Vacation rentals in Eglingham

We had a lovely couple of day's stay in John's beautiful cottage. John phoned to make sure we had received the key code and to see if we had any questions. The cottage is in a superb position in the village with stunning views of the castle, the Farne islands and the harbour from the kitchen, the garden and from both bedrooms. The cottage is very well-equipped for being self-catering if you do not want to eat out at the lovely pub next door! You can park the car right outside and charge it ( if it is electric). Therefore, once you have arrived you can go on lovely walks around the island and, if you time it right with the tides, you can be there when the island is cut off, all the day-trippers have gone, and it is so peaceful. Lisa and Gavin are very nice people. They went above and beyond to accommodate my family and ensure my dad could be comfortable. This is a very nice place to stay and highly recommend.

A perfect cottage for our weekend away in Warkworth. The cottage was well equipped and the master bedroom was spacious enough for a travel cot without feeling at all cramped. The bath (and lovely bubble bath!) was a huge plus point as were the goodies we were left on arrival. Check in and house workings - heating, lights etc, very easy to navigate. Grace couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful in the lead up to our stay. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had a fantastic stay is Sandy Pebbles. This cosy, quirky cottage was in a great location, close to the local high street, pubs, restaurants and the marina/harbour. Kerry sent lots of local recommendations, places to visit, eat and drink. The cottage was clean, welcoming and we loved our arrival treats. Beds very comfortable. Thank you Kerry, we would love to revisit at some point. 😊

Liz was very helpful from the beginning, from giving clear instructions to lovely recommendations. The house was located in a very quiet beautiful area with not much around within 10 miles, which was exactly what we needed. we felt comfortable and cozy in the house, we loved setting up the fire in the living room and had a nice family time playing games. we drove around the area and we saw some beautiful places and ate amazing food. We definitely recommend the place if you are looking for some quite time away from the business of the big city. thank you Liz and HAPPY NEW YEAR. xx Ioana and family

Words cannot describe how amazing Simone is and her gorgeous retreat. I took my Dad away for a little trip away as he is rather poorly and the original place I had booked was appalling! So bad I refused to stay. Thinking I'd have to take my Dad back home as finding somewhere suitable for his needs is slim picking, never mind on an August Friday night at 6pm, last weekend of the summer holidays. Nevertheless, after refusing to give up I found this gem, both in Simone and her retreat. Just what we needed . Simone went above and beyond from the second I placed the booking, she rang me straight away, said she would met us there, she had the retreat warming through for us, lights on and made us feel absolutely at home. So much so I had to give her a hug. The whole experience from start to finish was 10 star. The place is beautiful, the views are outstanding, area is perfect. My Dad is dying to go back already. And I can't wait to take him. See you soon x

Just back from a couple of nights at The Great Escape and feel as thoughtful gh we've been away for a week. Very relaxing space , friendly little pub on site. Amusements was just enough to keep the kids entertained without being over the top and taking away from the feel of the place . Cracking dark skies for star viewing in the hottub. Would definitely return.

Lovely weekend! Absolutely loved the decking and hot tub area and watching the sunrise in the morning! Had a lovely long walk to explore the surrounding areas and we were very impressed! Hopefully be back again soon!

Carolyn is the best Airbnb host I have ever had. She responded in record time to every message. She thought of everything her guests might need. Her cottage is very well-equipped and super-comfortable. Amble is a wonderful place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return
