Fakarava, Spacious local-style bungalow.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Wendy is as a host and her very sweet bungalow. While i think of myself as an intrepid traveler, in a new small remote location having Wendy’s help to get oriented created such peace of mind and immediately felt at home on the island. Her place is simple and sweet and made for a very spacious clean peaceful retreat as if in one’s own home yet a tiny walk to magical beaches, snorkeling swimming or a 10 min walk to the local amenities like fresh bagette park each morning. She was above and beyond helpful and generous with her time. Highly recommend her place as a magical getaway for a taste of simple island life. Shockingly almost no bug issues with the breeze and airflow - we didn’t used moquito nets or spray.

Great stay, we'll be happy to go back! We loved the location, close to the bakery, small shops, and even diving clubs. The bikes available are a real plus, as is the breathtaking view of the ocean and the great veranda where life is good. The house is superbly ventilated, well ventilated, and thanks to the proximity to the ocean and the screens on the windows, no mosquitoes on the horizon: real comfort! We absolutely did not suffer from the heat, we were really good there. Special mention for the excellent bedding, the impeccable cleanliness of the accommodation, the calm of the place... and especially for the welcome of Taha, really adorable, of great kindness, always available, responsive and smiling. A big thank you for the beautiful necklaces of Tiare, a delicate attention that touched us. So excited to come back! We recommend this listing without a second thought: it really ticks every box! A gem!

Fare Kito Fakarava

Very good stay in this superb bungalow, very clean and spacious. There were only two of us but great for four people. Bike available, very convenient for short trips to nearby restaurants and shop as well as the beach. Very warm welcome not Tetaha, who guided us to find restaurants while we arrived late because of the plane, as well as the activities to do. And who arranged us well for the departure time. Quiet and peaceful place. We highly recommend this listing. Looking forward to coming back.

Fakarava - Teariki Lodge 1

Very nice accommodation. The seawater pool is very pleasant after a day of activities. The place is very quiet because of its isolation, isolation relativized by the convenience store just opposite which is very well stocked, except for fruits and vegetables, and the fact that activity providers include drop-off and rests in their services.

KoriKori House Fakarava ( FARE BNB1)

The place is remarkable, on the edge of the lagoon where you can swim and enjoy the canoes available free of charge like bikes to get to the village 4km away. Turia and her husband were very welcoming when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon. Indeed we did not notice that on Sundays everything is closed but Turia organized with her sister-in-law so that she would welcome us for dinner, when it would have been necessary to notify the day before. Accommodation is nice, with good bedding. It's well ventilated, with screens on the windows. As on many islands, there is no drinking water network. Locals have remarkable water management by collecting rainwater, but it is not drinkable for our unaccustomed organisms. Turia was very good advice for our trips on the lagoon to remarkable sites. Fakarava is a real paradise including for those who don't dive, practicing only snorkeling like us.
