Family-friendly vacation rentals in East End

We had a great stay in this studio condo. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the necessary appliances for a long-term stay. That was a bit flatter than what we would have liked, but everything else was great.

Our family of 5 had an amazing stay at the Ritz Club - St Thomas. I would highly recommend it!

a little tough to find in the rain and dark, but the location is excellent and it's the end unit on the beach next to the restaurant. the convenience and proximity to the east end goings on was excellent. theres also a bunch of snorkeling equipment, bug spray, sunscreen , etc thats left from other guests. again, super handy.

That was a great stay, nice views, and very close to beach. Note that it is a murphy bed / pull down bed.

What can I say! Gail and Curlson have SUCH a beautiful home. It was so wonderful waking up to those gorgeous views every morning. They both were so helpful and quickly responded to any question or concern I had. They provided anything and everything you could even think about needing. Like some of the reviews mention, you should rent a vehicle, something with AWD/4WD so it’s easier to get up those steep hills. Once you get the hang of it, it’s super easy to find your way back. And it’s only 5 minutes from Red Hook. Definitely cannot recommend staying here enough. You won’t regret it!

The Condo is beautiful and well appointed and the setting was superb! We travelled to different beaches each day and then spent the later afternoons on Cowpet Bay which was a nice break from the crowds.

I know this is a recurring theme in the reviews, but wow, what an incredible location to spend a vacation week! The ocean and island views are spectacular from almost every location of this property, including walking in! It was kind of jaw-dropping and felt so luxurious! We loved having 3 updated, air-conditioned, en-suite king bedrooms, so all members of our family had space and privacy. The house is thoroughly equipped with everything you need inside and out. We loved having beach chairs and coolers, so we could easily explore various beaches in both St. Thomas and St. John. The 5-10 minute drive to Red Hook for restaurants and the car ferry made moving between the islands so convenient! The pool and pool deck were a beautiful place to soak in the rays, but we most loved grilling dinner and having cocktails on the top deck, enjoying warm evenings and star-lit soaks in the hot tub. If you get a chance to stay here, don't hesitate! We hope to be back!

Marvin's place was awesome! He was super responsive, always there if we had questions. I wish every Airbnb was like his. He helped us tons, and it really felt like home. He even left us fresh fruit and local goodies – such a nice touch! Definitely recommend it. The view was amazing every morning too. Thanks for everything!

I booked Jon's seaside villa for mine and my wife's 10th anniversary, my 50th birthday and my daughter's 8th birthday almost a year ago and we couldn't wait for the arrival day. It was totally worth the wait. After a 3 hour Delta delay out of Atlanta, we got to the island late with our initial plans blown up. After getting off at the ferry dock with all of our luggage, we were tired, hungry and mentally shot. We started walking to the cabin with all of our bags and realized that was a mistake. I texted Jon to see if he could help. He quickly responded and he and Nancy came to our rescue. Won't get into the details, but they swooped in and quickly made us feel like friends. Something we'll never forget. Now for the villa. Words can't describe the beauty your eyes see from inside the house. Your front lawn is the Caribbean Sea. Open the sliding glass doors and you hear nothing but waves crashing. And yes, the pictures on the listing are very accurate. Can't wait to go back!!!

This place is amazing!!! Book it! Chris is great, communicating and staying in touch was fast answering any questions we had. Beach is an easy 7min walk. There are beach chairs available but since we didn't rent a car, we didn't use them but they are there. We rented chairs on the beach, $15 each. There is also a cooler (one big and one over the shoulder carry), we used that since that was easy to carry on our walk. Other beach essentials are also provided so was a huge plus for us. AC worked great no issues with keeping the place cool, the bed was very comfortable. Full kitchen which I was happy some of the "extra" people leave behind are left or just provided....condiments, salt, pepper, coffee filters, etc. since grocery's can be pricey. Cabs are pretty easy to get/find. Pool was great, I enjoyed the floaty since I just wanted to float while my husband did swim. 100% want to come back and will stay here again!!

This place is 100% where you want to stay if you want a truly peaceful island get away! We enjoyed the open air set up of the property, morning and evening costal mountain winds were phenomenal. (Our April stay, the multiple mini split systems weren’t needed) We were able to watch deer, iguanas and all kinds of birds on the wrap around deck. Which also doubled as a great safe and secure play area for our kids. Mike was very friendly and responded quickly to all of our questions/needs! If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful island getaway, this property is where you need to stay.

Bianca’s place is so much more than described. Impecable, confortable and modern. The only table we didn’t use was the indoor dinning table. The bathrooms are clean and beautiful. We cooked most of the time and everything we needed was there . Worth every penny. You wake up and go to sleep to soft waves on the beach. Best snorkeling in the entire island as far as I’m concerned. Absolutely loved it there !

This place was awesome. Beautiful views of Cruz Bay and the surrounding islands (for some reason they don’t have any pics of the views in the posting, which they should update!). Very short 5 min drive to the grocery store and all the restaurants and bars downtown. Very short drive to all the incredible north shore beaches. Pool is pretty small but the views from the pool area were great.

Gorgeous views and great island feel nestled into the hill! Barb was super accommodating and helpful, definitely and 5 star stay!

Fantastic location- just a short walk to Cruz Bay! Steven was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Nothing fancy, but the place is clean and a good value for the price. The kitchen is well equipped. Beach towels are provided which is a nice touch.

Two words, the view, the view, the view. First floor walk out to the beach was beautiful and convenient. The beach gets kinda crowded but not enough to care really. Loved every minute of our stay.

My family and I absolutely loved staying at Kim's place. My youngest daughter really loved the loft because it made her feel like a princess! The location is fantastic, close to Secret Harbor which we love going to. The ocean view at the condo is very beautiful with a wonderful island breeze on the large patio. I loved the rattan furniture and the spiral staircase. The amenities were wonderful, and we felt like it had everything we needed. We would love to stay again in the future!

The location of this condo is so perfect!!! You are literally steps away from a one stop beach that has rentals for jet skis/parasailing/a small marina to rent boats/kayaks really anything you need. They have food and drinks at the amazing beach side bar, plus coffee and ice cream at the beach buzz…I’m so happy I found this gem, the host was amazing my only regret is not staying longer!! Also if I could do the trip over I would rent a car(the prices for taxis haves increased since 2022 by nearly 2 times what the taxi commission says is the legal charge for 2022)..the only upside was we were on the safari route which I used and liked a lot(just need to add an extra hour buffer time in case it’s running slow like on cruise ship days).. If you just have a back pack then you can walk from airport to the safari bus stop(if you plan on just going to Red Hook/Coki Beach/Sapphire…I would avoid taxis at all cost on my next trip(they are overpriced and rude on this island)

Beautiful studio apartment in a great location. Mary communicated well and the unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you are looking for a relaxing spot to hang out with a gorgeous view, beaches and food nearby, Sapphire is it!

Great location, clean, great view, on the bus line which is only $2. Great that restaurant and pool right downstairs. Everyone was very friendly!

Lourdes was a great host, extremely communicative. The location was perfect, walkable to Sapphire beach in minutes. The unit was clean and large enough for our group of 3. Would stay here again.

This was the perfect place for our visit to the islands. Only a few minutes walk to Sapphire Beach and a one-minute ride to Red Hook. This villa checked my top 4 boxes - quiet - comfortable bed - AC works great - Refrigerator works great - Property owner was very responsive when we had issues (swimming pool needed attention at times) We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, and this one is certainly one of the better ones overall. We would definitely rent this place again.
