Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Downtown, Norfolk

Our family of 6 greatly enjoyed our stay here! In a quiet neighborhood of Sandbridge, it offered us a relaxing time with direct access to enjoy the beach. There was plenty of room for everyone and we appreciated having a kitchen to make and eat meals. We loved the balcony that gave us a view to the ocean and the beach houses. The best part was having access to beach supplies like chairs , boogie boards, sand toys, and a wagon to cart it to and from the beach. We would stay here again if we come back!

We had such a wonderful stay. Our vacation started out a little bad with delayed flights and terrible car rental. Our wonderful hosts were extremely understanding and helpful and changed our sour moods right around. She was exceptional at giving us any heads up about what was happening around the property and events going on. The condo was just so comfy and had everything we needed. We would most definitely like to stay again in the future.

Overall, a great place to stay after the summer season was over. The apartment complex had turned off few of the amenities, but it was manageable.

Place was far nicer than expected from pictures .... private parking in back . Nice lake with fountains behind unit Location was right in the middle of anything and everything you could want or need. I was worried about noise but you would have never known you were right in the middle of everything. I travel for work about 80% of the time out of all the places I stayed this was definitely top 5.

It is a beautiful place, close to everything, the only dislike is we saw roaches on our last 2 days of our stay. Than we notice the roach traps.

Jenny and Ania were awesome and were always checking in on us throughout the stay. The front desk staff was excellent and very friendly, anytime we called for something it was taken care of right away. I would definitely go back. Our stay was very comfortable and homie. Housekeeping was on top of it at all times. Only thing that wasn’t great was the weather unfortunately.

We enjoyed our stay at "A Sea Gem" in Virginia Beach. It was a cozy condo/duplex that looked exactly like the photos. The condo was clean, well-equipped with all the necessities, and was just a short walk to the beach. The pool and outdoor shower at the complex were also very nice. The Anchor Realty staff helped connect us with VB Surf Sessions for beach equipment rentals. Our chairs, umbrella, beach cart, and body boards were delivered to the doorstep the day we arrived and picked up the evening before we left - so convenient! We love visiting Virginia Beach, and this rental unit was exactly what we were looking for!

Beautiful full room with separate bedroom and full kitchen . The view is spectacular and the building is close to everything ! We ate at some wonderful restaurants and never had a bad meal . Recommend Rockafeller’s and Captain George’s , Chix on the Beach and Jumping Shrimp . Parking pass allowed us to park and come and go from parking garage garage accreted the street from the property. Mari was amazing checking on us every step to ensure we had a great time . Highly recommend staying with her!

Amazing loft condo in a very pretty, new building... the space itself was beautiful. Comfortable bed, very cute spiral staircase from the kitchen and living room to the bedroom. Extremely well decorated with little touches everywhere. There was a great rooftop common area with couches, outdoor TVs, grills, and a great view of the ocean. On top of that you couldn’t ask for a better location, with great restaurants, bars, etc literally across the street. Host was accommodating, communicated well, and offered us access to the wine, food, etc in the house of which there were plenty. Overall a 5 star experience and a great last breath of summer!!!

Duane and Trish were amazing hosts! This was our first family vacation as a family of 4 and everything was absolutely perfect! Duane reached out several times to assure everything was set and we understood everything we needed to know for our stay! His recommendations were top notch and very informative. We will most defiantly be back in the future! Thank you Duane and Trish for your hospitality!

Perfect location, just steps away from the beach. Amazing views! Absolutely loved our stay here! Before we left to come home the kids were asking to return! Definitely will be booking again, not only this listing, but with Reggie as well!

Great time.

Love this place! Just as described. The room was clean, comfortable and worth the price. The pools, hot tub and tiki bar were delightful. I enjoyed the views from the balconies and the beach.

My family and I decided to do a last minute end of summer trip. I was able to find this gem. House was 5 mins from their local beach driving, which was great & they provided a couple of beach amenities. House looks small from the outside but very spacious and modern in the inside. Loved the kitchen! Great place, def worth checking out.

Fourteen of us stayed at the Sandbridge Jewel to celebrate our 60th birthdays. Everyone raved about Andrea's place! It was beautifully decorated and very well stocked, both inside and out. The three decks, lovely pool, shaded cabana, and dock were all wonderful. The path to the beach made it so easy to roll out of bed and walk over to see the sunrises. We are already talking about a return visit!

This was the perfect house for our group. The space was very accommodating and made it East to hang out and reconnect with friends while still giving everyone a bit of privacy! The location was excellent and it was easily accessible. The hosts were super nice and very easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back next year!

Visited family on our way back to South Florida and stayed for Christmas. Perfect home for families, secluded on the water, but a few miles from newly built retail plazas. Joseph, a fellow vet was super responsive and proactive. We were glad to give him our business.

This was an amazing find! It was half a block from a quiet part of the beach in an upscale residential neighborhood, yet it was only a mile to the heart of the city and the bustling boardwalk. The home was lovely, charmingly furnished with tons of comfy seating and toasty blankets. There was a perfect beachy vibe. The hot tub was private and roomy. And the hosts were incredibly helpful, crazy generous and welcoming. In fact, they purchased exercise equipment after I mentioned that I liked to work out. I will be back and urge you to do the same. Whether for a romantic getaway or family vacation, I am certain you will be as delighted as we were!

Very relaxing! Beach was right across the street so took many walks. Loved that a small market and restaurant were right there as well. No need to drive anywhere which was exactly what we wanted. Beautiful home with plenty of space for everyone.
