Vacation rentals in Downtown, Albany

First of all, a 1 o’clock check in started us off on a very happy note. Then, having room for each female to have her own bed made a for peaceful stay. The biggest thing was how much the space was warm, comforting, and full of character. The sliders provided a broad view of the lake. The kitchen with the open area to dining and front area provided an open concept feel to an older home while maintaining its true character. The tall cabinets contained every utensil/small appliance that we needed and more. We brought a bag of board games as we know what we like, but there was a great variety already there. While there was plenty of room, we felt “together” in that space. We can only imagine the beauty that arrives later in spring. Thank you for having us!

This place is FANTASTIC! This was our second time staying here and we look forward to staying a third time soon! Beautifully furnished and decorated place right on the water. if you need a place to stay anywhere in the Saratoga area, we can't recommend this place enough!

The spaciousness of your home allowed my family and friends come together and enjoy much needed quality time among a peaceful winter country side surrounding. Thank you for accommodating me with my poodles as well. Bringing both of them with us is extremely important when traveling. It's a truly beautiful place to visit any time of the year. Maryana and Scott were absolutely amazing hosts! From start to finish, they were incredibly responsive and shared so many great suggestions for things to do around Catskill. The house was spotless, cozy, and truly felt like a home away from home. Our kids had a blast in the game room, spending hours playing board games. The escape room game they set up was such a thoughtful activity. The goodies hidden inside the escape room box were another wonderful surprise. They even had a Polaroid camera, which my kids absolutely loved using to capture memories. They also left snacks and a s’mores kit for us, which was such a sweet touch. Making s’mores by campfire became one of our favorite activities! And after long days of hiking, soaking in the hot tub felt absolutely amazing. This was the first vacation where I didn’t have to stress about forgetting anything—the hosts had truly thought of every little detail we might need. If you’re looking to make beautiful memories, this is the place to be.

Stayed here with a few friends for a wedding. Was easy to find, quiet at night, had plenty of space for everyone and the beds were very comfortable. Hung out in the upstairs area and the porch in the morning. Would stay again next time we’re in the area!

The home was recognizable as it matches the pictures exactly. It was easy to get in. It was super cold when we got there but when we bumped the heat it was quick to warm up. It was perfect for what we needed but is definitely more of a cabin vibe. Pots and pans are well worn, if you are planning to cook you’ll need everything like oil, etc. Kitchen table could be cramped but the counter seating was a great alternative. Getting out of the bathtub is a feat worthy of Cirque du Soleil with proximity of the sink and toilet, and the space between not really accessible because of the doors. That said, the tub held warmth and is comfortably deep. Beds are firm, but still comfortable. The living room was the perfect family hang out. We would definitely return as we enjoyed our stay. The place is cozy and rustic. It met our needs while our son was rowing at Head of the Fish.

a wonderful little gem in an area that has very few accommodations. the vibe was great and we had loads of fun putting the 2k piece pokemon puzzle together

We loved our late winter stay on the lake - it was very peaceful and we had some great bird-watching opportunities. The art and special objects in the house made for a very cozy and beautiful environment. Overall, it was very comfortable and we would definitely stay again.
