House vacation rentals in Exeter

We had a very chilled 4 days at Clare’s lovely pool house. Clare and her husband are great host very friendly and helpful, the village is beautiful and quiet and the sounds of the church bell ringers practising on Thursday night was lush, the pool house is warm and cozy.

We were a group of 15 friends and family - adults, teenagers and children - celebrating new year together. The property suited us perfectly and had everything we needed for a great few days. The location is excellent for the Jurassic coast beaches and Lyme Regis.

Only stayed for one night for a wedding but would definitely go back for a longer stay. Large comfortable place in beuatiful surroundings. Great value for money. Only little let down was if 6 adults staying sofa bed is not very comfortable, would probably be okay for children. Kayleigh was a really responsive host and any query was responded too within a few minutes. Really nice place in a really nice location.

Just come back from Mistletoe Farm after celebrating a Hen weekend there. We all could not fault the hosts, they were incredible & always checking if we needed anything, so helpful throughout the whole stay. Mistletoe Farm is beautiful & so peaceful. Plenty to do within the property. We all especially loved the pool/hot tub & also the karaoke machine was a big hit. It really is the perfect place either for celebrating a special occasion or a family weekend. We all enjoyed our stay & said it is a place we would love to go back to. Thank you again to the amazing hosts. Would highly recommend this air b&b 😊

We celebrated our ruby wedding anniversary at Vedalworks with a family weekend at the end of March. The facilities and space were ideal for different ages, with the hot tub and the gigantic TV ideal for the younger ones, whilst the “oldies” were able to sit and chat in groups, as well as going for walks and visiting the car meet at the farm next door. 22 people for our main meal were easily accommodated, and the two fridges and two dishwashers were invaluable - everyone was most impressed with the house. The only disappointment was that we were informed rather late in the day that there was a parking limit of only 6 cars; the village car park, which we were told to use, is a mile away, and we had to run a shuttle service by the volunteer who had agreed not to drink until later. We had a lovely and memorable weekend for our celebration and were blessed with gorgeous spring weather.

Stayed for around 4 nights and had an absolutely wonderful winter holidays together with my young family. The house is stunning the interior design is lovely and and the views are heavenly. Log fire with plenty of fuel was a big hit! pool and hotub a once a day at least activity for the kids especially during bank holidays. The fully stocked playroom was perfect for our young children. Really captured some great memories together with our family in this peaceful location and setting and came away wanting more!

This was our 2nd visit and we had a magical stay. The accommodation is so perfect for us, and we just love Westward-Ho and the stunning beach. Weather was amazing and we met loads of lovely people whilst out with our English Bulldog Gwen. We hope to return later this year.

What a great house to stay in, the pictures don’t actually do it justice. It has everything that you could expect and more, plenty of space and stuff to keep children occupied

Absolutely stunning place a lovely place to get away from the stresses of life for a few days

Helen’s place was absolutely wonderful, so peaceful and relaxing, exactly what was needed this weekend! Was really close to royal William yard which is where we needed to be, lots of extras included in the home like tea, coffee, sugar and milk! The beds were sooo comfy and clean, the heating was on at a comfortable level so the house was warm and cosy, was exactly as described and photographed! Was really wonderful to stay in a homely place, would highly recommend and would stay again. Also they were super responsive to any messages and even offered a longer check out if needed, all around amazing

We had a fantastic stay in Salcombe. The property is in a perfect location and instructions regarding the optional parking permit and local car parks was very clear. The property was spotless and contained everything we needed. We will definitely be returning!

We had a brilliant stay at Three Gates Farm. Beautiful location and fabulous views. We had an easy check in on Friday afternoon and literally didn’t leave until Sunday morning. It was the perfect place for a weekend with kids and grandparents. A place to cook, relax and just spend time together as a family. The cottage was comfortable, cosy (with a brilliant wood burner) and well equipped. Anything extra we needed in terms of supplies, we had been forewarned about which was super helpful. The pool is on a rota system between the cottages so, which means you can enjoy it to yourselves at set times and there is a daily shared slot each evening too. It has a great big box of pool toys to enjoy, which was just heaven for the kids and the sauna, a treat for the adults. The games room had lots of toys and a small pool table for the kids, great to hide in in the cold weather and my kids thought the outdoor play area was brilliant, right beside a big fenced duck pond. We hope to come back!

We could not have enjoyed our stay more. The location, house and setting were breathtaking. Lyndon himself was a true gentleman who fully understood our needs and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. A truly nice, genuine person who cared about his property and our stay in it being the best it could be. Going as far as organising and setting up kegs of beer on tap to be enjoyed in the amazing home bar that was offered. Check in and out could not have been easier and was very nice for us to actually meet the host and to meet such a good guy. The cleanliness was exceptional! The recommendation for and booking of a local restaurant, where we had one of the best meals we’ve had in years was greatly appreciated. I cannot recommend Lyndon’s property more and will be telling anyone I know who wants to stay in Tavistock area that’s the place for them. Truly the English language fails in articulating how happy we are with our stay at Lyndon’s property! Fantastic!!!!!

What a beautiful cottage in an amazing peaceful setting with chickens and sheep to keep you company. The dog friendly garden was perfect for our new rescue dog. Tiffany and John was lovely hosts and were at hand for any problems. Although we only had a short stay, we felt relaxed after our stay in such peaceful surroundings. Would definitely recommend to other guests. The location was perfect for visiting Charmouth, Lyme Regis,West Bay, Bridport and Beer.

we had a fantastic stay at Tom's place this Christmas! the house was perfect with everything we could possibly need. walking distance from the beach and pub was fab. thankyou for a wonderful stay and the hamper which had been left for our arrival it was much appreciated.

Fantastic property in a great location. The house has lots going for it...flexible accommodation - all very well kitted out, private hot tub in the enclosed sunny rear garden, very useful outside heated shower for getting the beach off you and prepping for the hot tub, the whole place has a lovely feel to it. Location-wise, it's only a short drive to some of the best beaches in the country....we SUP'd at Hele Bay, body-boarded at Woolacombe, and ate ice cream everywhere! Close enough to larger towns like Barnstaple and Ilfracombe, but walkable to the lovely Braunton with it's mix of pubs and restaurants. It's a great home, beautifully located.

We had a great stay at Priory House celebrating a 30th birthday. Wonderful, large, private property with plenty to do and everything you need! Felt very spacious even with 16 people and Richard was really responsive throughout. We will definitely look to book this property again for any future large gatherings!

Perfect. We throughly enjoyed our family stay, a relaxed time in a beautiful home. Rose made communication really easy, the extra little bits were lovely. A goodie box on arrival, all the bits and pieces in the kitchen we so helpful. The open fires and Christmas tree made it cosy and homely from the minute we arrived. The area is stunning, all accessible for all ages. All the bedrooms were perfect and a very comfy night's sleep. nothing was a problem. Thank you
