Vacation rentals in Deep Bay

We stayed at Erin’s place for a few days — my husband, a couple of friends, and I — and the experience truly exceeded our expectations. The house is even more beautiful in person: cozy, stylish, and fully equipped with everything we needed to enjoy a memorable stay. The space is peaceful, perfect for resting, and also great for spending quality time together. Honestly, we wish we could have stayed longer! We definitely want to come back and are already recommending it to our friends. Thank you for such a special and comfortable stay.

David's place is one of a collection of cozy cabins all nestled in together. The pool and hot tub were a great amenity to have on hand. The place is very comfortable with good beds and all the fixings. We were a group of 4 guys and it made for easy living. David was responsive and accommodating. I will 100% stay here again.

Heidi is such a friendly, responsive and gracious host! We actually had a dialog from reservation to stay which was a 4 week gap! The house is so very nice; nice enough that both my friend and I said on multiple occasions, 'Man, I would totally buy/rent this place lock, stock and barrel!". It's very comfortable for two persons who are traveling together but are not a couple or family as there is a bedroom on each side of the common area. Everything is as described; nicer, even. There is tons of lighting which can be adjusted to make the house warm and cozy or nicely lit; guests' preference. There is both a porch and lovely and sizeable yard with a picnic table. The location is perfect if you want to want to walk to downtown Courtenay- It is literally just blocks away to restaurants, shops, grocery stores and the neighborhood is very peaceful! Just a tip for future guests: The entrance is through the gate at the back door as opposed to the front door:). Great Stay!

Super location with beach access for great low tide walks. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops close by, a few are walking distance the rest are a short drive. Andrew's place is very quiet, nicely appointed, has everything you need, very comfortable. Highly recommend checking it out if you're coming to Parksville !

The place is amazing! Beautiful and quiet. Everything as described. We were so happy that our dog was welcomed! Reg was a great host. We would love to go back!

My partner and our children reserved this lovely home for a retirement celebration with our in laws. The home was spacious for all six of us and our family dog and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The home is nestled in a beautiful mountainous area with lovely views from all the front windows. It's rustic yet modernized layout and structure made it the perfect place to cozy up together or spread out and enjoy some quiet time separately. It's location is close enough to many trails and beach access points to get out and explore. The hot tub, sauna and cold plunge were definitely a highlight for our Spring trip and did not disappoint.

Pat's place is awesome. We, a family of four - two adults and two kids (one is at teen age and another one is younger), spent a great long weekend there. Bright, cozy condo with great view from almost any window. It fits all of us, has a nice kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Heated pool with a hot tub, which we and kids enjoyed, just downstairs. The Bay is very good for paddle boarding. We did twice over our stay. If tide is low, you can reach a tiny island where you can find lots of purple and orange sea stars, crabs, and oysters. Ladysmith and Nanaimo suggest great dinner options. Nanaimo also has a nice walkable Marina merging into Maffeo Sutton park. If you like hikes, we tried Extension Ridge Trail hike near Nanaimo and can strongly recommend it to anyone. Malahat Tower is a fun place to visit, just one hour of driving from "Inn of the Sea" resort, we've been there, and were not disappointed. Will definitely stay again at Pat's place.

Wonderful cottage just on the edge of Rathtrevor. We had friends camping in the park and we didn’t want to camp with a toddler so this was the perfect solution. Pet friendly, private, quiet. Cottage had everything you’d need. Host was very responsive and helpful. Had high chair, pack and play, baby gate. Would stay again!

A beautiful setting that is a great place to relax with a few couples. It is roomy and has great gathering and relaxation spots inside and out. There lots of kitchen implements for cooking, tons of linen, and it’s very clean.
