The pictures do not do Elise's home justice, the view across to Belves were stunning. In a super location, remote and private. The house and facilities were very well equipped with everything you could need, and the very large pool was perfect. Spotlessly clean and very welcome with my two children rarely out of it! Thoroughly recommended - we would love to return!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful retreat. Quiet in the middle of nature, at the same time close to the tourist places we wanted to visit in Dordogne (Sarlat 20 min away), the accommodation is very functional and pleasant, the bedding is also very comfortable. We mostly lived outside, by the beautiful infinity pool. Finally, Betty and her husband are unparalleled kindness, it was a pleasure to interact with them, we'll keep the address for future vacations 😊 thank you again!

An unforgettable stay ( we will come back) a wild and peaceful setting as if we were the house. Clear simple community rules adapted to everyone ( very important for sharing the premises ) There is no shopping mall nearby so don't come to go shopping! (Board games provided on-site ) Some nearby internet activities will help you. I hope the host was happy with our presence as well as it's very important that it works in the 2 senses😊😘. Looking forward to coming back so not all book at the same time

A wonderful site offering all the comforts in a natural and rural setting. Olivier and Simon were available and warm. The services offered on site are remarkable (kitchen equipment, games, mountain biking, etc.). We would recommend it.

This is a good sized property, perfect for our party of 9, which included a 1 year old. Three bathrooms, two kitchen areas and two lounges plus two terraces. Meal prep was great as plenty of space, utensils, pots, pans etc, and crockery. The pool was amazing, sunken with steps into it, gated too, and lots of loungers and two good sized parasols, we took advantage of this by night swimming too, in a little pool. Couldn’t ask for better hosts than Jan and Ningsih, from the lovely welcome and telling us about places to go etc, to bringing over some things for the baby, they were there but not there if that makes sense. They made us feel like we could be at home for the two weeks. Really quiet location, friendly locals and a car is essential! The pictures really don’t do the property justice and we absolutely loved it there, we would definitely go back there without a doubt. Thanks to our hosts for a memorable holiday. Arrived at the Gite after a long, hot journey to be greeted with a warm welcome from Simone, Michelle's sister who lives on-site, who was really helpful and imparted much of her local knowledge with recommendations of where to go and what was of interest. The location and space the Gite is situated is fantastic as a peaceful getaway but there is also plenty to do and explore locally. We hired the larger Gite of the two as we were a party of eight which easily accommodated us all comfortably. We had a great stay and would definitely book again

Betty was a very welcoming host, thé gîte was perfect for our family stay in the Dordogne, the kids loved the swimming pool and enjoyed visiting the river which is only a few minutes by car. Thanks Betty for your hospitality.

We stayed with our kids and grandchildren, 6 people in all, and had room to spare at these adjoining gites. What a fabulous time we had! Sonia and Mark are the most lovely hosts ever. They live in a separate house on the property and were always there to help us but were never intrusive. Everything was impeccably clean and the property was every bit as inviting as the photos. The swimming pool was nice and warm; the kitchen was incredibly well stocked with pots, pans, serving pieces, as well as having great appliances. The location was fabulous— 5 minutes away from the beautiful little medieval town of Monpazier, 15-20 minutes away from countless other medieval towns, 45 minutes from the cave paintings at Font-de-Gaume, 45 minutes from Sarlat, 40 minutes from many castles/chateaux including Beynac, Castelnaud, and Milandes, where performer/spy for the Resistance Josephine Baker lived. I can’t imagine a better vacation!

We had a pleasant stay at Géraldine's, the games room is a real plus, our daughter loved it and so did we! Our daughter was delighted with the pony ride and seeing the goats and turkey pigs. We were able to spend a weekend of disconnection and it feels good to be in the nature!

Pauline was a great host. Welcomed us in person and showed us around the house. The accommodation was spotless and very well equipped. We enjoyed playing table tennis and boules. We took cycle rides to the nearby villages and went wine tasting at local vineyards. We walked round the nearby lake where you could also go kayaking or paddle boarding. The beautiful town of Eymet was only a short walk away. And when the sun came out we lay by the pool

We stayed for 3 nights in September. The place is great, with a lot of character. We had a car so didnt need to find out about public transport - probably not available. We had the use of the small pool (there is a big pool available in the property for a cottage different from the one we stayed at). The water was 20-22 C. Quiet neighbourhood with walking and cycle track. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Its a tasteful conversion from an old building, with some low ceilings in places. Well appointed kitchen, a small BBQ with outdoor seating in the back as well as in the front of the cottage. Linda was welcoming, accommodating and helpful.

Great place in the Dordogne, great for visiting the area. Wendy and her husband are very kind and available. The accommodation is well equipped.

Very welcoming hosts, pleasant and functional accommodation, very clean, a very nice terrace for lunch, a view of the beautiful countryside. I would recommend this place without so much as a second thought. P.S. Thanks for the two beers in the fridge upon arrival.

We loved our stay! It was a beautiful space - separated form the main house with our own terrace. Pool was great and out kids loved the trampoline and large chess set. It's in a beautiful spot - very peaceful and Julia and Baptitse were lovely and so helpful!

Nickel accommodation, quiet clean in a good location, close to town on foot , parking available, small personal terrace. Perfect hosts, very good communication and responsiveness. i highly recommend these people for all their qualities.

We had a great time at Isabelle's! We were five friends telecommuting and the house was perfectly suited to our needs. The space was spacious, clean and well-equipped. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, ping-pong table, barbecue, the house had everything we needed so that we could "work" in the best conditions. Isabelle was a great host, always available and responsive to our requests. We highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a comfortable place for a business or leisure stay. We had an absolutely brilliant stay over 3.5 weeks as a family of four (2 adults and 4 year old twins) with other families visiting throughout. Moulin de la Bique is a charming, beautiful and immaculately renovated French stone property. Leo and Craig have done an exceptional job in retaining the property’s character whilst modernising and upgrading the bedrooms, dining spaces and kitchen. It is perfect for large single families as well as having a good layout for 2 to 3 families to stay / interact and still have private space when needed. The property has breathtaking views across sunflower fields and vines. It is SSW facing so has sunlight all day and stunning sunsets in the evening. The heated infinity pool is brilliant to relax by or have fun in and the gardens allow everyone to run freely and safely. The kitchen and amenities are exceptional - every detail catered for - and Leo & Craig were fantastic, responsive and exceptionally helpful hosts. The whole family loved it.

Very nice place, the site is well located very well maintained and perfect for spending a moment of tranquility and happiness with the family in this beautiful region of the Lot. The kids especially loved the game room and my dog the barbecue area! Jerome is very attentive and will give you lots of tips and places to make your stay just perfect!
