This stay was even better than I could have imagined. The scenery was so beautiful. The Airbnb itself was very comfortable and cozy and a perfect spot to hang out and rest in. I would def recommend this place and would love to come back.

This place tops my list on the houses I have had the privilege to stay in. From the rustic wrap around porches to the beautiful custom kitchen. Everything about this home feels handcrafted. Definitely a labor of love that must have taken years. And I can’t forget to mention the outdoor space. I am far from an astrologer but the night sky up on top of this mountain without all the light pollution was breathtakingly awg inspiring. And with tons of hiking trails to explore there is never a dull moment. Lastly Matt the host I would have to say is what made our stay the best yet. With all his help from navigating us there to being flexible on our check in to even accommodating us another day last minute. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. I would definitely stay here again.

This place was wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms clean and plenty of towels. Nice bedrooms. Love the spa but was unable to use due to weather. The electric fireplace is a nice touch especially with those cool rainy Humboldt days. The furnishings were very comfortable and the sitting area with the two recliners a nice place to sit with a cup of coffee in the morning and watch the surf as well as the river. Bottom line, there are just too many special touches to list. We will definitely be back.

My 2 best friends and I love visiting the North Coast every year for a relaxing getaway. We think we have found our dream home for that trip from now on. The house was just as pictured and Pauline was a lovely, thoughtful host. She was very informative and helpful leading up to the trip and then following our orientation, left us to enjoy her beautiful cottage. The house is 3 minutes from the grocery store in Fortuna so very accessible but nestled up in the redwoods making you feel like you are out in the middle of nowhere. We each had our own room and were very comfortable. Thank you again for sharing your unique cottage with us!

Maureen’s Dream House was absolutely amazing! It’s tucked away in a beautiful forest setting, making it feel super private and serene. The house is very spacious and has plenty of room for a big family, with kids and dogs too. Everyone had their own private space, which was a huge plus. The location is fantastic for anyone who wants to visit Redwoods National Park. I highly recommend this unique and unforgettable home!

The house is situated at prime seaview location. The amenities are exactly as described.

It’s a really beautiful place in a peaceful area, exactly as described. Lots of comfortable space to stretch out in, and the bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in, no exaggeration! I’d recommend it as a quiet stay that is close to the redwood parks, the nearest being about a 40min drive. Really enjoyed my stay!

For it being our first Airbnb stay we couldn’t have asked for a better place to start at! The home was comfortable and looked just liked the pictures. It’s a little further into the neighborhoods so we felt safe and secure. Would definitely stay again when we come back!

Great place to stay near Avenue of the Giants. Close to Redwoods. Very peaceful, clean and safe.
