Vacation rentals with a fireplace in East Devon District

Jo was an excellent host! Beautiful little cottage, perfect! with everything we needed for the stay. Jo lit the fire ready for our arrival, can’t recommend enough! Thanks Jo, it was a wonderful stay.

Fairfield House was the perfect house for a Christmas get together for our two families. There was plenty of space for 11 adults. The large dining room table and spacious lounge worked well for dinners and game playing & the generous welcome pack was much appreciated as was the hot tub. A short walk to the shops and pubs in Williton and a 5 minute drive to Watchet. Thanks David & Shruti for a great few days away.

We had a great stay. The facilities are smashing especially the pool. Lots of space to sit and lounge. Lots of things to amuse young people. Kitchen and dining excellent for 10 people and well equipped. Big bedrooms (not big beds!) and bathrooms very clean and good to use. Very warm (February outside) and good technology. Plenty of parking - we had four cars. And the dogs were happy and safe in a well enclosed garden. Host was very good at communicating and very accommodating. He let us stay for a late checkout so we had a cooked breakfast ahead of our long journey. Thank you. The house is on a main road and traffic is noticeable especially if windows are open. Whilst the house is spacious and well equipped it feels a little tired in places and doesn't live up to the luxurious label. But it's great for an extended family to enjoy.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Lovely house, very well equipped and lots of nice little touches, like great coffee, wood burner ready to light and nice bathroom products. Our dogs were immediately at home, the garden is a great size. Great clear instructions for arrival and departure. The location is beautiful, superb views and incredibly quiet and private. Mo is a superb host. We'll definitely be back.

Lyn's bungalow was beautiful, cosy and pristine. The kitchen and bathroom was fully stocked with anything we could need, we felt very looked after. The wood burner was also so much fun, it kept us toasty and cosy during our entire stay. Lyn was always there to answer any questions or requests we had - we definitely recommend this as a place to stay!

Throughout the whole process, Kristin was an excellent host! Helpful and prompt before booking, welcoming and informative when checking in, a beautifully presented property that was worth the costs. Really looking forward to my next stay booked in the coming weeks.

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . My husband and I had a great time here. Walking distance to all local shops and restaurants on the high street. The high street is full of great shops and some incredible places to eat (lots of Michelin star restaurants). The cottage was cosy, clean and luxurious. We could not have asked for a better stay! So relaxing. We also visited the Newt on Saturday for lunch. It is only a 9 min drive from the cottage. Thanks Steve for a lovely stay. We will be back.

We were moving out of a long-term rental and needed a place to stay for a few nights. William’s place was perfect as it was just one street away from our rental flat and it also had plenty of space for us to spread out. We had stayed at this same unit over Christmas a couple of years earlier and liked it very much - hence booking again. The unit is very well appointed and equipped. It’s in a great location, just a street away from The Hoe, plus being a very easy to walk to theatres, restaurant, shops, and The Barbican. William is a great host with excellent communication. All questions were answered quickly and issues resolved in a timely fashion. We have learned that William manages other properties in Cornwall and Devon, so will certainly book again in one of his units for our future mini breaks.

The apartment is beautifully decorated, modern and clean with everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped and has all the essentials. The bed is super comfy and big aswell! Location is also great as it’s only a short walk into the centre but is nice and quiet at night and has scenic views from the kitchen windows. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Bath and would stay again!

Dan and Natty were great hosts. Their place was amazing, very clean and homey! We really enjoyed our stay, especially as the location is very convenient-around 5 minutes walk to everything. Everything they stated on the website aligned with our stay. Overall, highly recommend this place😊

We absolutely loved our stay at Helen‘s place. She was helpful, kind, and if I ever needed to text, responded right away. It is located in the best spot to walk absolutely everywhere and the flat itself is clean and really well designed. We felt at home instantly, caught up on work and managed to go out, a lot. We had the best time and will be back!

What an absolute gem of an Airbnb! One the most beautiful places we’ve stayed. A simply stunning apartment, amazing location. The perfect escape for our mummy & daughter night away. The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated. And had everything we could have needed. Super easy to get in to. Amazing communication from the hosts checking we were okay. Cute, cosy and a lovely flat! Everything as described . It was spotless clean, the kitchen had everything one would need. Our favourite feature was the wood burner, it made the atmosphere so romantic, we didn’t want to leave the place! Heated up the whole flat so much too! Sam was very responsive to our queries, provided a lot of information throughout stay. It’s an easy walk down to the town centre, takes about 10 mins - we’re fast walkers. Coming back is up hill, it was fine for us as it was a short walk by beautiful houses. Overall a great stay. Thank you Sam!

A unique set of suites in a very large gorgeous house. There was so much room for our family ranging from 3 to 73! The communal area was used all the time and the bar area was a wonderful bonus. It really became our ‘home’ for the week and we all felt very relaxed. The suites were first rate having everything you could possibly need and provided the ‘bolt hole’ where people had their own space as well. There are so many beaches close by which we visited- Hele, Combe Martin and Woolacombe- great for paddle boarding, kayaking and surfing- we had a busy time! Neil was such a good host providing very quick responses to my many questions in such a friendly way! Would highly recommend this property for a large group. Thank you Neil.

Had a wonderful time. The place felt very secluded with amazing amenities and stunning sea view. Neil was very friendly and helpful too and even left us chocolates and champagne to help us celebrate a special occasion. Would love to stay here again sometime.

This Christmas will go down as one of the best our family has ever had, and this beautiful property played a huge part in that. It’s a very special place—the only problem is that you won’t want to leave at the end! We spent 10 days here with family from Plymouth, Sweden, and France, and the house was perfect. Everyone loved it: the older generation was cozy and comfortable, the teenagers had the freedom to explore town, and we all came together in the evenings for meals and games. The owners went above and beyond to make the house warm, inviting, and festive, with lovely Christmas treats that everyone appreciated. The ground floor has a spacious living room with a lovely log fire, a fully equipped kitchen with an island that opens onto the dining room, and a WC with a hand basin. Upstairs, there are four beautiful bedrooms, a spotless bathroom with a shower and bath, and another WC. Parking is easy right outside. Thanks to Joanna and Mike for creating so many treasured memories!

We had the most amazing time away as a family for Christmas. The place was perfect for our youngest member of the family under 1 years old, all the way to our grandparents. Everyone felt at home, with space to relax on their own and together. The walks around the estate were perfect for the mornings and the location was perfect for a short drive to the local towns and beaches. Thank you Emilie and all involved! Great house for New Year with a family ranging from 12 weeks to 76 with dogs. Grandparents really appreciated the cottage, which gave them space in very close proximity to the house & younger members of the family.
