Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Elgin County

Incredible host. The house was the cutest thing and we felt cozy all the time there. She helped us through all the process and was always available when we needed. The city is also gorgeous. We definitely want to come back in the future to relive this incredible experience.

Rachel’s place was one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at. The bedrooms were a nice size with comfortable beds, the kitchen is well stocked, and the layout of the living area is so open, making it easy to socialize while cooking. The view from the massive windows in the living room and upstairs bedroom is beautiful, and the tub in the main floor bathroom was definitely a highlight as well! One thing to note if travelling with little kids or early/light sleepers is that the Murphy bedroom is right off the main living area and the King bedroom has a loft-style entrance (i.e. no door) so noise carries upstairs. Definitely wouldn’t dissuade us from coming back though as the property and host are great!

Tyler & Chelsea were extremely communicative & pro-active. They checked-in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed & were enjoying our stay. Fantastic hosts all around! The cottage is cozy, a short walk to downtown, the beach and everything Port Stanley has to offer. Plenty of space for a family and a lovely backyard. 10/10.

Mitchell Heights is a property with charm and character. It has been thoughtfully set up. They have pretty much all the amenities one might need in a home away from home. It worked very nicely for us as a large family reunion spot because each family had its own suite with washroom and kitchen. The deck and larger suite served as our common areas / hang out spots. Erie Rest beach is a short walk away (7-8 mins). Downtown Port Stanley - Main Beach, Little Beach, Port Stanley Terminal Rail, etc - is a short drive away. Having said that, Mitchell Heights is super quiet and calm compared to the relatively busy downtown area so it worked really nicely for us. Last but not the least, we must mention how the communication with the hosts was on point... most of all we appreciated their inputs and suggestions on places to eat and things to do in the area. Hope to be back at Mitchell Heights sooner than later!

Susan was the best Host we ever had and her place was the best prepared and Cleanest we have ever had! She gave us places to visit, eat and even the color of the white paint she used inside as my wife wants to copy it was so beautiful and clean ! Thank you Susan, if we get back that way we will definitely be looking you and you place up again!

Had a great stay. The house is perfect, had everything and was super clean. The house is so cozy and charming, will definitely recommend this Air BNB to anyone!

We hope to come back! It was a great place for our family and our dog. It was exactly as described and accommodated us well. We were there in the winter but would like to visit in the summer to take advantage of the huge backyard and the beach close by.

Vince was very responsive he agreed to a late check out for me which made my experience even better. The pictures don’t do this place justice it is beautiful it’s has a very homey feeling

Can’t say enough great things about our stay at the ‘Bridgeway’ in Port Stanley. Our hosts offered clear entry instructions, informative list of local things to do, and provided all the comforts of home. Thankful for the cleanliness and the location! A great, safe place to stay. Thank you again.

Kind, helpful and lovely host located on a beautiful property that we can’t wait to stay at again when the weather is warmer and the covered pool is open for the season! The indoor space is SOOOO original and unique and has everything you could need and more for a successful night away! The property is SOOO lovely and peaceful even on such a blistering cold night.
