Vacation rentals in Cranshaws

What a great place for our family to stay for the week. We got to visit our daughter at her hall and also cook some of the foods she was missing. It was super close to everything and not a bad price considering its location.

Delightful coastal feel with comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 babies. Lisa and Gavin were very helpful throughout the whole process.

We had a lovely, quiet and relaxing weekend at Liz’s cottage with the family. It was exactly what we all needed. Perfect location for those staying with dogs as there are lovely walks in all directions. Looking forward to staying again in the future. Great amenities within the property for cooking, relaxing and playing board games, we also all enjoyed the indoor and outdoor wood burning fires too. Liz also stopped by after we had settled in to answer any questions we may have had upon arrival and delivered us some fresh eggs which were excellent.

Words cannot describe how amazing Simone is and her gorgeous retreat. I took my Dad away for a little trip away as he is rather poorly and the original place I had booked was appalling! So bad I refused to stay. Thinking I'd have to take my Dad back home as finding somewhere suitable for his needs is slim picking, never mind on an August Friday night at 6pm, last weekend of the summer holidays. Nevertheless, after refusing to give up I found this gem, both in Simone and her retreat. Just what we needed . Simone went above and beyond from the second I placed the booking, she rang me straight away, said she would met us there, she had the retreat warming through for us, lights on and made us feel absolutely at home. So much so I had to give her a hug. The whole experience from start to finish was 10 star. The place is beautiful, the views are outstanding, area is perfect. My Dad is dying to go back already. And I can't wait to take him. See you soon x

Beautiful and very spacious appartement with direct access to the beach. We very much enjoyed walking on the beach and exploring the charming region with highlights such as St. Andrews, Crail, St. Monans, Anstruther, Falkland, Dumfernline, which are all close by. Only 1 hour from Edinburgh Airport. Shona is a very attentive and kind host and she provided us impressively quickly with wood, torches, candles and power banks after a power cut in the town, thereby contributing to a romantic evening before the fireplace. We would definitely come back another time.

Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Michael as he was away but we did meet the lovely Carol who was there on our arrival. We had a brilliant 2nt stay in the Partridge Hut. It was exactly the same as the photos. A comfortable bed and large powerful shower. It had everything you needed for such a compact space. We were fortunate with the weather and were able to use the outdoor seating and even got the fire pit going on the 1 nt. It was lovely to wake up to the birdsong and the little bunnies hopping around. We ate at the Milecastle Inn which was recommended by Carol and was spot on and then had fish and chips at the Ocean takeaway in Haltwhistle the last nt. Hadrians Wall is just on your doorstep and the Lanercost Priory which is in walking distance from the hut. A great tearoom and gift shop there too. If you’re after a quiet and relaxing time, Michael’s place is perfect and we will definitely return.

We feel blessed to have been fortunate enough to stay here and it will truly be a highlightof our 5 week trip. There was nothing we didn't fall in love with. The space - AMAZING! Gordon & Bobbie as hosts - AMAZING! The town - AMAZING What you can get to - AMAZING We can't recommend it highly enough!

2nd time staying here and already looking for ward to the third! Would highly recommend, just as the photos, hot tub is great and amenities are all little things that make this place great! Mark is such a great host!

We had a wonderful stay at Claire’s charming apartment! It was cozy, well-located, and made exploring the city on foot a breeze. Claire was an amazing host—quick to respond and very helpful. Highly recommend!
