We enjoyed the space and the tranquility. Lovely detached cozy house outside the village, in a relaxing location, in the middle of forest slopes, meadows with horses and swampy area. A stately building with a soul, with history, full of literature and art - and yet very clean. Spacious bathrooms and nice showers. Contact with owner was pleasant, we were also allowed to use the washing machine although that was actually not the intention. Hamburg was very easy to reach by public transport. A few times an hour there is a train from Elmshorn to Hamburg Hbf

The perfect example of what an Airbnb should be. The house and location were beautiful and so tranquil. The garden is fantastic and the house had everything you would possibly need. The best thing was the hospitality. Petra left some lovely surprises for our son and our dog, and after a long day of driving it was a wonderful surprise. The perfect experience.

We spent two nights at this very nice place and fell in love with the many details. The partially fenced garden has direct access to the dyke. Here you could go for a wonderful walk. The house has a lot of charm and you constantly discover something beautiful "old new". A word to feel good, which is incredibly quiet and yet close enough to Sankt Peter Ording (about a 10-minute drive) Thank you for everything - we'd love to come back!

Perfect place to spend relaxing days on the North Sea. Well-equipped and comfortable. Great is the covered terrace overlooking the countryside. The beach is a few steps away. The communication with the very friendly hosts went well. We will be happy to come back.

We lived in the entire cottage with two families and had a great time at Christine's farm. Especially the play barn was able to score points at the youngest who were so busy around the clock, while we adults were greeted by a fantastically clean and beautifully furnished apartment. Everything was as described, agreements went smoothly. We will be happy to come back to enjoy the tranquility of the North Sea and look forward to visiting Christine again!

We had a wonderful stay in the wooden hut. The surroundings were restful and relaxing, exactly what we were hoping for. The cottage offered enough space for four people, and we felt completely comfortable. It was particularly pleasant that someone was always available to help us quickly with any questions. For the two of us, it was a great and quiet stay over New Year's Eve together with our dog. We sought peace and found it - combined with a beautiful place with nature in the surrounding area. A perfect base for long walks. The apartment was very clean, more than well furnished and the contact with Thilo was great. We will be happy to come back and can only recommend the apartment!

A very clean, quiet and nicely furnished accommodation at the gates of Hamburg. Christoph's friendly manner, small attentions such as bowl and blanket for the dog as well as coffee and a basket with fresh eggs for us, made the stay very pleasant. We will be back :)

A special place to stay! The house is beautiful and modern, with many technological gadgets that make the stay extra comfortable. The pool and trampoline are absolutely gold for children and adults alike. Inga, the friendly host, is very helpful and always ready to answer questions, even after an extensive tour. It is also nice to know that she is staying on the same property, only 25 meters away, which offers extra reassurance. Please note that (during the period we stayed here) there were a lot of mosquitoes and wasps. The house is of course located directly on the forest. This is good to know for future guests. All in all a great experience and a place I would definitely recommend for 2 adults with kids!

We booked the place for the big family reunion at Christmas and were really very satisfied. Everything was cozy and beautifully decorated, in each room there was a little Christmas decoration and the decorated Christmas tree made everything even better! We felt right at home. :) The host is very nice and you can tell that he takes great care of his guests. Thank you, we'd love to come back!

It was a wonderful mini-vacation and best of all, I was allowed to bring my cat. She also felt very comfortable right away. The apartment was really nice and big. The layout was perfect. Sabine was unbeatable as a host and very friendly. Kitchen and bathroom were very clean. In the kitchen, basic ingredients for cooking were available (salt, pepper, oil) It makes sense to come by car, because there are great beaches to discover in the area and much more. An absolute highlight for us was the garden, where you could admire the starry sky in the evening. There was hardly any light pollution. Even the Milky Way was visible. Thank you dear Sabine for letting us be your guests. We will be happy to come back.

The information in advance of arrival was detailed and very good. Unfortunately, the key safe is not close to the apartment, but since you have to drive a little further to the top anyway, the detour is hard to remember. The furnishings of the apartment are good, modern consumer electronics are there. Unfortunately, the tumble dryer described was not there, instead there was a clothes rack that was completely sufficient in the wind on the terrace. Very pleasant: dish soap and everything necessary for rinsing – except drying towels – was available in the kitchen, as was many kitchen appliances. Information about the surroundings hang on the pinboard. From the apartment, within a few minutes you are actually everywhere where you want to go in Friedrichskoog. Currently (March 2025), a lot is being renewed on the dyke and the leisure activities in Friedrichskoog Spitze. You can't go over the nearby dyke to the water at the moment, but the apartment or Philipp can't do anything about it.

We were there for a private occasion and needed a cheap place to stay. Check-in was hassle-free and uncomplicated, the location quiet and well suited to relax. Impeccable.
