Lovely double bedroom near the sea

We offer a lovely room with a super comfy king size bed. Share breakfast with the family or at your leisure - we will try and tempt you with the delights of porridge and maybe even kippers if you are feeling adventurous although cornflakes and toast are also readily available! We are a family of 5 - a forester, marine biologist and 3 children aged 2,5 and 8. Light floods through large windows of our spacious and high-ceiling top floor apartment in a traditional Victorian building. Comfortably furnished and oak-floored throughout, the apartment is warmed by both central heating and a Swedish wood-burning stove. The apartment is located in Portobello neighbourhood, 5 minutes walk from an expansive stretch of sandy beach. The beach promenade boasts popular cafes and lovely tradition pubs. Portobello is known for its quirky residential lanes and independent shops - butcher, fishmonger, grocers, sweet and craft shops. It is a safe family area which has traditionally been a seaside holiday resort in the summer months. Very frequent buses take 30 minutes to reach the historic city centre with its castle, palace, museums, galleries, ghost tours, cashmere and whisky. But its always nice to come home - to the neighbourhood where the sky meets the sea.

This stylish place is close to most anywhere you wish to walk to in Edinburgh. 15 min walk to West end of Princess Street Jhonny Walker corner ,or 40 min to the East End of Princess Street . My house sits in the secluded greenery, just past the West end ,and situated on top of Dean Village . Edinburgh Sportsclub is 3 min walk away. Gallery of Modern Art 1 &2 ,is 2 min walk away . This fully refurbished stylish place is close to must-see destinations. 5min journey to City Centre. Located at West Edinburgh, it's very close to the Zoo, Murrayfield Stadium and the Edinburgh Airport. The tram is only 8min walk. It comes every 7min and can take you to City Centre, to Leith area and to the Airport. The room has king size bed and is ideal for couples and professionals. The house can offer breakfast, coffee and tea. Free parking on street. No pets please. No smoking in house.

Comfortable attic triple room with en suite. Smart TV/DVD, Kettle, refrigerator & microwave in room. Good location for touring and city bypass is only 5 mins away. Direct access to city, airport and train station, bus stops outside house. Supermarket opposite which has a cafe, Free driveway parking available. Continental Breakfast provided in room. Room has sloping ceilings so maybe a problem for tall guests. Room is upstairs so not suitable for young children or disabled

Only 15 - 20 minutes from Edinburgh Airport by car. A beautiful modern family home right next to the Forth Bridges and Dalmeny train station and 20 mins to centre of Edinburgh. An ideal, peaceful spot from which to enjoy Edinburgh at all times but particularly during the Edinburgh Festival and Six Nations. A great starting and finishing point for touring (cycling) the North of Scotland. We are 5 minutes from Fife. A simple self-service breakfast (buffet) is provided.

Comfortable room overlooking quiet back garden in quiet, leafy, victorian residential area. Close to Meadows and only 15 mins walk to Queen's Hall, George Square. Good bus routes close by. Bathroom with shower over bath. Generous continental breakfast with croissant, compote, fruit, yoghurt, toast, homemade marmalade and granola, cereal, real coffee and teas.
