Waterfront vacation rentals in East Sussex

The entrance hall stairs and did not impress but upstairs and into the apartment was excellent, light, airy and clean. The road the apartment is on is full of fantastic cafes and restaurants and a really short walk to the seafront. I would not want to have four people staying in this space (for example there is only a 2-seater sofa and one additional chair in the living room) but for two it was very comfortable.

Wonderful light and airy apartment with views of the pier and breath taking sunsets. Perfect position for a few days exploring Brighton - lots of lovely touches in the flat like lots of coffee pods, shampoo etc in the showers - all messages responded to very promptly. Would highly recommend.

We loved staying at Richard and Emma’s place. The view is stunning and the apartment is beautiful. The hosts were so helpful and even allowed us to pick up the keys and check in early. Would 100% recommend!

Lovely centrally located apartment Wendy is a great host, who provided all the information required without having to ask. We had enquired about a thicker duvet on one of the nights, and Wendy had her housekeeper deliver brand new linen the following morning which was greatly appreciated! Would definitely book again, and recommend to all visiting Hastings

Really enjoyed our four nights’ stay in this beautiful apartment with fabulous views of the marina. It is a great base for exploring Brighton and being a twenty or so minutes’ walk from the centre, is very peaceful and private. Buses run regularly from the marina for when the weather is inclement. Emma and Andrew are very generous hosts, allowing our daughter and her partner to check in early after their flight from France. They left us a bottle of Prosecco as a welcome gift and were keen to know we had settled in. They were responsive and communicative at all times and made us feel very welcome. With two dedicated parking spaces and three en suite bathrooms , one of which is newly installed off the main bedroom, we would highly recommend this property.

Quiet and private but close enough to the Marina or the City when we needed to be out and about. One of the best places to stay! Felt so at home ! Relaxed and comfortable! Close enough to walk to everything but out the way enough to still be extremely peaceful! Would highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay over Christmas. On arrival we had Prosecco and chocolate which was a very thoughtful touch. Rebecca’s house is fun and quirky, it has a very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds with lovely clean linen and fluffy towels, there were even lots of fun board games. It is a beautiful location and we would love to go back in the summer.

We were looking for a special home to celebrate the festive period with friends and this house surpassed all our expectations. From the easy check in to the stunning views and the incredible interiors, everything has been considered for guest comfort and this is a truly luxurious experience. Spotlessly clean, high quality linens, extremely comfortable beds, we felt like we were in a 5 star hotel but with so much more privacy. We were also so impressed by all the useful kitchen utensils and furnishings. We didn’t need to bring anything ourselves other than food. The only small suggestion would be to add shampoo and shower gel. They have hand wash all supplied and lots of towels for beach and home. We loved it so much and created very special memories despite staying in the middle of a storm - the house was our haven of warmth, fun and laughter. We cannot recommend this home enough! Perfect location for a long weekend stay, great house for large family group, the house has everything you could need for a large group and for dinning in. It is close to the beach and all the amenities and also to the town for restaurants. We all had a great stay and would definitely return. Thank you

Beautiful house which opens up right onto the beach. The outside area is great and the view from the house are amazing. Really nice house inside as well.

Our first Airbnb stay and what a little find (shouldn’t be tell you really), beautiful outlook, lovely and homely, appreciative of the extras gifted 🤗, comfy beds, super clean kitchen and bathrooms, awesome communication, super quiet and could have sat and looked at the view forever!, we wanted to dip a toe and eat chips, both of which we did (even in the mids of a freezing few days!), will return without hesitation!

The house was great for a short stay for five of us. Andrea accommodated us at short notice and the house was in pristine condition. We enjoyed catching the buses into Brighton instead of stressful driving and parking. Beach walks nearby are just breath taking. The Lido serves an excellent breakfast

A really enjoyable short stay here and we wish we could have stayed lonver. The flat is lovely, really well maintained, had everything we needed and so convenient for all the amenities of the Marina, plus only a short bus ride from the centre of Brighton. Thank you Mark and Vicky!

Beautiful flat with amazing views - just like the photos. The flat was clean, warm and spacious, we had a lovely couple of days overlooking the sea with everything we needed within walking distance.

I had the pleasure of staying in Susan’s apartment for 5 nights and enjoyed everything about it. Impeccably clean throughout you’d think you were the first to ever stay there!! Only used the top floor bedroom which was so lovely, with a sea view and sounds of the waves, it was spacious, comfortable and cosy. Both bathrooms pristine and great water pressure. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. Such attention to detail throughout. But the icing on the cake is THAT VIEW and the balcony, what a joy, whatever the weather!! You’d never be bored. The information pack was great, with instructions for all the appliances, local information and restaurants etc. Parking was never a problem. Also, any messages or queries I had were quickly replied to. I would definitely love to stay again, particularly during the summer months. Thank you Susan.

Stayed for 3 weeks for work, was a great stay and very comfortable. Great hosts, really kind and helpful. Will be back again if works brings us up to the area!

Amazing place! We really enjoyed staying here. Lauren was super warm and helpful about our request, and the apartment was cozy and well decorated. We also had a lot of fun with the record collections and board games. Definitely would recommend:D
