Really nice place felt at home

We loved the property. Very spacious and well equipped, especially the kitchen. It was a nice touch having the Christmas tree! We also loved the location and enjoyed the tranquility of where the property is located. Hayley was responsive responding to questions and would love to stay again sometime!

We, a family of five, enjoyed wonderful four nights in the lovely House on the Hill which was exactly as described. A great plus was the tennis court, that was very well received by our children. Walking the dog was a great experience. We used the farm cottage to explore Scottish Borders, Northumberland and of course Edinburgh. We would certainly come back and highly recommend this lovely place!

We had a great stay at the Lodge! The hosts were super responsive throughout our visit which was appreciated as I was there alone with my two young girls. There were lots of little treats waiting for us on arrival which was a lovely touch! The place was spotless and has been decorated beautifully. It had everything we needed-even spare toothbrushes! The beds were very comfy and the linens were all high quality which is something I really value in an Airbnb. Great location for access to the university and a short walk from the Medowpark Hotel. We’ll definitely be back!

We all thoroughly enjoyed being in the house. It is spacious and extremely well equipped. Perfect location for the golf, shops, restaurants etc. Everything worked well and communication was excellent. Thoroughly recommend and we would all return in a heartbeat.

We were three couples in our 50s /60s away for a long weekend. House was a great entertaining house for sitting in the evening having a drink and listening to music. But great location for a day out to St Andrews, a coastal walk down to Pittenweem or just coming out in Anstruther. House was fab, fantastic rainfall shower in upstairs bathroom, 3 huge bedrooms and plenty socialising space between the two living rooms/ dining area and patio areas. Would definitely recommend this house.

A perfect stay for a few friends attending a local wedding. Everything clean and tidy, furnished to a high standard. No issues communicating check in details. Would recommend and stay again.

Perfect place to stay for a few days on a budget. About 10min walk from bus stops that led to the city, took about an hour to get into the city from here. Owners always got back with us quickly and were so kind. I reccommend staying here if you want more of a cozy stay away from the city!

Great apartment, comfortable, spacious clean and quiet. Very conveniently located if you want to explore Edinburgh, walking distance from the city centre. Agnes was a great host. Highly recommend.

Have thoroughly enjoyed an incredibly relaxing break at this beautiful cottage. The location is stunning in the heart of nature. Everything was perfect and the hosts could not have been more helpful. I look forward to returning as soon as possible!

Me and my partner had a last minute one night stay. A lovely young man checked us in, he was super friendly and helpful. The lodge is stunning, it is so cosy and has everything you need. It is spotlessly clean too. The hot tub was ready to use when we arrived and it looks out onto beautiful scenery. We will definitely be back and will be recommending to family and friends. Really lovely stay in this perfectly located house in Drymen. Very close to the local amenities which made life incredibly easy with our 1 year old baby. Would definitely stay again when we're next in the area!

Really enjoyed our short stay at Fay's place. Good communication throughout and the place is perfect for a quiet retreat with amazing views. Very well furnished and comfortable, everything you need for a few days exploring the local area.

Lovely old house, perfect place for extended family group to stay. The toys and the pool were loved by the children. Great for local rural walks and feels very much in the countryside despite being close to local towns.

Lovely house. We certainly enjoyed our time. Scott was very reposnsive and great person to deal with. I would surely recommend this place.

Big thank yous to the host for letting us enjoy a family get together at their fantastic house! We all felt right at home, with loads of little extras available to us, besides the standard, expected amenities (like a trully fully equipped kitchen - pots, pans, loads of glasses, plates, cutlery, utensils, the lot!). The house itself was a fantastic place for our 3 families to get together and chat, eat, drink and socialise - we even brought our mini dachshund, he loved it as well. The location was great for lovely walks into Dunkeld, strolls along the river, a short drive away from Pine Cone point and many others. We enjoyed a swim at the nearby Erigmore Leisure Park (5 minute walk away) and the New Year's Day street parade in Pitlochry. Thanks again for your hospitality, highly recommended to anyone looking for a quaint, peaceful break with their families.

Beautiful setting idyllic location

Such a fantastic property in such peaceful surroundings, yet only a short walk to the heart of the city. Can certainly highly recommend Hollybush Cottage, was exactly as described and perfect for our family vacation. The views, the wildlife, the space to enjoy, all made it such a memorable trip for us all. Thanks to Clare for being responsive and providing us with the perfect base.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. It was warm and cosy. The facilities were perfect and the garden very safe for dogs. Very well set up. We would recommend this cottage and would hope to return again one day.
