Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Duras

Lovely, well equipped gite, situated in a very quiet rural location (car essential). Host was a pleasure to deal with and responded promptly to our correspondence. Would recommend highly.

We had a lovely stay at Josse gite. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. The cottage was clear, tidy and adequately equipped. Great to have a pool too. A beautiful part of the world. Very highly recommended.

Odette, François's wife, received us kindly and made us feel right at home. She made sure we were able to go into relax mode right away. We also got tips on what we could possibly do and because we were in transit, which we could also do better somewhere else. François and Odette came to check several times during our stay whether everything was to your liking, so we also chatted cozily. Very hospitable people and a top studio (which will apparently also be renovated). In the morning we left at 8am and they were ready to wave us out. Definitely recommended!

The apartment is beautiful, great location with a lovely view of the river. Well equipped, extremely tastefully decorated. The host is very quick to respond and was very accommodating. We would highly recommend.

The apartment and the house are very lovingly renovated and carefully modernized, so that medieval charm and high comfort combine. The garden is large and beautiful, the location perfect. Françoise was very friendly and helpful on arrival (she also speaks very good German) and check-out was straightforward. All in all a great experience, we would have liked to have stayed a long time and enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of the place!

Very short stay as part of a training, but still much appreciated. Listing with quality amenities and thoughtfully appointed. What to do is also left available, it's nice, as well as the little touches of the owners. Interesting exchanges with Jean-Paul about village life and nearby birds. A "nature" break from hosts who respect it. Don't hesitate!

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is gorgeous and is a lot bigger than what we were expecting. Anabel has decorated it beautifully and it has everything that you would need. Great location too with cafes and shops almost on the doorstep. I would highly recommend this listing.

The apartment is right in the middle of a beautiful village, and everything you could want is just steps away. There are several different markets that take place in the square that the apartment looks out over. The flat is large and well-equipped, but the kitchen stands out. It is large and has every kind of kitchen gadget that you can imagine. There are many many things to do and see in the village and within thirty or forty minutes drive. It is really an ideal location.

We were welcomed by Emilie's parents; very charming hosts 😊 We had a family weekend, on the occasion of my son's birthday and, in addition to a persistent boiler problem, beyond the control of the owners, these 2 days were very pleasant! The sun was at the rendezvous, it embellished the already beautiful places, both through landscaped maintenance and interior design! All services such as billiards, foosball, reading nook, bocce court (superbly lit🤩)are as described. Absolutely everything was together so we could create new memories as a family 🥰Thank you for allowing us to extend this moment a little bit thanks to a late delay. Congratulations to Emilie and her parents for completing the project of this villa; beautiful work 👏 For the hot tub ... we'll be back😉

Elaine’s place was perfect for us as a group of 12 people - location was great, close to St Emilion and all the vineyards, house was beautiful, with a large backyard and all amenities needed for a large group. Elaine was proactive and very responsive before and during our stay, would definitely recommend!

We had a perfect stay at this place! Everything was spotlessly clean and well-stocked, with special attention to detail to make us feel at home. We particularly appreciated David's special touches, as well as the availability of essentials upon arrival, a real plus! David is a warm, welcoming host and always available to meet our needs. The photos sell this place short - the house is spacious and lovely, and the surroundings are incredible. Very private and secluded and peaceful. Philippe was super responsive and easy to deal with and Kiwi was a delight!

We had a wonderful week in Stéphanie and Cyril's lovely property. We were very well hosted by Lisa, a beautiful welcome basket was offered to us (honey, homemade jam...) and we are lucky to meet Stéphanie and Cyril on the day of our departure, who are beautiful people. And let's not forget Brioche, which is very cuddly. The house is suitable for hosting a family with children. We were 4 adults, and 3 children including a 3-month-old baby. Everyone had their own sleeping area, with bathrooms, very beautiful living room, tastefully decorated, beautiful space outside for meals, well-equipped kitchen. The pool area invites you to relax with the pretty bar. Area is beautiful. All the ingredients were there for us to have a lovely family vacation. We recommend this rental 200%.

Pierre is very welcoming and friendly... he even lit a fireplace and put on music for our arrival... very charming touches... I recommend this cottage... very clean, functional and quiet...

The stay went very well. The estate is beautiful and we enjoyed the pool and barbecue!

great house, much bigger inside than we can think from the photos. environment also even more beautiful than in the photos, total calm, huge pine trees in the garden and a lot of trees and vegetation that give the impression of being really elsewhere and far from everything. super swimming pool, large wooden terrace very nice and convenient to settle in at any time of the day. pretty and comfortable outdoor furniture. firm and perfect bedding as far as we are concerned (the beds are 140). bathroom/nickel toilet at the bottom and at the top. everything is spacious and bright, the kitchen is well equipped and organized. celine is very welcoming and responsive and gives useful information for the surroundings. we recommend it without hesitation. thank you!
