Very serene cottage on the Suwannee River lets you relax in privacy. During your stay, you will be the only one on the property. A large fire pit and a deck overlooking the river invites you to spend more time outside. There is a fully fenced yard. A fenced yard and almost an acre of land makes this a perfect river retreat. Located in the heart of fishing/scalloping activity. Steinhatchee has Festivals and Fishing Tournaments every weekend February 1st thru Labor Day. Scallop season is June 15 thru Labor Day Weekend. Mid September through March we have weekly reduced price rates, by the week or month for those wanting to spend the winter in Florida. Seafood Restaurants, Marinas, Tiki Bars and live bands are along the Riverfront at the marinas. Plenty of entertainment or free natural sites to explore.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located along the upper Steinhatchee River. Located down a dead end road in the woods. Across the river is Conservation Land so you will hear lots of birds, crickets, owls, and frogs. If your lucky you may even spot deer, wild boar, bobcats, otter, gators or manatee. This is a natural "Old Florida " environment complete with critters and bugs. Bug spray is recommended when outdoors in the warmer months.
