Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Cromer

Excellent accommodation over looking the river with a pub/restaurant within 100m. Local walks to exercise or look at the local nature. Ideal accommodation to fit our family in and a great place to relax or travel to local attractions. Emma was great providing us with all the useful information you would otherwise have to research yourself. All the space was spot on and the hot Tub was fantastic to relax in either day or night. Would definitely recommend.

After a rocky start at another property which was entirely unsuitable we found Georgie’s home nearby and it was perfect! We were so lucky it was available and Georgie was so accommodating at the last minute. It really felt like we were staying at a friends house and we felt immediately at home the moment we walked in the door. It was clean, welcoming and you could tell it was a loved and happy home. Staying at Georgie’s house made our Christmas so special and relaxing. It was like a home away from home; full of love and warmth in the decor and atmosphere. Great to be so close to the coast and great amenities yet in a very quiet and peaceful environment. We were sad to leave and will definitely always consider it as a go to place when visiting north Norfolk.

We had a fantastic four night stay. The property is very easy to find and the check in instructions very clear and easy. There was a beautiful lemon drizzle cake and some lovely apple juice waiting for us on arrival which was much appreciated and enjoyed by everyone. There were 7 of us but the property is very spacious and laid out in such a way that we never felt on top of each other. It is also extremely cosy and welcoming. When we ate in we could all fit round the table comfortably and when we sat down in the evening to relax there was ample room for everyone to be comfortable. This is probably the best equipped Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The range of crockery, glasses, pots and pans etc is enormous and there was nothing we needed that we didn’t find. Frances is a very responsive, friendly and efficient host and we would love to return in the future.

This is the second time we've stayed at The Pretty Fox, and we loved it--again! It's a very cosy house that has many historic features, and Wanda and Tom make you feel completely "at home." It's also a perfect place for walking into Diss, which is a great little town. We highly recommend this home.

Beautifully warm despite being only 2 degrees outside. Lovely quirky property but worth mentioning (as others have previously) that the characterful flooring might not be so suitable for young children or those less abled. The decor made the house feel very homely. Very responsive to messages. Would definitely come back.

Just returned from a 4 night New Year break with my family (2 adults and 4 children). We had a very enjoyable time. The location of the property was fantastic, very central and everything in 5/10 min walking distance. The property itself was spot on, plenty of space, very clean, well-equipped kitchen and it was lovely that the Xmas decorations were still up! Kathryn was very easy to communicate with prior to our arrival. She also made us aware of a few minor problems beforehand that really didn’t impact us at all but it was great to have that info upfront. All in all a very enjoyable stay and we definitely would stay here again when visiting Cromer.

I have stayed at the cottage a few times now and it always delivers. Ben keeps his properties in pristine condition and ensures a warm welcome. when we arrived on a cold night the log burner had been lit so it was literally a very warm welcome. Ben the owner as usual checked in with us to make sure everything was satisfactory then leaves you to enjoy your break. However, if you do need anything or have any questions he is really responsive. As stated I have stayed here multiple times and can highly recommend the properties and Ben as a host.

What a fantastic location. We hope to return. And we loved the place, the kitchen is really nice (bigger than it looks on the photos) and everything about the flat was lovely. You won't find a better located place to stay in Cromer if you want a one bedroomed flat. I can't wait until we return (as we surely will). A lovely October weekend.

A great home in beautiful surroundings. The property was lovely and cosy, a great log fire and hot tub. As a family of 3 we all enjoyed our stay, the beds were very comfortable as was the home, the property was very clean and well looked after, it had all we needed for our stay. The hosts are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and always on hand should you need. We would definitely stay again, a bonus for us was it being dog friendly, our Guide Dog was made to feel very welcome and she enjoyed the on site dog exercise field too. Thank you for having us in your beautiful home.

We have stayed at Angie’s place previously and was so welcoming we booked again. It is ideally situated with free parking and everything on your doorstep. The apartment is extremely clean, comfortable and very quiet. All the additional touches were welcomed. We had a wonderful stay.

Great experience, we loved our stay. there are 5 bell tents and a couple of lodges within walking distance of each other. Each site is far enough away from each other to feel private but also close enough to have a bit of a community feel to it. The communal kitchen is more than equipped, we brought far too much with us "just in case"! Lewis was often around if needed and was very responsive with any queries. We would highly recommend. Wonderful weekend base for sons couple of football games that happened to be in the same area. Incredibly responsive host, and probably the most immaculately clean airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Board games and card games were played and the dvds in the kids bedroom were watched. A wonderful couple of family nights spent away. Highly, highly recommended.

Fantastic home that was spotless on arrival. We stayed in February so after a day exploring in the cold it was so cosy to come home and light the log burner. Sheringham has everything you need within a 5 minute walk. Great place, helpful host and a great location.

A lovely stay, in a lovely house. Perfectly situated for being right in the middle of town, which our boys loved as the weather wasn’t great this time.. so the amusements got a fair few visits. Lovely kitchen and great for the extended family we had come with us. Christian was so accommodating with us having a young son with diabetes and travelling with insulin. Lovely welcome pack too, which was much appreciated. Thank you !

What an amazing place Shepley House is! We had a great family time and enjoyed the place very much. The attention to details is lovely (hamper on arrival with card, dog towels, wood for the burner, everything you can think about and need in the kitchen!). The garden and woods are beautiful and the whole place has a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. We had few questions during our stay and the communication was quick and helpful. Thank you so much to the Shepley team, we made some great memories to cherish! We recommend this place with no hesitation!

Our stay at this beautiful house made sure Christmas 2024 was wonderful! Three generations were so very comfortable, the house has everything you need and so much more! The grandson's adored the warm pool and the space the house provided. The adults loved the home from home feel, the top quality appliances in the kitchen used for Christmas lunch, the amazing facilities, the short walk round the corner to the lovely beach and the nearby pub where everyone was so welcoming! Couldn't have wished for a better stay.

Great house and very clean, I’m a keen cook and the kitchen was very well equipped. Good location and close to bewilderwood, handy as we travelled with three young kids. It did lack that friendly touch as felt like it was run as a business and having to pay an extra £25 per night for every night of our stay to use the hot tub left a sour taste but also understand these things are an expensive thing to run these days.
