Vacation rentals in Deatsville

We loved our stay so very much. We hadn't planned our trip as we ended up staying during an evacuation and it became one of our best family trips. The kids jumped in the crystal clear lake every day, we cooked in the well appointed kitchen for every meal and had a fire each night only leaving for hiking which was great and dog friendly! I enjoyed a soak in the claw foot tub each night. My 80 year old MIL sat in the porch swing all day basically. We never wanted to leave!

Our stay was exactly what we needed… location and accommodations were perfect! Our basketball team was in town for a tournament, this house gave us an opportunity to relax and recharge. Highly recommend.

We had a great time here! It was a relaxing and comfortable place to stay with all of the essential amenities provided. There were many areas to enjoy sitting outside including the nice bonfire area and screened in porch. The provided kayaks and the snacks/coffee supplies were much appreciated. Ivy was an extremely responsive and friendly host. She gave helpful recommendations including a great hike we did at Cherokee Ridge nearby. We would definitely stay here again!

Sarah is a very gracious and responsive host. The rental was very clean, nicely decorated, and perfectly located for the fishing tournament at Lake Martin.

Angela was a great host! The villa was better than the pictures. BEAUTIFUL sunsets over the water and super peaceful. Just what we needed to recharge after the hustle of the holidays. It was also very close to the filming spots from the movie "Big Fish", which my tween really enjoyed. Especially the goats on Jackson Lake Island. We will be back!!

We had exactly 16 family members stay here to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday. Great spaces to hang out with the family, both inside and out. Well furnished. Beautiful surroundings.

Such a beautiful property and spacious home. It was really lovely to stay here. Getting up in the morning and sitting outside with a cup of coffee was majestic. We came to avoid a hurricane but it turned out to be a really nice little vacation. John and his family were very accommodating and then inviting. Would definitely recommend.

To say the absolute least, Shanna is an absolutely amazing host. Seems the weather loves to throw in severe storms and Shanna did the absolute best to help in any way possible. Twice staying there and dangerous storms come through. She offered a storm shelter and anything else needed for safety. Power was out and helped by running a generator. Couldn’t think of a better place to stay and certainly not a better host than herself. Everyone in the area is friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to continue going back. And the cottage as always was spotless and she helped with anything we might need through our stay. The area is very beautiful and quiet.

The cabin is gorgeous and the bedrooms were fairly comfortable. Gas grill and stove were working great for what we needed. The stairs leading from the main to the lower level are a bit wobbly but otherwise the dock was a great spot to throw a line into. We will definitely return here in possibly the summer as a little getaway
