Vacation rentals with lake access in Epping Forest

We had a great time staying here, finding the house to be very clean, welcoming and felt like home as soon as we arrived. It was just as described and shown in the photos. We had great communication from John & Esther throughout our stay. The house was very comfortable especially the beds. It’s a great location with a playground right outside and an easy walk to the Elizabeth tube line

this is a wonderful cottage - very comfortable with a great kitchen and lovely garden - in the best location. we loved it.

This was my first air b&b booking and it has honestly been amazing. Michelle was very helpful in accommodating our large group for my wedding and answering all my questions. It was a lovely house to stay in, we all had plenty of space to move around and not once did we feel on top of each other. If I ever found myself in Bocking or the surrounding area it is one that I would book again. I would love to explore the fields out the back and spend more time in the surrounding area. The house was in the perfect location and everything about it was great.

A couple travelled with two teenagers, a toddler and an elderly. Frida's place was perfect for our group. The living room was big enough for all of us, especially for our toddler to run around. Comfortable kitchen with good size stove & fridge. Dining room w sufficient space for 6 of us. We cooked almost every day. However, the upstairs bathroom can be cold in winter and the shower water pressure is a bit lacking, so we end up using the downstairs bathroom most of the time, which was a good bathroom w good pressure and temp. Comfortable and clean beds. Complete amenities. Good wardrobes w enough space for 2 weeks worth of clothes. The cottage is also walkable (15-20mins) to Hampstead High St and Heath, much to our delight! My mother-in-law ws so happy w the place, she suggested to return here whenever we are back in London. Happy to! A tip: the downstairs bedroom w double bed is more suitable for elderlies and those w young children due to the space and access to bathroom.

Anna was a lovely host and her home was beautiful. The photos do not do it justice. I would highly recommend Anna’s home and stay there again.

Lovely quaint barn! Great location for walks, two local pubs and the HomeBarn is just at the end of the road which is a bonus! A few mins drive to Marlow… perfect location!

We had a wonderful stay over new year and to celebrate a big birthday milestone. Eyad was super helpful/responsive and the accommodation did not disappoint, excellent space and every amenity needed. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back in the summer time!

Our stay at Dominique and Muhammad’s AirBnB was Fantastic! Muhammad is a Great communicator and Very helpful and friendly! When he met us at the building, Muhammad was very kind and gracious! The AirBnB itself is Beautiful, well appointed and Very comfortable! The deck provides a wonderfully peaceful lounging location at the end of the day! This AirBnB is ideally located near Vauxhall for easy access to Tube, Bus, and River transportation. Even still, the AirBnB is on the Thames side of the building and is exceptionally quiet and comfortable! The Tesco on the bottom commercial floor is particularly convenient, and the restaurants there on the Thames are Very enjoyable!! We definitely recommend Muhammad and this AirBnB and look forward to coming back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this place that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained the apartment was. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The apartment itself was lovely and fully equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic Airbnb experience!

The apartment looks brand new, it s super clean and the view is absolutely AMAZING. We booked the place for two nights to see Taylor swift on wembley and we had a BLAST🫶 it very easy to get anywhere as it s 2 min walking distance from subway. The host were very kind and even gave us tips on what to do around the neighbourhood. Thanks for everything. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect

Five star accommodation in a peaceful residential setting a walkable distance from town. Bed was very comfortable and the heating made it feel cosy, even in January. Ample parking. Felt very safe.

We had an amazing stay in the loveley flat by Yemi! He is very kind and really cares about his guests. Espacially the view from the balcony is amazing from 15th floor. The flat looks exactly as shown.

Staying for a friends 21st party so crash pad. It was lovely inside and to high spec. Comfortable and easily accommodated us all. Thank you

Beautiful cottage style house very homely with lots of personal expression in the decor and personal effects (instruments and furnishings) Very spacious both inside and outside. Close enough to Milton Keynes for our event and close to surrounding towns but very quiet residential area with quaint little strip of shops and a post office. Was ideal stay for our purposes at a time where all accommodation was high it was fairly priced although I did mention it was not most ideal price but when you get there and see that your in their home and protecting their space it is clear why it’s priced as such. This is a stay that will feel like you’re in someone’s home, however, the communication and instructions allow you to feel at ease and welcome. Neighbours seemed lovely and friendly and the cat was a welcomed visitor. Cannot fault the property or its amenities at all would love to stay again

5th time staying with Debi in the Mews, had a lovely time as always. Place is as nice as presented in photos, and Debi&team are responsive and friendly hosts. Will be back next time we need a place to stay in the area.

We (family of 4 with a small dog) had a lovely stay in "The Hive"! It is a small but wonderful nice little house on the edge of Walthamstow and a 7 minute walk away to the Overground station "Wood Street". A large wooded area is very close for taking the dog out for walks. The house was very clean and nicely furnished. Because of the weather we couldn't use the garden much and didn't need the office at the end of the garden but in warmer temperatures this would surely make the stay even more perfect. If you are looking for a place to stay in London that gives you the opportunity to go into town easily and quickly but you like staying in a quiet neighbourhood with nature close by, this is perfect! The most beautiful Airbnb ever. Would definitely recommend. Cozy and felt at home. Host was very welcoming and easy to talk to. We took walks at the Thames River in the morning and it was beautiful. Would definitely come again if given another chance.

This was our second stay at Gales Cottage and we will be back! The location is so very peaceful and private, within easy access of Windsor and Eton. Communication with James is great - simple and straight forward. Crocus Garden Centre next door was lovely for lunch and The Pineapple pub in Dorney great for dinner. The walk around Dorney Lake is really lovely - although the weather was too bad for us to do it this time...so that will have to wait until our next visit.

Samantha was a fantastic, friendly host. We bumped into her on day 1 and she gave us some great suggestions to keep us going for the weekend. The nearby nature reserve and the seaside were both lovely and the lakes around the lodge are beautiful. A wonderful spot for a quiet weekend. The cottage had everything we could have needed plus some lovely extra touches.
