Far enough from the noise and bustle of life, but within easy access to the real world, only a 15-minute drive from the M6. The cottage is a traditional '2 up 2 down' that has been modernised sympathetically for a cosy break away. Bedding and towels provided. Heat is provided by storage heaters and the front room has a log burning stove for a super cosy stay. There is a selection of books, maps, DVD's & children's toys. You can take the car ferry to the far side of the lake from Bowness, or explore lake Windermere with the Lake cruises that leave Bowness.
