Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Douglas Island

The host was friendly and quick to respond to any questions. The house was large enough for my family of 8 with room to spare. The location was away from busy downtown but near to several attractions like the glacier. Compared to the hotels, it was a good price for the end of the summer season in Juneau. The available dryer was a huge blessing with all the rain!

If you need a perfect home base while exploring Juneau, this is it. Great location, well furnished kitchen and bath, nice river views, and kind and responsive host. We really enjoyed our stay!

Kelli’s home is absolutely beautiful. It is in a good spot, very close to the glacier in Juneau which is super rad. It is a bit far from downtown, but uber/lyft drivers are available and easy to get if necessary. It is also super close to the airport which was great for our early flight out! We had such a blast at the spot and would definitely come back and stay again. Very clean, and Kelli was very accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend snagging this spot, especially if you have a big group! We were able to book the whole place for all nine of us. Thank you so much, Kelli!

We had 11 people during our stay and it never felt crowed. The backyard was great, the kids had fun on the trampoline, exploring the woods and campfires. The house met and exceeded all of our needs. Would highly recommend Sima's location while in Juneau.

Lovely place, convenient to downtown but still very quiet. House was clean and well appointed, with gorgeous views. A great Juneau option!

Super place! I reserved this for my employee and he loved it! Kelli was very proactive in making his stay the best. We both knew what to expect, how to find it and she was available for anything we needed. It was a home away from home!

What a neat spot! We booked last minute after finding out we were stuck in Juneau, due to a ferry cancellation, and needed somewhere to post up with the dog for a couple of days. Loved the whole vibe, especially the kickass shower. Comfy, cozy and crazy-clean. The owner, Johney seems like a rad guy and was a pleasure to chat with. I caught a quick peek inside his garage and it made me drool a little. Great, quiet neighborhood and just a quick drive to the ferry terminal. As always, Kelli and her cohost were helpful and responsive. We’d definitely stay again.

Amazing host, beautiful home, super clean! The unit had everything you need to feel right at home. My only “negative” thing to say is that the walls are super thin, or maybe it was just the rude tenants from the upstairs unit, they kept running and stumping, when they would leave their unit they would slam their door which would shake the entire place and even the kitchen plates down in this unit. This unit is located next to the stairs which can be loud as well especially with those same tenants, their kid would run those stairs in the middle of the night and slam the door to the parking area. Beautiful place overall but I did lose some sleep over all the noise, especially when working from home I had to excuse myself a few times. Owners addressed the issue when I brought it up to them but tenants chose to continue to do what they had been doing, it got better for a few hours and then it started all over again till 3am.

Our stay was amazing and we had a wonderful time. The place had everything we needed and more. Tom was an exceptional host and was so kind. Highly recommend staying here and we will be back too!

We loved Chris' house, he is a great host! We felt at home, the kitchen is well equipped, the neighborhood is quiet and safe with a beautiful view. Chris' home is very comfortable and kid friendly. Our two granddaughter's enjoyed the variety of toys they played with. We will definitely book again when traveling with family!

The house is spacious and beautiful. We appreciated all the bathroom necessities being available in both bathrooms as people always leave something behind. The in floor heating is amazing in the morning when first getting out of bed :) Thank you for the binder of activities and restaurants, this was very helpful! We would definitely recommend this place or look to book again. The host were communicative and very responsive. They even mailed us back an electric razor one of our parties left behind. 10/10!"

This rental house was the perfect place to rent when my family and I came up to visit my parents in Juneau. The location was so convenient for us and the view was SPECTACULAR. Amanda was very friendly, accommodating and responsive. I would definitely rent from her again!

This was the perfect house for us! Everything was clean and a lot of beds and rooms were spacious! Full kitchen with full spice cabinet was really convenient!

Unforgettable stay. Wonderful spot and experience. It worked great for our family (two adults, 2 teens, 1 youth.) I have some core Mom memories made there now, I treasure. We visited Juneau to ski and it’s only a mile from the mountain turnoff. Quiet place with all the basics provided. Loved the layout of the cabin and the outside space. Easy to come home at night and relax. Even saw a bit of northern lights from the porch one night.
