Sian is an amazing and friendly host who makes sure all her guests are comfortable and happy at the Snuggery. Digby and the kitties are so loveable and special to have over for a vist. The Snuggery is beautiful and has so much character, it's a charming cottage and Sian and her family have put so much effort into making it a cosy space. We loved our stay here and hope to be back! We arrived at Barn Owl cottage to the site of beautiful mountains, lush countryside and the most peaceful, serene setting. The cottage is set at the top of a large, sprawling lawn, complete with a swing set and fire pit. Just a short walk down a path takes you to a small damn with canoes and a damn side bench set under fruit trees (apples and plums). This is the perfect place to put your feet up and relax, and if you're feeling adventurous, a short trip to hiking trails in the Drakensburg or tubing on a near-by river, this is the perfect getaway. Highly recommended!

My husband and I spent a week here! It was the best time, the place is gorgeous and scenic, quiet and peaceful. Maryke is one of the best hosts I’ve experienced, she’s very thoughtful and communicated promptly throughout our stay. We loved the stay at this cottage and we will definitely be back!

What a gem! Our stay at Woodsong Cottage was more than anticipated - from the wonderful cottage overlooking the river and forested landscape below, walks to the dam, and greeting by curious goats, to nightly visits from a friendly cat and the carefully thought-out interior of the cottage itself, we couldn’t have asked for more. We loved the cozy site and location, with food and destinations not far away. A perfect stay made better by thoughtful and accommodating hosts. We look forward to staying here again the next time we are in the Midlands! Thank you again, Pauline and Ian.

Would highly recommend Celtis Cottage. The house is set on a tranquil hilltop with a striking view of Bellpark dam and the Drakensberg mountains. It is in an excellent location for day-hikes, with Blue Grotto, the Sphinx and Monks Cowl being rather close by. The house is well-equipped and has everything you need. I happen to be one of those people who bring their own pans, spatulas, sponges, cloths, knives and dish liquid. I did not need to take out any of my things, since the kitchen had everything we required and everything was in great condition. The house was clean and such a joy to spend time in. Compliments to the sophisticated decor and furnishings. Helen is the most gracious and kind host, and I am sure Celtis Cottage will see us again in the future.

Debbie is such a sweet and thoughtful host, her place had fruits,juice,milk,good coffee,cereal, chocolate, that alone showed what kind of person she is we felt right at home. Her place is really peaceful, safe and cosy also close to a lot of amenities in the area.
