Vacation rentals in Esperança

This location is perfect if you want to drive and spend a few days exploring the Alentejo. Multiple towns are nearby. Evora is a great all day trip, including the megaliths outside of town, and you get to leave all the guided groups behind. Elvas is a wonderful town very near the border with Spain. Villa Real is a gem. Arraiolos is known for weaving rugs. Evoramonte is close by and has terrific views. All of these towns are hilltop towns with castles. The regional wine is terrific, the cork industry is fascinating, the olives, oranges, and lemons, are great, and you are in the middle of the area of marble quarrying. The towns are predominantly full of white buildings with mustard or blue trim and lot and lots of marble. Fica’s place is comfortable, quiet, and has restaurants, bakeries, drugstores, and small shops just steps away.

Casa das Pedras is a great place to stay on a visit to this area. It is a very calm and quiet area, perfect for relaxing. We only stayed one night and it was a shame, because the house invites you to stay a few good days to disconnect and rest. Marcia is an excellent host, always present and ready to help. I highly recommend this place and I want to go back!

Great place to stay. Near the main square, walkable to many of the main locations. Great host. Really a wonderful time.

We loved our stay at Quinta do Miradouro! The house is equipped with everything needed for a short stay and great moments of relaxation, it is very spacious and very quiet, only the herds and birds were heard. The trail around the house is very beautiful to make, with beautiful views. The house was very clean, with everything tidy and smelling! The host Sónia always responded quickly, maintained good communication and flexibility at check-in and check-out. Alternative accesses were shown by Sónia (due to poor floor conditions). I only have to mention the fact that the second bathroom is not easily accessible from one of the rooms, having to cross the entire house or cross the contiguous room. For the rest, we loved and recommend Quinta do Miradouro!

The stay at the dolls' house was spectacular. The house was very well decorated and very well equipped with everything thought out in detail. The hosts Mr. Joaquim and his wife were impeccable and welcomed us very well and were always willing for anything that was necessary. The village is spectacular to rest from the city's stress. I would like to visit ÉvoraMonte Castle as it is only a 15-minute walk away and the unassuming view we come across up there is well worth it. I highly recommend this place for a visit to the Alentejo. Without a doubt I will return.

Excellent value.!! The buildings and surroundings on this private property are absolutely gorgeous. Everything looks exactly like in the pictures and even better. Pedro is really kind.

There were six of us for two nights in this wonderful place and we can only say: It was just wonderful! Miguel welcomed us warmly, and already upon our arrival all rooms were pleasantly heated while the fireplace was burning cheerfully. We immediately felt right at home. We particularly enjoyed the time in the spacious living room, where we played many games of billiards. The room is just perfect for socializing. It was particularly nice to go to the garden in the morning and pick fresh oranges, pomegranates or lemons from the trees – a real highlight! Another plus: The car could be parked right next to the place. A small point I would like to note concerns the address. This was only communicated to us after booking and was initially not quite correct. Since we had a journey of two hours, this could still be clarified in time, as Miguel responded very quickly to our request. Thank you!

The stay was acquired as a gift for my parents and they loved it. They found the house beautiful and well esteemed, impeccable cleaning and the farm very beautiful. Guests, Susana and Alberto were quite friendly and always available. I highly recommend staying in Monte Varandas. 5-star stay with nothing negative pointing at all.
