We had a wonderful few days in this cozy house right on the fjord. It was heavenly quiet and the area was great excursion options that were varied and interesting. We would come back any time - it was really great that we had an entire house available and everything we needed was there. Thanks

The house is about 10km outside of Forde on highway 13. It looks over a lake across the street. The lake is very clear and you can swim in it. The location is secluded and very quiet. All you would hear is the bird singing. There was essentially no traffic on the highway when we were there. The house has two bedrooms and a spacious loft. There was plenty of room for 4 adults. The furniture is rustic. You can eat outside and enjoy the view of the lake and the mountain across the street. If you are looking for a house in the country side of Norway, this house is a perfect place. The host is very responsive and wonderful.

Marit and Petter are great hosts, warmly welcomed us with beautiful flowers on the table. The place is very nice and the house with history has everything we needed.

We stayed at Kristin's place one night. The house is beautifully idyllic in nature with views of a lake, the mountains and waterfalls. Also met the goats and the alpacas. The perfect place to unwind

Absolutely fabulous stay at this beautiful corner of the Earth. The host, Hilde-Lill, was really forthcoming and very friendly. We’re definitely hoping to get a chance to return to this paradise some day.

Such an idyllic location. this place would be great for people who enjoy fishing, kayaking, other watersports and nature walks. The cabin was comfortable and had everything you needed. Perfect!

Great place, beautiful location, and very nice hosts. They greeted us and made us feel at home. I only wish we could've stayed there longer. It is a historic school house and it's very cool to stay there.

Super cozy cabin where you had everything you needed. Extra cozy to lock in and it was set on the heat, there were twist and flowers on the table, wood-burning stove prepared. Good experience from start to finish, we would love to come back :-)

Perfect, cozy home for winter getaway. We stayed here for 3 days as part of our winter Norway trip. The home was exactly what we wanted. From the cozy wood rooms to the breathtaking views it was the perfect escape. Mari was a wonderful host. She was kind enough to explain the history of farmhouse and shared home baked traditional bollers with us which were delicious and so fun to try! She was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and her hospitality really added to the warmth of this wonderful little stay. Make sure to try the old school hot tub - it’s really cool!

Very nice house with direct access to the beach. However, the ferry is only 50 meters from the house. However, this is not loud. There is a hot tub included, but in winter you really need a lot of firewood and patience until it gets warm. Unfortunately, the shower drain didn't work well for us. The house is very cozy and the kitchen is well equipped, but there is some lighting missing. You have a wonderful view of the fjord

Well equipted house, superb location – a very good experience at Arild‘s place. Owner is very easy to get in contact with, any issue is solved at the same minute :) 100% recommend for the one’s who will look at the place to rent in Førde !!!!!
