Vacation rentals with a kayak in Europe

House on 3 floors at the edge of an ultra functional and very well-equipped body of water. you are 20min from Leiden, 40 from Amsterdam.. you can do everything on foot on a daily basis.. (shopping, restaurant, walk...) it's a great place and the hotel was very nice... If I come back to Leiden, I will definitely return here... book with your eyes closed 🙂

Great little find! We had a lovely stay as a young family. Such a gorgeous location on the river - lots to do in the area for children. House was immaculate when we arrived. Comfy beds. Fully stocked with all cleaning basics, tea bag’s etc. only slight improvements to be made would be black out blinds in the bedrooms, WiFi very slow and would be great if there was an information booklet provided as there was a sauna and some sports equipment included with the lodge and we had no idea until the end of our stay. Overall a fantastic holiday and we would definitely return.

Space welcoming and with privacy, as described in the information of the accommodation. We booked because of the good valuations we have seen and shared the same opinion! Calm nights, without any noise and we still have the opportunity to see a fox that passed there near the place: it was a very beautiful sight that only demonstrates how real the "Nature and tranquility" point is. We want to go back and repeat the experience! They were super friendly and helpful all the time! Note: The jacuzzi is comfortable but we advise you to turn it on a good few hours before you want to use it because it's normal to take a while to warm up ehehehe

We had a quiet and relaxing getaway at the lake house. We enjoyed the view and peace. The kitchen is very well equipped. The forest next door is great for walking. Communication was quick and very nice. We will be happy to come back ! :)

We spent 4 very pleasant days in Alain's house. Very close to the sea, the house is very spacious, bright and comfortable. We will be back!

Our stay at Ana and Carlos’ place was fantastic! The place is decorated with lots of care and we felt right at home. The home cinema is a big plus, the bed very comfortable and the kitchen has everything we needed. Carlos was very proactive and helpful in his communication. Thanks again for proving a lovely home away from home.

We had an amazing stay here, with 4 adults and 3 children (and a small dog). Lots of berry and mushroom picking, canoeing, enjoying the beautiful lake, sauna and hot tub and even catching a few fishes. No need to go anywhere else, there is more than enough to do on the property and surroundings. Pentti was always very responsive and nice. There was everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back here and wish we’d been able to stay longer.

Another lovely stay at this beautiful, cosy cottage. We enjoyed a peaceful Hogmanay in stormy weather - wild and windy outside but toasty by the fire. Would recommend to anyone seeking a quiet break in stunning scenery.

We’ve been traveling Europe for 6 months, and this was our all-time favorite stay! We got to spend Christmas at the cottage, and Pat and Mary made us feel right at home. We were greeted with scones and fires and Christmas decorations, and both Pat and Mary went out of their way to look after us and provide wonderful, local recommendations. We enjoyed visiting them at their bookshop-cafe and getting to know them throughout our stay. The cottage is incredibly cozy - comfortable beds and couches with two, large fireplaces - and the location itself was ideal. The kitchen is very well-supplied, and the showers were always warm. We could get into Galway city easily, or head deeper into Connemara to explore the Irish landscapes. Oughterard is a lovely town, and it had great restaurants and grocery shops and (of course) the bookshop-cafe! Highly recommend!

Last week we had the pleasure of staying in Wren Cottage for 3 nights. Prior to our arrival Daphne, was super proactive in sharing detailed information in preparation for our stay and there was further information upon our arrival, with some great recommendations for local walks, one of which we explored on our final day. Wren cottage itself was spotlessly clean, warm, cosy, comfortable and very well equipped. However the real highlight for us was its beautifully tranquil location and direct access onto the stunning Coniston lake, where we were able to fully immerse ourselves in nature through both sitting by the lakeshore and paddle-boarding. We will definitely look to return to Wren in the future and would recommend it to anybody looking for a nourishing, country escape.

A little oasis of a place to stay and unwind. Cosy and homely, can walk straight from the door with views of the estuary from the bedroom window. Host was great with communication and it was great to arrive to find logs, kindling and some lovely treats in the kitchen. Recommend staying here wholeheartedly 💙

Were there for a night to make a stopover, the cabin was very nice & the location fantastic.

A gem in the Kingdom. Paul was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making everything so straightforward. The cottage was charming and comfortable, providing a cosy retreat after our adventures along the Ring of Kerry. Charging options for EVs were limited, so having a charger right at the door was a significant advantage, with less cost and hassle than rapid charging on the road. The private sauna was an excellent way to unwind, a highly recommended addition to any stay.

A charming and spacious cottage under the pine trees in a peaceful environment with a lake view, where we are happy to return. Extra plus for really comfortable beds!

We had a wonderful relaxing mini vacation in this cottage. The location is perfect, in the middle of beautiful nature, next to it, the calming atmosphere. The place offers complete privacy and your own peace, without disturbance or other people. In the cool of the fall, a warm lot was a really lovely addition and complemented our stay. The cottage was very clean and well-kept, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for peace and the beauty of nature around you!

Very cozy cabin, beautiful field views, the whole family slept so well. We rested very well ! The cabin was very clean, nice pillows and blankets, there was plenty of space and more than in most similar places.

Great, spacious and very well equipped log cabin. The cabin is close to Haukelifjell ski center and a fantastic mountain world and has parking space for 3-4 cars. Sveinung had arranged clearing and it was definitely required. We rented the cabin with an annex and it gave us 7 men very ample bolting space - we could easily be twice as many. There is a very well equipped kitchen and it suited us foody guys very well. The only thing we couldn't do was the stomp. It probably requires even more patient and prolonged firing than the 6 hours we spent. Anyway an incredibly great stay and a nice and accommodating host.

We had a lovely stay. Beautiful and peaceful location, with not great access to public transport, however, an uber for around £8 which takes you right into the city centre. Great access to the facilities, which were also very clean! Very cosy cabin, great for a weekend stay! WiFi and TV were great too.
