Apartment vacation rentals in El Portal

Our family of 3 stayed here for two nights for a visit to Yosemite. The place is perfect! it's only about 15 minutes to tunnel view, and 20 minutes to the valley floor. The Airbnb is very spacious, and has all the necessary amenities. They even included a bottle of wine, snacks, hot chocolate, and a coffee bar. There's a huge balcony with a barbecue where we hung out in the morning, and grilled steaks in the evening. I highly recommend booking this place for your next visit to Yosemite.

One of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had! Alexey's place was perfect and he was an excellent host that was always quick to reply. The unit's amenities were top notch and the mattress was the most comfortable mattress of any Airbnb or hotel we've ever stayed. The fireplace heated up the unit very quickly and the heater kept it very warm throughout the night. The breakfast foods provided were perfect for us to be able to pack up and take on our hikes and consisted of yogurt, cheese, boiled eggs, bagels, muffins and more! Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood located about 30 mins out of Yosemite Valley. Oh and the huge 65" smart TV was awesome too! Would happily stay here again!

It's a great location very close to all the trails and main attractions. I had a very short stay and the weather wasn't extremely cold but they do only have a portable heater available. It was fairly clean, one pillow case had a stain on it. Otherwise great little place for a short stay .

Had a wonderful stay! Was just passing through for one night so was just what I needed. Juan and Sandra were wonderful to work with and the bed is super comfy! Was nice to have a private bathroom as well! Would definitely stay again!

Great place ideal to visit Yosemite. It is closed to many amenities. Ann is very responsive.

One of the best Air Bnb’s I’ve stayed in! Clean, beautiful home and had so much to offer. Won’t ever forget this beautiful place :) Very close to the entrance of the park as well! About an hour to an hour and a half to Yosemite village in the park

great place to stay if you are heading to Yosemite...convenient location next to restaurants and supplies...easy access to the park and great value overall. Jigna was a great host. We would certainly stay again on our next trip to Yosemite!

We stayed for 2 nights skiing in the China Peak Resort. It is a good choice to stay here especially when you book the hotel the last minutes. 55 mins drive away is acceptable, and the house/apartment Joel host makes you feel home.

We stayed in the apartment to visit the Yosemite National Park and had a really great time! Jess is a very kind and helpful host. When we arrived (it was during the heat wave), the apartment was already cooled down and cleaned up. The kitchen was fully equipped, which we found very convenient. AC worked perfectly. The apartment was spacious and exceptionally clean. On the table we found useful materials from the Yosemite National Park, including a detailed map. For people who don't mind driving, Jamestown is a very good and affordable base for trips to Yosemite. We also enjoyed the Railtown 1897 State Historic Park, located within the walking distance from the apartment. And the board games, of course!

The host is great! The location is perfectly close to town and tucked away. 30 minutes from the Wowana entrance to Yosemite, 1.5 hours into Yosemite valley. We have stayed here 4 times over the past two years and the hosts do listen to their guests suggestions. We will be staying here again.

Carl & Jennifer place was very nice and clean. Also had a grill and hot tub which was a plus for us. Spot was about 10mins away from grocery stores and restaurants. I will definitely be staying here next time I visit Yosemite.

Great stay! We mad a spontaneous trek to Bass Lake and loved it. The hot tub is very private and has a lovely view. Perfect for a relaxing soak and a great way to end and start a day.

Lyalla is a great host, she is responsive and very friendly. The studio is perfect for a couple. It was cozy and homey. The area is very quiet and you get your own covered parking spot. The studio has everything you need from kitchen to bathroom to closet. I would recommend this place and will be back if we ever need to stay in the area again.

Very cozy and modern place. It was perfect for a relaxing vacation and exciting area to explore. Always felt able to ask for help and both cities were drivable distance. Very clean house and well put together essentials. Hot tub was amazing addition to the place. Will definitely be staying again.

I loved. The parking was a bit scary for me only due to my 88 Lincoln town car. Laugh out loud. But I loved it

When we first arrived, Shannon came out to introduce herself and let us know that the hot tub had just been repaired and wasn’t hot yet. Sitting in the hot tub the following day after hiking all day and listening to the river was incredible. We brought our 2 cats and our pup and they all had a great time. Quite a few pet friendly restaurants nearby.
