David’s home is welcoming and comfortable and the location is outstanding—it’s easy to walk to many restaurants and shops and downtown Palo Alto and a beautiful residential area for walks. The kitchen is spacious and the beds comfortable. He is welcoming and responds quickly to questions. This listing is a treasure.

Such a nice place to stay in Silicon Valley. Tucked back into the beautiful hills, with a walking loop through the oak trees just down the street. Responsive host. A perfect retreat.

The home was great to accommodate our 5 person family and pet for 3 days. Beautiful views—loved waking up to seeing the sunrise! I appreciated the seclusion and even walking distance to a trailhead into the nearby preserve. A couple of our family members found getting to the location difficult and got lost. They ended up asking nearby homes for directions. They both used Apple maps, which cut off before the actual arrival, so I would recommend downloading an offline Google map and to stick with using Google maps for this location. There is no cell reception, but once you connect to wifi in the house the wifi worked well for my work from home needs including doing video meetings. Prisha was accommodating with, in exchange for a fee, to allow us to check in early and check out late, which was much appreciated.

Lovely place with a homey feel and plenty of space to gather as a family. The house was very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. We also love the backyard and easy parking. Stuart is a great host and we look forward to returning soon!

This was an absolutely lovely stay on a beautiful property surrounded by lovely scenery, hikes, and wildlife. Our hosts were extremely warm and welcoming, and very responsive. Very accommodating of some nice amenities for our little toddler, and he appreciated the child friendly environment and the array of games and toys to keep him entertained. Thank you so much for everything!

Great host and very reasonable and flexible with our need

This home and host were great! Mike was quick, responsive and very easy to work with. Their home is beautiful and described very accurately in the posting. Best part is the fantastic back yard and awesome location! Just a walk to Castro St which is filled with shops, great spots to eat and meet friends. We had a great stay here and will likely be back in the future.

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend here for a romantic Valentine's Day trip, and it was beyond what we could have imagined! Catherine and her husband are so sweet and incredibly proactive with their communication and instructions. The house was stocked with everything we could have possibly anticipated needing, including kitchen tools/supplies and easy TV streaming. The pictures truly don't do it justice! The surrounding wooded areas were so private and peaceful. Absolutely gorgeous space inside and out. We honestly cannot wait to return someday! <3 Highly, highly recommend.

What a hidden gem! This place is truly an oasis right in the middle of the Bay Area. The home is quiet, peaceful, serene, and enchanting in every way. My husband and I were delighted with Quan’s kindness and hospitality. We had a photoshoot in the garden. We relaxed by the pool. We walked around town like locals. We enjoyed brunch at a local restaurants a few blocks away. The house itself is a beautiful Spanish villa that you can get lost in the majesty of. We loved opening the windows to hear the water fountain and birds chirping. We also loved the luxurious small touches like linen sheets, down duvets and pillows, marble shower, perfect water pressure, lush towels and robes, Pellegrino, slippers, and toiletries. We also enjoyed just sitting peacefully in the garden and soaking in nature. We will definitely stay here again. What incredible memories. We love this place!

What a gem! We had a wonderful time at Steve’s house. The house is beautiful, functional and well decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more. The property itself was incredible - private and peaceful with many activities for kids (and adults). The house is also ideally located close to downtown Los Gatos. Quick and kind responses from our host. We will definitely try and stay here again.

Definitely five star quality of decor and architecture..Qian was super accommodating, absolutely amazing - so kind, and friendly. And the bed was super comfortable and atmosphere was very tranquil. We felt like we were in Tuscany. I would definitely stay again. Thank you Qian :)

absolutely gorgeous location, with so much space!!! we had an absolute blast, and we are from the mountains so the roads albeit a little crazy weren't bad for us. the place is super easy to find we got there at night but it is marked just as Chris let us know and we had no trouble finding it. it was about a 35 minute drive to santa cruz, and feels so removed from the hustle and bustle of the city it was fantastic!!! the kids (2, 5, 11 and 14) all loved it as well and had so much fun!!! It was so peaceful and gorgeous, we would definitely recommend and would stay again!!!

My son and I just spent four days at Gracie's cabin in La Honda, and it surpassed all expectations. The setting is stunning and incredibly peaceful, nestled among trees and ferns. The cabin was spotless and impeccably maintained. While we didn't spend much time cooking, the kitchen was stocked with all the necessary appliances and plenty of snacks. Gracie was prompt and effective in her communication. I would absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit to the area.

Just an amazing vacation! This place is just breathtaking. The house is creatively decorated, very clean and full of fun amenities. The beds were comfy and large, with warm bedding and lots of pillows. Please take heed on how the host describes the road up to the house, it is a bit treacherous, but well worth it. The kiddos loved watering the plants to invite the banana slugs. Great place to stay.

It was a great location and space but for the cost, the late check in and early check out requirements were surprising. Overall a beautiful home and view, we wished we could’ve stayed longer.
