Vacation rentals with lake access in Fairfield County

This is our second time renting this beautiful lakeside home and it was absolutely perfect for our girl's weekend. The kitchen was a dream, with all of the appliances and amenities you could need and plenty of room for everyone. The living room had so much seating and the fireplace made everything that much more cozy. All of the bedrooms had very comfortable beds with the best sheets and comforters. I think everyone was impressed with how well they slept. The owner was super easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We can't speak highly enough about this rental. Thank you !

Absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb! The views of the water were breathtaking—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. It was exactly what we needed for a girls' weekend getaway. The space was cozy and had all the amenities we could ask for. We spent hours on the deck, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. It’s almost hard to believe Lake Waccabuc is only 1 hr north of NYC! My family had a wonderful stay! It was not easy leaving. Thank you Patrick! Once you arrive here, you will NOT want to leave! A true gem. You will feel like you’re in Maine! The house is set in the woods surrounded by hemlocks and pine trees, with a perfect view of the lake! We saw bald eagles, swans, and blue herons. Loved the morning light and fog-listening to the songs of the birds and watching the sunset on the lake. Our family loved fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking! The house is set on 4 acres- a fun and safe area to cycle, and take long walks. Close to Ridgefield, CT, Katonah and Bedford -only 15 min away! Patrick always responded to my questions within minutes and Jay, the house manager went above and beyond making sure our stay was perfect!!!! My boys already have asked if we can come back and rent again! 🙏

We stayed at the Zen House last year and were delighted to repeat the experience. And will do so again on the next trip to Stamford.

Perfect stay!

Well located, quaint and clean on very quiet private road. A county getaway just minutes from the Conneticut Turnpike.

Really enjoyed our stay! The host is very approachable and drove out of state to get us salt on the day for checkout as snow is frozen on the slide way. She is giving us a good experience and being very considerate to allow us to leave later than schedule due to severe weather.

Location was superb! Clean quiet neighborhood in Fairfield. Close to amenities. My favorite part were the big windows that led to the woods in the backyard. It was absolutely breathtaking waking up to seeing as I’m a huge nature lover. Place was super clean and spacious. Alex was attentive and a great responder. Loved it!

Several of us just came back from a quick overnight trip to Brookfield, and I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in this area of CT. The bottom floor was recently renovated, so the place is really well laid out with plenty of amenities. There is enough to do on property to keep a group of people entertained for a weekend stay if you plan on sticking around the house. The location is incredible, situated in a little nook right on the water with a ton of privacy and a huge backyard. And definitely reach out to Flory in advance as she plenty of recommendations for things to do and where to eat while you're in town. You will have no regrets if you book this place.

Spacios and quite even a nice backyard for summer weathers. Access to kitchen accessories plus nice a cozy. Overall was a very well and clean place.

This was a beautiful space with everything needed for our stay. Saleem provided plenty of towels and has put a lot of thought into the small details that adds to the comfort of a trip.

My husband and I spent a lovely week at Pinar’s apartment over the Christmas holiday. The apartment is very modern and clean. The radiant heat kept it quite comfortable and I loved the view from the floor to ceiling windows in the living room. Lots of bird activity in the mornings!

Michelle was an amazing host! The best I’ve had. She was very nice, quick to respond with any questions my roommates and I had and she was also very accommodating. The Airbnb was very clean, very comfortable and in a good area close to the highway, grocery stores and food spots. I would definitely stay here again.

Special place! Everything we needed had been thought about before hand by the host. The house and especially the main room is very wonderful, big windows framing a gorgeous lake view. Thanks so much for everything, definitely one of my favorite Airbnb rentals.

Peaceful, serene lake house. Loved sitting by the dock and people watching. Comfy, cozy rooms and inviting living room with a huge tv to enjoy movie night and hangout. Many different deck areas make the house more fun. Driveway has minimal space so need to be mindful of how many cars you are taking (fits 2 comfortably and 3 if the neighbor doesn't park too close to your driveway)

Sweet Dotties Cottage was better than expected. It was right on the water and even had a dock for our boat. It was very clean and exactly as described. The screened in porch was great at night. I highly recommend and will be visiting this property again.

Christienne was very responsive and helpful, the house was just as described and the location was so peaceful and quiet. Unfortunately I had to shorten my stay but I would absolutely be back if the opportunity presents itself.

My stay at the cottage was nothing short of beautiful and peaceful. Surrounded by nature, I felt completely disconnected from the chaos of everyday life, allowing me to truly unwind. The quiet mornings, fresh air, and cozy atmosphere made it the perfect retreat. The deep soaking tub was a wonderful touch—letting the warm water melt away all stress was exactly what I needed. I left feeling refreshed, reset, and ready to take on whatever comes next.
