Vacation rentals in El Rodeo

A peaceful oasis located a quick tuktuk ride from Panajachel. Matched the photos and description perfectly, and acted as a great home base for exploring the towns around Lake Atitlan. The terrace & hot tub were a lovely oasis, especially during sunrise and sunset. The owner coordinated a tuktuk transfer for us from Panajachel, then met us for check-in. They set up a few more for us during our stay, but we also found it quite easy once we were situated to hail one ourselves. We felt safe walking to Pana and Santa Caterina Palopó during the daytime, and took a tuktuk to the Pana ferry to visit San Pedro, San Juan and San Marco.

A beautiful place to get away from the crowds. The private beach made the difference. The view to the volcano and lake was unmatched. Definitely a place to stay again.

Joshua’s home was a paradise getaway. The views of Lake Atitlan from almost every angle were captivating. The architecture of the villa was an art of its own. The house manager & his son were incredibly helpful, gracious, & much appreciated in every way! & what a lovely experience it was to be boat taxied into town and back. Beds were comfortable, home was clean, and kitchen came equipped with anything you could need. We hope to return at some point, a definite recommend.

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location. Very quiet but only a few minutes from the centre of Antigua with all the restaurants and cafes. Hosts were really communicative and accommodating when our arrival was delayed. A great stay.

Great location, ease of transportation, safe, clean, and I felt right at home. The view is absolutely amazing.

The house is very beautiful. A lovely design and filled with beautiful touches and artwork. An amazing view off the veranda, and the gardens are relaxing and full of birds. We all enjoyed the clean pool very much too. Overall it was an amazing place to relax and recharge. There is a walk up to the local village of Santa Clara or tuk tuks to take you up the hill, and the village has a produce market on Saturdays. We also recommend CECAP for great meals with the best view, as well as fair trade traditional handicrafts. It was easy to get a boat at the public dock. It’s probably easiest to arrange your own driver and boat to the private dock as then it’s easy to contact them if they do not turn up or know where to go (problems we had through no fault of the host). Definitely shop in Pana as the shops are very small in Santa Clara. Be aware it was hazy every day for 6 days and apparently this is common in April (or other months too?) because of cane burning. A quick plan … we needed a place to stay … was wonderful to find it .. beautiful place… couldn’t stay long enough, but we enjoyed it

We have stayed at some really nice Airbnbs in the past, but this place exceeded our expectations in every way. The grounds, the house and the staff are absolutely incredible. We are already looking at dates to book another dedicated trip to this house. If the house is available for your travel dates, consider yourself lucky. I'm afraid the secret is out!
