we enjoyed our stay. all the appliances were as described and were of a great help to us. although the approach road to the property from the main highway is a task with sharp inclines, but uska maza bhi kuch aur hai. I enjoyed climbing those inclines twice a day, specially in my morning walks. Every place has its plus and minuses and it depends upon an individual how to find a way to enjoy and have a great time. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Nanda Devi Himalayan Homestay! Dhyan Singh ji (The Host), made us feel like part of the family. He was incredibly hospitable and prepared delicious, homely food for dinner and breakfast. The view of the mountain peaks was absolutely breathtaking. The place was very clean, and the rooms were comfortable with heaters making it cozy inspite of the chilling weather outside. The driving directions to the homestay were clear, making it easy to find the location. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Ranikhet – it’s the perfect blend of natural beauty, great hospitality, and comfort!

The house is beautiful! Its got 3 big rooms with attached bathrooms, perfect for families with kids to stay. All the amenities were there including radiators in every room, which was nice. There is a caretaker there who lives with his family and they made sure that we had delicious meals. Plus its pet- friendly and there is enough space for your dog to run around and play. Overall a great experience!

Shiva's place is awesome. It had all the listed items and was very clean. The surrounding was very peaceful and beautiful. Everything that you can think of was already available. The view from the balcony was very fascinating. Me and my family loved this property and we highly recommend this to everyone visiting Ranikhet and nearby areas. There are a few top notch restaurants nearby. Market is just 1.1 km away, you can easily get all grocery items you might need. Shiva is very friendly and responsive. He shared all the details before over visit. Everything was neat and clean. Special thanks to our caretaker Sunita and Shyam. Sunita is very good at cooking. You can even walk downhill if you want to go for a small trek near the society itself. Parking was just in front of the villa. Secret- They also have a lemon grass plant so you can have your morning lemon grass tea. Thanks to Shiva and his team for making our trip feel like home, yet amazing.

I had an absolutely delightful stay at Kukreti’s villa. The location is perfect, nestled amidst lush greenery with breathtaking views of the hills. The property itself was impeccably clean, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was exceptionally kind and caring, going out of their way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. He even gave us a call to check on how we were doing, which was such a warm and personal touch. It’s rare to find such thoughtful hospitality, and it made our experience even more special. Truly a host who cares about their guests. The cook Priyanka at the property was truly amazing! She prepared delicious, homely meals that perfectly complemented the cozy hill station vibe. If you are looking for a serene getaway to recharge yourself and connect with nature, I highly recommend this property.

Vidyun’s Dhamas is a perfect place for people who love to be amidst nature and are looking for a peaceful getaway away from the crowds. Although the place is located outside of town, but it has everything that you could need during your stay. There are enough heaters to beat the winter chills along with electric bed warmers for a nice sleep. The home is beautifully decorated and has a rustic vibe. It’s like that dream house that a lot of us want to have in the mountains. My favourite section of the house has got to be the balcony with a view of the magnificent Himalayan peaks. Caretaker Anand Ji and Cook Bobby are very well behaved and assist you in every way possible to make your stay comfortable. Anand ji took us for a jungle hike (starting in the forest just behind the house) to Shitlakhet which was refreshing. Last but not the least, Sanjeev Sir and Vidyunmala Ma’am are great hosts and available just a ping away. Thanks for a delightful stay!

Ray's Cottage is exactly what it aims to be - a home away from home, with a view of a lifetime! The way the house is set up, you can't help but fall a little in love with it from the moment you step inside. The owner's personal touches in decor makes the place come alive in itself. The view of the Garhwal Himalayas from the balcony, the lovely walks up and down the path, and most importantly, the caretaker Shekhar bhai, who was very accommodating and always ready to go above and beyond to make our trip go smoother - hit all the right spots and made this cottage worth every penny!

amazing location to take a break. food was amazing ,balam is an amazing cook. the water air of the location and his wonderful cooking meant the appetite of all of us incl. that of my parents in their 70's , experienced a healthy boost 😋. bunty is a wonderful caretaker and right from coordinating check-in to taking us around on hikes , he made sure we were well taken care of . he knows the location inside out and I would definitely recommend going on a hike with him, atleast to the nearby river ( will remind you of rishikesh minus the crowds) few things to note: i. this is not a wheelchair friendly location ii. bring good hiking shoes ( I had a lot of problems in one of the hikes with my regular sneakers) iii. get a 4WD or a vehicle like innova , it's quite a steep hill iv. if you are getting a driver , remember he will most likely have to stay with you v. try to reach there before dark vi. the fitter you are, the more you will enjoy

Digvijayji is a fantastic host and everything at the cabin was as expected or even more. Cabin was cozy and comfortable. Views of the Himalayas were amazing. Kitchen was well equipped for us to cook when we wanted to. Icing on the cake was the caretaker, Girishji who is a very caring person. He gave attention to details and was friendly and made our stay very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you Digvijayji and Girishji. Regards, sudha
