Great location just steps from the waterfront and the ferry terminal. Lovely apartment with a very comfortable bed, lots of tv stations. Jorge was very attentive and even provided a lunch snack for our arrival. We would highly recommend this property.

A special place, very quiet, clean, excellent for babies and children. We became two families, very spacious, with all the necessary utensils available and a spectacular host, always available to meet us. We feel at home.

We loved this place - super clean and great location as its walkable to a sand beach and into the town of Horta and 10 min drive to airport! Rosa and Alexandra were extremely helpful and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend staying here!

Paulo’s place was very nice. The location was great for what we were looking for. It was clean, spacious and has a beautiful view off the porch. It was a bit warm so sleeping wasn’t as comfortable as expected. There is a an AC wall split unit in the living area which was helpful, however it didn’t reach the bedrooms. I brought my 1.5 yr old daughter and they had a crib there for me which was great. Having laundry available was also helpful. Paulo was responsive when we requested some items and needed help with the AC split unit.

This little apartment was a cute clean place to stay. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of fans as sometimes the islands get warm. The kitchen was fully stocked. We felt right at home. I stayed with my husband and son and my mom and dad also stayed in another room. My dad is hard to please and he said these people have a nice thing going on here. I recommend this place to everyone.

The Refúgio À Beira Mar apartment is modern, spacious, well equipped and in an excellent location. You can see the ocean through the windows and watch beautiful sunrises in the mornings. Sílvia is a friendly and kind person. She gave us a lot of practical local recommendations and surprised us with a welcome basket full of delicious local snacks. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

This place was the highlight of our stay in the Azores. The location and views are amazing. Had it not been for a maximum of 5 points in the airbnb scale, I would have given ten. Decor and architecture seem even more beautiful in reality than it comes across on the photos. We will certainly be back.

We enjoyed our stay with views of Faial across the water and Pico inland. The bed was comfortable and the surroundings quiet.

We had a great time at Joao's place. The house is in perfect condition, very well-equipped. Joao's hospitality (in excellent French) was great. He was kind and available during our stay and gave us some great tips on things to visit. The house is a stone's throw from the beach, ideally placed to visit the island. In short, a great stay and a super host!

The second time I've been staying and I hope to come back more often. D. Isabel is so friendly and the place very quiet.

This was the best place I’ve ever stayed!! The island is already breathtaking but the location of the home, the view, and the pool made our experience on Pico even better. Ana and Benedita have been super accommodating and allowed me to change the dates during the pandemic. I finally was able to visit after two years and it was well worth the wait! If you are on the fence you need to book this stay. They also own a couple restaurants on the island, i highly recommend going to Magma for a nice meal overlooking the ocean!
