Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Dent County

James was fantastic! We are locals to the area but are in transition of selling our house to buying property and developing it for us to live one. All that being said a winter storm hit our area. At the moment we are in a camper….we lost power due to ice and power lines down. I thought maybe someone would have an Airbnb around with a wood stove and this one did!!! We got in direct contact with James and he helped us out tremendously! It was nice to see all the wonderful comments about our small town and area in his guest book. It was a cozy, WARM stay. Just what we needed.

Jimmie and Regine were excellent hosts. They were timely in their response and supportive to our requests. The house was absolutely worth the money we paid. It's a nice, peaceful location and a perfect getaway from our busy lives. The house had all the amenities. If time permits, we would want to go again!

We stayed here the night before my wedding with my bridesmaids. This home is BEAUTIFUL and the pictures do not do it justice. My friends and I would love to come back and enjoy a nice weekend away.

Sarah was a fabulous host, the cottage of Simply Salem was beautiful. The home had everything we needed and there was so much extra, it mad for an extraordinary trip. The communication was great and the location was perfect for our weekend with family in town. Looking forward to booking again with Sarah when we return.

3 old friends enjoyed 3 days of fishing at Montauk. The location and cabin were perfect for us. Historically we have stayed in a cabin in the park, but moving forward we will be staying at the Blue Ribbon. It is ride outside the park, a very short drive, much more peaceful and much nicer for a similar price. Highly recommend staying here for a fishing trip to Montauk.

This place is amazing and we definitely want to come back. Jay was very hospitable and responsive. As others mentioned in their reviews, the professional kitchen in the common area really is great. We came down to Pine Valley with a big group for a float trip. Its was a huge relief that this property had everything we needed and more so we could just focus on spending time with each other. Oh, and we found a full size cornhole game with sandbags we played with too. Fun.

The place was just as described. Well appointed and decorated.

Me and my wife spent the day here and it was absolutely amazing! Host was very respectful and super nice! 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for a getaway with no electronic devices! We spent hours playing all the board games they had! Will definitely be back in the near future

We stayed at Rick and Mellissa's for a night and loved our stay, the farm is beautiful and peaceful. We got in late and the barn area was well lit and easy to find. It's cozy but supplied with everything you'd need. Would visit again if ever in the area.

What a wonderful experience ❤️ We found a hidden gem. We want to return with Dad! Thinking ahead we'd love to stay during a meteor shower. The hosts were both very kind and helpful. I felt safe and welcomed.

This is a great home nice back patio, nice neighborhood, easy to get to main roads nice restaurants and Wal-Mart down the road gas stations all right there and a great donut shop with a drive through. We would definitely stay here again.
