Barn vacation rentals in England

The Orchard Barn is located in a lovely area in the New Forest. Plenty of nice walks and restaurants all around. Everything inside is as described. The spa was a great addition and we really enjoyed both the sauna and the hot tub. Chris was very proactive and made sure we were allright every day. Definitely recommend it and surely we shall return. Andrei.

We absolutely love this place! It’s so dreamy, and beautifully decorated. The interior design is homely and welcoming. It’s extremely spacious and so quiet and peaceful. The beds are very comfortable. We all slept really well and we’re already planning our return trip!

Our first proper visit to Dartmoor was a great experience, largely thanks to the comforts of Francesca’s beautiful barn. It is “in the middle of nowhere” yet only just down the road really from a pub and shop. The location offers a perfect place to explore the local area. The kitchen and living areas are spacious and the bedrooms were comfortable. It is well laid out as part of three houses together and offers considerable privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay with friends and family. The property was immaculate and had everything we needed, from all kitchen appliances, extra blankets, and board games. We loved our stay and would stay again. Thank you

We had a fantastic week at Lucy’s place. It was comfortable, well-equipped and cosy especially with the log-burner. Excellent location for walking from the door and not far to drive to other walks we wanted to do. Lucy was friendly and helpful and we appreciated being able to leave late on the last due after the snow overnight!

We were a family party with ages from 5 to 75 . Lots for everyone to do ( swimming , tennis, billiards/snooker & beautiful walks all there) There was enough space both inside the wonderfully converted barn and outside in the extensive grounds to enjoy each others company without being overcrowded. Thanks Sarah for enabling a lovely weekend .

Was welcomed in person and showed around the property with clear instructions, which helped me settle in well. Loved the quirky building & decor and the cosy bedroom area. A lovely touch was discovering a hot water bottle in my bed to make it extra cosy!

such a lovely space and tastefully decorated. feels like a proper home. bed was really comfy although stairs were tricky to get up and down so wouldn't suggest to anyone with mobility issues. but totally fine for us and would defo come back! many thanks sean

Liz was a wonderful host: we checked ourselves in (there’s a keybox but the key had been left in the door for us) and Liz knocked on the door to say hi! She was so lovely and made us feel right at home. We were so impressed with the space: it is spacious and open, very clean and has everything we needed (including a couple of games to keep us entertained). The bed is really comfy, and it was perfect to go to sleep/wake up to the skylight window above us. Easy vicinity to get to all the sights we wanted to see by car. The instructions were helpful and clear so that we knew exactly what to expect when we arrived and we got exactly what we wanted. Would highly recommend!

A beautiful barn conversion, spotlessly clean and very considerate hosts. Fresh orange juice, milk and eggs as well as bread, crumpets tea and coffee provided. everything was perfect - thank you.

The reviews did not lie! Pat and Neil were extremely welcoming and helpful when it came down to suggesting local walks, places to eat etc. We would really recommend the Aira force/Ullswater walk! They also introduced their dog Bob to our nervous dog which ensured our girl had a much more relaxing and enjoyable time. The barn was very spacious with a gorgeous fire which made for a very cosy feel. The bed was exactly what everyone had described it as, extremely comfy! The garden was lovely and big which extended the enjoyment of our dog. The whole barn was spotless and we couldn’t fault a thing inside. We would really recommend this stay and hope to return again in the not so distant future. Thanks once again Pat and Neil :)

Loved our stay, good location and lovely walks nearby. Information was good and The Barn was immaculate. Only negative for me was the induction hob but that's only because I'm not a fan of them.

Amazing view from the house. Rooms were spacious, especially kitchen area. Great location for families 5 or more people. Quick drive to the A30 (if you can fit through the bridge). Hot tub, with scones and Prosecco was an added bonus! Had a few minor issues, which Jeremy helped to rectify where he could. Definitely stay again!

We had a great stay at the Barn! The place was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect— as we wanted something quite and peaceful. Attractions and walks were close by. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place at the Lake District area.

The Barn is a beautifully laid out, well-appointed accomodation in a lovely location. It suited us - two families with grown children - very well, having four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a large living area with table for puzzles, large couches and TV. From the doorstep you can take walks around the larger estate, down to the lake or up the hill to catch the views. And it is well-placed as a base to spend a day hiking in the mountains (we enjoyed traversing Pen-y-Fan on a bright and extremely frosty day) or visiting nearby towns such as the delightful Hay-on-Wye. Sally and Hugh were friendly and helpful - many thanks!

One of the best Airbnbs we've stayed in. The place was lovely, everything was of high quality and really clean and tidy. Judy was very friendly and helpful.

Myself and a few friends were looking to escape and have a private beautiful place for a relaxing new year break and the barn was exactly this! We felt at home straight away. The barn is stunning - it’s somebody’s home with books, artwork, rugs, lots of life. Once you’re settled you won’t want to leave- we didn’t!

Stunning property with everything we needed and more! It’s even better than the photos! Check in/out was extremely smooth and we were left to enjoy our stay in complete peace. It was so warm and cosy but imagine it’d be just as welcoming in the summer months with the large doors and windows. Only 10-15 minutes from Ashford outlet which was really handy but also felt like miles away from everything. Loved the stay from start to finish and would definitely book again!

Great bunkhouse and great hosts. Would highly recommend this farm for the bunkhouse and camping. The campsite is great and easy which we use as a regular for the Gower, and decided to try the bunkhouse for the winter which was even better. Great communication from the host and very accommodating. The bunkhouse was perfect for my large group of mates and karaoke Will be using this bunkhouse again in the future if it’s too cold to camp there!

We had a lovely stay at this air BnB. it is perfect for a family. They provided high chair and cot for my daughter. The downstairs bedroom and wet room are brilliant for elderly parents. The kitchen is perfect for cooking and had a long table for us to all sit and eat together. The entertainment and hot tub are brilliant. FYI - The games is not insulated so we did have to wear coats, hats, and gloves to enjoy as bitterly cold. The towels provided are medium size and there is no toiletries in the bathroom apart from hand wash so bring your own.
