Chalet vacation rentals in De Ronde Venen

Sander was a very great host! He always replied very quickly and had met us at the entrance of the park and drove us straight to the property to forego any delays. The chalet was as described and was filled with tea and coffee facilities. The linen and all other amenities were perfect! A lovely stay for us all!

The place was great and we felt very much at home. For 6 people, the place is a bit tight, but that was perfectly fine for two nights! Many thanks to Gerrit for the nice welcome and the easy communication in advance.

The beautiful house was very individually decorated, very bright inside and equipped with private furniture. Everything was clean and upon arrival the very likeable house owner Jan directly welcomed us, explained the house and gave us tips for the area - for example where we can find a cheap bike rental. Joffry takes care of the house and was very accessible. We especially enjoyed the harmony of the house and garden. In the garden there were two chickens that laid fresh breakfast eggs. From the house you can look out on a magnificent dune landscape where you can hike or cycle. The nearest beach is only 15 minutes by bike - if you prefer a secluded beach section, you can go a few minutes further. We really liked the nearest town Alkmaar with its many historic houses, restaurants, cafes and picturesque canals. We would very much like to rent the beautiful house again from Jan and Joffry. We stayed at Chantal's house with our two-year-old daughter and had a great time. The house is very cozy and with everything you need. In the garden you can relax and play. The planes can be heard, but it didn't bother us. We rented bikes and did many nice tours in the area. The staff at the park were also very friendly and there were great play opportunities for our daughter there. Chantal also provides many ideas for excursions. We highly recommend Chantal's house! :)

Petra is a super great host, we were super friendly and warmly welcomed. She decorated the house super nicely. Checking in and out was no problem. A highlight for us were the bikes that were provided on site. We highly recommend the place and host.

We stayed for a couple of days while visiting Amsterdam and Leiden - it was fantastic for the train and a real quiet cosy little place Kitty was a lovely host, she sent the most comprehensive directions I’ve ever gotten to find the place from the station and was super speedy to respond. Thanks for having us 😊

Mirjam's place worked ok for our family, it was our very first time in the netherlands so we had to adjust to some new "request" as guests. The location is perfect if you want to save a little bit of money (for long stays) and also if you want to explore the countryside of the Netherlands. (which is beatiful). This option doesn't really work if you want to explore amsterdam and that area since it is about 1 up to 1.5 hrs driving. There was a problem with the washing machine that were not able to fix right away since they needed to call the plumber but we figured it out. The rooms (as you see the pictures) are small but very comfortable. I like they have window blinds that work great so you can rest any time during the day. In general this place is nice and peaceful, but I think this place is a better option for local tourists than for international tourists.

The long, winding and narrow road is the only negative thing to mention. Everything else was above expectations.

We had beautiful days on Vergarde / Erichem. We had some private appointments nearby, but also enjoyed the beautiful surroundings with lots of fruit. We picked cherries in an orchard. Other nice walks made. Our daughter caught a true reed, which was very exciting. Especially how the hook had to be taken out again... Thank you, also for being allowed to use the pool and the miniature golf.

Very cosy house. Tasteful decoration. Everything you need was available. Uncomplicated check in and out. We would love to come again.

Had a great stay in a unique space on the Oudegracht in the middle of Utrecht. Cozy furnishings and equipped with every comfort. Very warm welcome and an extensive yet quick explanation about everything. Wonderful place to relax in between all the activities you can do in Utrecht. In this period it is a bit colder in this room, so an extra thick sweater can't hurt. But is totally worth it.

We were quite happy during hour stay. Our host was quite helpful and hot tub with that view was an amazing experience!

The cabin is cozy and very comfy. The host is very attentive and helpful. The location is beautiful and peaceful. All the appliances necessary are in the cabin and more :) Overall it is a nice way to spend time with a close person in a peaceful and cozy place.

The house in the back of the garden is simply wonderful. Large living room,TV only in Dutch and English, if you absolutely need ,the bathroom with bath and shower, bedroom with very comfortable beds and two small rooms of which one with bed is suitable for adults. Other rooms with floor bed more intended for children, but we did not need it. There are mosquito nets in every window, which is super important because a small stream flows right next to it. In addition, very large garden with plenty of space for any activities. Kitchen fully equipped, also with dishwasher and even tabs . Everything is also very nicely decorated and the owners pay a lot of attention to nature-friendly behavior ,which is also important to us. The car and bikes are right outside the door. And the best part is the location - no neighbors far and wide , tranquility and pure nature! Eifach perfect 🤩 Thanks again for everything 🤗

For flower season, this is a gorgeous place to stay. We knew we were too early for tulip season but the field behind the cottage was filled with daffodils anyway. We walked to town (about 25 min on foot) for rental bikes and biked the nearby bulb fields all week long. The hyacinth fields were amazing and the air smelled so good! For meal planning purposes, as described, the kitchen is small with a microwave, small fridge, and hot plate. There’s only one small cooking pot that needs to be cleaned in the bathroom sink just a step away. But we had great cold breakfasts with tea, some microwave meals from Albert Heijn, and even made some great vegetable soup in that one pot. The wood stove was cozy and the deck by the canal with the daffodils was dreamy for knitting, reading, and playing guitar. The whole garden was amazingly cared for and the inspiring. This is a great close-to-nature getaway spot (we also biked to the beach almost every day). Highly recommended. We’d stay here again.

A great way to stay in Egmond. You are immersed in nature and yet quickly on the beach and in the village center. The cabin is totally cozy and well equipped. We will be back!

Very loving and furnished with attention to the details. In summer due to the proximity to the beach certainly very attractive, in autumn for very central home base for day trips to The Hague, Amsterdam, etc. Nothing is missing from the equipment. The house is very clean. No shyness from access via Nuki app - easy! We had a pleasant stay!

Our stay at the chalet was just amazing! The accommodation corresponded exactly to the description and offered everything we needed for a relaxing short trip. We would like to emphasise the great communication with Melisa. She was very friendly and proactive with helpful recommendations that made our stay even more enjoyable. This cozy chalet nestled in a family owned campground only minutes from the beach called ‘Ijmuiden aan Zee’ is a real gem! It has everything you need to create a home base & to unwind, get your steps in & swim in The North Sea. The hospitable hosts were able to help us with anything from directions to the nearby bikes paths in the dunes, to bike rentals, with a shop for an array of supplies.
