If I had an issue or question the phone numbers provided were very responsive. Lovely house. Big and spacious. Great views from ours. Nice warm temperature inside. The hot tub might not be hot on the first day of book in though.

A large group of us stayed here for a Christmas getaway and it was the perfect venue! There was plenty of room for all of us without being on top of each other. The woodlands manor cottage is beautiful, cozy and homely. The kitchen is very well kitted out with everything we needed to make a roast for a large group. The venue was a huge hit with everyone, and the indoor heated pool and games room were definitely an added highlight. The venue is as described in the photos and if anything, is bigger than the photos show! Lots of passages and rooms and space for people to have some time to their self. The large living room and log burner provide a great atmosphere for a large group. The aga and electric oven were perfect for making large meals. The surrounding area is gorgeous. Plenty of bathrooms for a large group. Large dining area was perfect for our group meals. Hosts were very responsive and made our stay fantastic. Can not recommend this lovely venue enough!

This airbnb was a beautiful place to stay. Everything was as described in the listing and the whole place was immaculately clean! The kitchen had everything you needed and was huge, as was the upstairs lounge. Thank you so much

Lovely short stay to spend time with family. Rowan Cottage was cosy, warm, perfect for our needs. The swimming pool was great entertainment too.

Could not have asked for a better stay , the open space as well as the calmness as well is amazing. The children toys is such a big plus.

We absolutely loved our stay at High Park ! We were on our minimoon and had our chocolate Labrador, Hershey, with us and we couldn't have asked for a better location! we loved the fact that we had exclusive access to the large swimming pool and hot tub for parts of the day! Anne even recommended a swim at night with the lights turned off and just the underwater pool lights off as it was so relaxing and we completely agree! Location was fab, you do need to be prepared to drive to places, but there's plenty of nice towns all within a 30 minute drive! lots of dog friendly beaches too! The accommodation was perfect and when I tell you that the bed was MASSIVE, I mean it!!!! Anne also left us some fresh milk from the farm next door and we could also purchase more from the Milk Kiosk if we wanted to! This included adding flavourings to make Raspberry ripple , chocolate, banana and many more milk flavours! She also left us scones, cream and jam! 100% would recommend! Thank you !! ❤️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great house in lovely location. Layout suited us well (2 families with kids and grandparents). Washing facilities proved very useful. Pool rota worked well and there was always a time available that suited us (open 8am-7pm). Host responded quickly. Lacking house guidance but not a problem and host responded to advise. Note access into house could be an issue for less able and push chairs-steep steps to front and lowest step broken away (advised host so this might get fixed). Rear access via steps and narrow sloping and muddy path. Parking to rear -you block in your other car. Parking spaces not spacious but adequate. We loved it thank you Beach Retreats!

Badgers House was the perfect venue and location for a large family break. House was well equipped and comfortably furnished. The indoor pool proved a knockout with the children - especially as the weather wasn’t great! The indoor games room was a hit for the male adults, who enjoyed hours of pool, and they hit the gym too. The woodland walk was perfect, we spotted a male deer, the children loved it! Hide and seek in the house was so exciting and kept the little ones entertained for hours! Thank you to Max and Alex for being superb hosts and giving us this beautiful home and setting to enjoy. Our granddaughter broke her heart to have to leave! We will definitely be returning and may need Toad Hall next time for more family members to come along and enjoy the beauty of this peaceful place.

Stayed with some friends in late February to walk some of the South West Coast Path. The location was ideal a few minutes walk from the coast. The house was really warm comfortable and well equipped. Nicola was incredibly helpful in answering all our questions about the property and the check in was effortless. The Pack O’Cards pub is a few minutes walk away and is terrific with good food and a quiz night on Saturday! All in all a great stay.

We come to Devon every year to visit family and staying in air BnB for first time for babies first holiday. Lovely house, warm, homely had had all the amenities and working facilities. Lynda had left milk and cookies on arrival which was lovely there was a travel cot and high chair ready for us. Location was great as lots to see and do, recommend squires fish and chips. Would defiantly come back and stay here again.

Excellent place - really well thought out design that utilised every last inch of space and very good quality fittings. Nice modern touches with oil fired heating controls, electric velux windows, popup tv in the bed and more. Its also very peaceful, and with two good pubs within walking distance you're well served. The only thing missing is the local grocery store. This had closed permanently a week before we arrived - there are others fairly close by but you'll need to drive on the very narrow roads. All in all a lovely place and Rich was a very good host with fast, friendly comms. Highly recommended.

