Amazing location, easy enough to get to with local shops nearby if needed while also being far away to get some peace and privacy within the countryside. Katie has great response time and has great communication sorting out some issues we were faced with during the upcoming days of our stay. Overall it was a really pleasant experience and would definitely recommend.

We had a fabulous 2 nights stay in Milsom cottage . The view was amazing and the cottage so cosy and warm from the AGA . The peace and quiet was glorious! The cottage’s fixtures and fittings and amenities were of great quality and it felt like a real treat to be staying there . We would definitely return, there is still so much to see and do in the area . Thank you Victoria for a lovely stay

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lodge. The house was beautiful and had everything you could need for a perfect stay, the extra touches were very thoughtful & much appreciated. We particularly enjoyed the sauna and hot tub; and we appreciated the tranquility of the garden and scenic views that added that extra touch of relaxation. Michelle was the an amazing host. Her communication was fantastic throughout the booking process and during our stay, she was incredibly welcoming and made sure everything went smooth for us. Thank you!

Such a beautiful and accommodating place. the only down side is we didn't stay long enough. our dogs had such a lovely time, everything was perfect and exactly as imagined We. can't recommend highly enough. We will definitely be back as it was perfect!

Ah such a lovely home-from-home. Jules is a very thoughtful host who has literally thought of all the little things to make the place feel welcoming and homely. We had a great time there and the only thing we would change is that we wished we’d stayed longer! Perfect stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Quiet and peaceful with plenty of walks. Mike was very friendly and happy to share his knowledge of the local area. The lake house was spotlessly clean and kitchen well equipped. Glad we brought all our provisions with us as local shops some distance away. Mike was very helpful with my elderly mother, very patient and nothing too much trouble. The highland cattle were an added bonus. If you’re looking for a quiet few days away then mikes place is the perfect getaway. Thank you for your kindness Mike it was much appreciated.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable. We spent a very comfortable night in this beautiful location. We slept well in the comfortable bed and woke up with a hot shower. Bring your walking/running shoes to explore the lake. Looking forward to our next visit, we will be back.

A beautifully quiet time away was spent here. The garden was peaceful and the place has everything you needed to relax, we didn't leave the whole time! The fire kept the yurt warm and the hot tub was a lovely way to unwind. I would recommend to anybody.
