Ian was a fantastic host. The flat was well-maintained on arrival, and it was clear Ian takes good care of the property. Ian was very responsive and left a very detailed portfolio with instructions for the stay as well as many great recommendations for activities around the city. Robert's flat at The Cooperage in Leith is truely perfect for a single or a couple on a trip to see the beautiful city of Edinburgh. The flat is beautifully decorated with unusual and antique items , and has everything you need for your stay - plus Robert seems to have gone out of his way to think of and provide lots of lovely little extras - snacks/bread/milk on arrival, copipus coffee and tea options, and personal packs of toiletries are a very thoughtful touch. The area itself is so peaceful and picturesque by the harbour area, feels very safe and has plenty of excellent pubs and places to eat as well as great cocktail bars etc. It is also extremely easy to get into the city, with a tram station literally just a few minutes walk away. Robert was each to commicate with, and provided all the helpful information required to check in and out with no issues. Can't recommend highly enough and now probably wouldnt want to stay anywhere else if/when we return to the city. Thanks Robert!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb—hands down the best we’ve ever stayed in! The place was immaculate, spacious and very modern. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, and it had everything we needed, from tea, coffee, sugar, milk to all the essentials like bowls, utensils, toaster, dishwasher. Two bathrooms was great for us with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, nice towels and hairdryer. The big beds were super comfortable with great pillows and bedding. One of the coolest features was the Alexa/smart feature to control the lights, heating and electric blanket in lounge on the futon in the window-loved this!!! The layout and style of the space were just stunning, making it a truly enjoyable and comfortable stay. Shammi was a great host, responds to questions super quick and offers an amazing service with his lovely apartment. Thank you so much for an incredible experience! We would highly recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back.

Our family of 4 (plus Inca, our border terrier) stayed at The Puffin Burrow for 3 nights between Christmas and New Year. It was comfortable, clean and very well equipped. There was even a real Christmas tree in the main room which was a nice touch. The best thing about it was the location right opposite the beach which made it so easy to get out for walks with our dog. Once or twice I emailed Lucy to ask her something and she replied immediately which was very helpful. The flat itself is very tastefully decorated, there are games, maps, books, tv, everything you could need really. We'd definitely book this place again in the future.

A lovely few days were spent at Thistle Flat. Spotlessly clean, easy to find and in a superb location where the sea waves across the road provided the perfect soundtrack. The flat is fully equipped for a comfortable self-catered holiday. Friendly and informative hosts made the stay all the better, with Helen only a phone call away. An excellent choice and somewhere we'd certainly revisit.

I stayed here for a month with my dog. We felt very settled and at home. The flat is really clean and tidy, has everything you need. Seeing the sunrise every morning over the Firth of Forth bridge was wonderful. As well as a fair few rainbows! Inside is as described, in the hallway there are cute picture frames with local recommendations which was a welcoming touch. Ben was really helpful, friendly and responsive. Lovely neighbours too who were warm and helpful. I felt really safe there. Parking right outside the property is quite difficult, but there is a car park a 2-3 min walk away and that was absolutely fine with spaces and really not an issue. There are lots of walks nearby, easy to get to the beach. Really easy to get into Edinburgh but also a fab location for exploring north over the bridge, and East towards Glasgow. I had lots of lovely adventures. Definitely recommend 🙂 thanks Ben! 🐾

Amazing place to stay. So peaceful and beautiful area. The house is fantastic and hot tub is a great extra to look out over the water and at the stars. Wallace was great and was there as we arrived to show us all we needed to know and made himself available if we needed him. Would absolutely recommend this place to book for anyone looking for a lovely time away!

We were visiting with family of 13 to celebrate my daughter’s 18th. We have a cockapoo so it was important that we had somewhere that welcomed dogs. There were even dog dishes and poo bags available. House was beautiful, exactly as described and really homely. The kitchen had everything you could imagine, also lots of cleaning essentials , dishwater tablets etc. The living space was exceptional. Cosy seating area as well as massive dining table that sat all of us. Patio doors opened out to decking and big garden, would imagine a brilliant space in the warmer months. All in all, top class accommodation, no hesitation in recommending it. 😊

Lovely find. The Smoke House is like stepping into a warm hug. We all loved the quirkiness of it. The fabulous social spaces. Really enjoyed our stay. So generously stocked with essentials.

Fantastic short break for family Christmas. Vicky had a Christmas tree and decorations in place for our arrival on Christmas eve, which were much appreciated. House was absolutely spotless and had everything you could possibly need. Vicky was extremely helpful with recommendations for restaurants and answered questions very promptly. We'll definetely return in the future!

We would have liked to stay longer, because we loved Kim's house. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed having two bathrooms. The kitchen is very roomy and well equipped. The view onto Loch Tay was stunning. Is is a very quiet house and neighborhood with parking right in front of the house. Communication with Kim was flawless. We would definitely book again!

We had an amazing stay at Oyster. The house is in a stunning location. It is so peaceful and we also really enjoyed watching the local wildlife from the terrace : ) There are plenty of things to do near the house and also scenic walks right from your doorstep. There were also plenty of recommendations provided by Nina at the house. And the sauna with a direct view of the Loch was the icing on the cake! Thank you for an amazing stay: we definitely want to return for another visit!

We've already told others about this lovely home and hope to return again. Spotlessly clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could ever have needed. The space is bigger than photos look, with super comfy beds and a cosy real fire. It was a rare treat to stay here!

We have had a really lovely stay for 4 nights at Karen’s apartment. The apartment is extremely comfortable and very well equipped with quality furniture, linens and kitchen equipment. Karen has thought of everything that we could need during our stay. Everything is spotlessly clean and fresh. The lounge and kitchen overlook the sea and it’s possible to walk straight from the property entrance to the lovely long promenade . There is a supermarket nearby and buses run regularly into Edinburgh. We would love to stay in the apartment on our next trip to the area.

The apartment in deans village is stunning and the facilities are fantastic - they have thought of everything. We were visiting for the rugby and it was an ideal location for Murrayfield. The wine fridge is a great addition. We hope to return this time next year again.

We decided to get away for the weekend ..last minute booking. Decided on Culross after seeing it on BBC Villages by the Sea and of course Outlander. The apartment is a great base to explore the Village and surrounding countryside. Lots of walks available from the doorstep and if you’re lucky you will see beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It is tastefully decorated, (love the Outlander autographs) very homely and the heating system is spot on ..making it very warm and cosy while it was freezing 🥶 outside. Everything you need for a self catering holiday is provided. The Red Lion pub just along the road is great for a meal/drink and everyone is so friendly and a bonus it is also dog friendly too. Thank you to Jonathan for being friendly, responsive and for giving us detailed information for parking/getting into the apartment.

Victoria is an amazing host. She was very accommodating, communicated so well, gave us lots of guidance for the best transport routes etc. The coastal walks near the apartment were beautiful, we walked to the train station and got into Edinburgh with ease.

Levi was so kind and helpful the whole time both before and during our stay, even with some wild weather! The place was lovely and clean also, the surroundings were gorgeous, and travel in and out of the city was very convenient too. Thanks so much!