Fantastic property in a great location. The house has lots going for it...flexible accommodation - all very well kitted out, private hot tub in the enclosed sunny rear garden, very useful outside heated shower for getting the beach off you and prepping for the hot tub, the whole place has a lovely feel to it. Location-wise, it's only a short drive to some of the best beaches in the country....we SUP'd at Hele Bay, body-boarded at Woolacombe, and ate ice cream everywhere! Close enough to larger towns like Barnstaple and Ilfracombe, but walkable to the lovely Braunton with it's mix of pubs and restaurants. It's a great home, beautifully located.

We were a group of 15 people (and 3 dogs), ages from 18 months to 70 years old, we absolutely loved Thurlibeer, it is a little dated but that only adds to it's attraction, the house feels very warm and comfortable. There are plenty of games, TVs, reading material and equipment to keep eveyone of all ages occupied, the beds were all comfortable and plenty of bathrooms and toilets. The lounges (there are two) are very comfy and can sit a good number of people. The kitchen is very large and well appointed including a large electric range type cooker with twin ovens and separate grill, microwave, dishwasher and two large fridge freezers (one in the utility room) The huge kitchen table is just wonderful ! Thurlibeer has ample parking. Supermarkets are a short drive (Morrisons and Sainsbury's). The garden is private and provides lovely views of the bay and wonderful sunsets, there is also play equipment, We thoroughly recommend Thurlibeer

It was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, was exactly as described, if not better. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location was unbeatable, situated close to everything.

We had a great stay at the house. Really comfortable and spacious. We were 2 x families of 5 plus a dog and the house was perfect. A short walk into Bude which is lovely. Very convenient to be near Morrisons and the shops. Thanks Anna and Sally, we hope to return one day.

Perfect place for us to stay when visiting family. Natalie was incredible when dealing with an issue we had on our first night (which was also Christmas Day/ Boxing Day!!!). The place really felt like home by the time we left and we look forward to staying (for the third time) again soon!

lovely house, really spacious. we were a group of 5 lads working in the area and the kitchen was big enough for us all to cook individual meals each night, the sauna was a perfect way to relax in the evening. the bedrooms, en-suites and family bathroom were bang on. would have been better if the hot tub was electric and the pool table was in the house. but that's being picky.

The house was clean and bright with clear instructions on using the facilities. Its within walking distance of the village and the beaches are an easy drive away. Zoe was available, friendly and responsive to my messages. The local shop around the corner from the house is also a plus!

Really beautiful little house, and the minimalist decor is really calming, and the couch was so comfortable that it feels very relaxing as soon as you step inside. It was nice and warm, clean and dry, perfect to come home to after a long day walking on the coast path. It is right on the bus route so easy to get to the beach or walk into town and surrounded by a very peaceful neighbourhood.

What an incredible house, as soon as we walked in the door, we felt at home, beautifully decorated for Christmas with everything we could need, we had a spectacular few days celebrating Christmas with all the grandchildren- the house was perfect for our multi-generational family. Space for all to play, sit quietly, listen to music or just relax, kids made fantastic use of hot tub - and sitting looking at them all around the table last night - memories were made. Thank you Issy and Charlie no questions too stupid and such lovely touches that made the stay perfect.

We were a three generation family of 6 adults and 4 boys ranging from 18 months to 5 years. The accommodation was perfect for our needs. The room with games and toys was lovely and the boys referred to it as their office😀 lovely holiday

We loved our stay here; the home was fantastic. Our group consisted of six adults and three young kids. From the kids' perspective, the house was amazing for playing hide and seek, monster chasing, and a huge added bonus was the two Shetland ponies in the backyard. They named the ponies Isabella and Glacier (after characters from Unicorn Academy). They loved the chance to get up close and pet them. The kids also enjoyed pizza from La Bocca (would recommend) while watching the amazing sunsets in the evenings. We were delighted to see them draw the sunset on a canvas using pastels. Overall, we enjoyed the place so much. Cooking for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was great, and with the open-plan kitchen, everyone got involved, making our time together really special. From the perspective of cold water dippers, the adventurous among us were swimming in the sea every day in March from various locations. They were spoiled for choice, as there are so many options.
