Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Daventry District

My hostess was Jane, James' mother. She was absolutely lovely and made me feel completely at home. The manor house is full of history and has been lovingly restored by Jane and her late husband. Jane is a font of knowledge on the history of the house of which she is rightly proud. The gardens are beautiful, containing many rare species and in June must be spectacular with the roses in full bloom. I was lucky enough to be able to watch an amazing play about Shakespeare's women in the Manor barn as Jane's guest during my stay. The village itself is also beautiful, with a local pub just a short stroll away and an award winning pub in a neigbouring village 5 mins drive or 40 mins walk.

Me and my daughter really loved our stay. Shame it was only for 1 night. It was a short notice booking and Beverly was flexible about our check in time. We really had the best sleep on the comfiest bed . The house is full of charm and both of them made us feel so welcome oh and not forgetting the gorgeous Florence the doodle. I enjoyed having breakfast and having a chat with Beverly. We would definitely go back next time I’m in Moulton.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Old Tom's, our hosts were very friendly, made us feel welcome, we loved the room , the bed was amazingly comfortable, we slept solidly al night. The breakfast was delicious, one of the best we've had, we will definately visit again.

Joseph and his wife were both incredibly welcoming and helpful after my long day of travelling and watersports. Their beautiful house felt secure and safe, and breakfast was delicious. I'd certainly recommend to anyone looking for a homely place to stay in the area.

Daniel was very accomodating. The stay on the farm with all the new lambs was lovely. The breakfast was very delicious. The room was clean and well appointed.

I needed a place to stay as I was working at a local running event nearby with my daughter. Dawn and her family welcomed us and were very attentive. I’m gutted we didn’t have more time to spend with them as it was almost a flying visit and they were very kind and offered us various snacks etc. We highly recommend staying at their place and would not hesitate booking again when in Bedford. Thanks Dawn!

Robert and Julie Anne are wonderful hosts and such a delightful couple! We had a great weekend stay at their B&B, with a lovely breakfast both mornings. The outdoor space is very pleasant with a nice view of the setting sun over the hill. Rooms were as advertised and had everything you could need. Look forward to coming back!

Simply idyllic countryside village, the Old School brings back memories of childhood days and Sall-Anne is its caring Head Mistress. My 11-year-old son loved it, which says everything.

Tony and Helen were were kind and caring even if we didn’t get the chance of meeting in person. I found the place in very good condition, all furniture looks new and everything was very clean. They also provided some food for breakfast, including some milk which I appreciated. Comfort of the bed was ok. Thank you!

Lovely stay with a lovely couple. Check in was a bit of a bit of a hiccup, but I was early so not their fault. Make very welcome at this quirky little B&B. Would highly recommend I’m you want a home from home!

Lovely place to stay in the heart of this quaint cottage box village. The hosts were very welcoming and our room was clean with what looked to be a recently installed ensuite. Good gin selection too :-)
