Great option for international travelers! Sam provided additional details and tips regarding local restaurants and facilities. The onsite caretaker was helpful to get everything setup and ask questions. Amenities were solid - hot water in bathrooms and AC in all rooms. Thanks!

We had a wonderful experience during our one-night stay at this homestay! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the host, who was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The surroundings were peaceful and serene, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again! Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

An amazing traditional keralan cottage that exceeded our expectations. In a great location out of the wa of the tourist area so we felt like we were right amongst the locals but also next to the backwaters, so beautiful. Great staff and facilities would highly recommend

The place is best to take a break and spend some leisure time with family. The owner was a friendly lady and her sister cooked yummy breakfast with welcome drinks. The beach is very nearby. Good parking space which I required. Online food and groceries service are available. Will surely keep this stay in my list when I visit Alleppey again. Thank you again for the hospitality.

I wasn’t prepared for how much I enjoyed staying at Samjana’s place. She’s an architect and designed the whole building herself. From the polished brick floors feeling delightful on my bare feet to the open balconies and kitchen, to waking up with an incredible view of the jungle birds and animals, we loved the balance between modern design and natural beauty. With Samjana’s internet booster, I was also able to work comfortably there. And we found delicious restaurants and friendly fruit & veg vendors at the junction within walking distance. We’re grateful for Samjana creating this place and sharing it with us. 🙏🏼

Jason and his mother Daisy had been wonderful. Although Daisy is a quiet person she receives her guests with a great smile and there was a good interaction. Please ask if you need something. The place is not too far from boating and other places of interest like the Birds sanctuary etc...Everything went well during our stay. I recommend highly. Jayaraman

Sebastian and his wife Cecilia are extremely kind and go the extra mile to make your stay go well. Sebastian was extremely responsive to all of my requests. He even took me to a place to purchase fresh fruit, as I was only eating fruit during my stay. His wife made me a delicious juice. They were both extremely kind and like family. When I asked if they had any bleach, Sebastian brought me some. The place was a stand alone building with 2 others like it nearby. Private and with AC. Very close to walk to the beach. Also a place to buy fresh drinking coconuts nearby. If you are a westerner, you might want to walk to the left when you get to the beach. About a 5-10 minute walk towards Fisherman’s Cafe, there is row of beach cots with umbrellas for the Westerners. Very useful in the hot sun! They cost about 200 rupees to use for a period of time. Swimming was great. Waves easy to navigate. White sand. Bring your flip flops as the sand can get very hot in the afternoon!
