Vacation rentals in Crabtree Falls

Our family of 6 went on our first ski trip at Sugar Mountain and Appalachian Mountain and stayed in Faith's condo. We loved the location. Walkable to many restaurants. We walked to get ice cream at night. Short drive to Sugar Mountain. Condo was very clean and spacious. Faith was very responsive with questions and concerns. We had a little mishap where the bed frame broke the first night upon sitting on the bed (he is 190 pounds). We had to make do and share 2 bedrooms between the 6 of us. Faith had the bed fixed by the next day and refunded us a small portion for the inconvenience. We were grateful for her responsiveness. I can see other Airbnb owners blaming the renters and charging them extra instead. Overall a great experience and great memories for our first ski trip. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

This home sets the bar for Airbnb standards! Everything was flawless, and they thought of every little detail. With an abundance of board and card games, there was never a dull moment. The cleanliness was exceptional. Our guest was truly impressed by the effort and attention to detail that went into the home. If I had known they would exceed our expectations, I wouldn’t have packed half of our things— they truly covered everything. We’ll definitely be back soon!

My family and I loved our stay at Jim’s place. It was a great week, lots of space for the whole group, and had what we needed! Huge bonus was that it snowed the last full day we were there and my Florida kids got to enjoy the snow!!

Beautiful little house and extremely convenient to Asheville / I-26, worked perfectly as a home base while we were in town for an music festival in the city. The house itself is very new and neat as a pin, quite comfortable for our weekend stay and surrounded by rolling hills of old farmland. We were greeted each morning by deer in the front yard, and enjoyed stargazing under the sycamores every clear evening. One thing to note: although the property itself feels rural, it is very close to a truck stop and the highway, so it's not always peaceful outside; we didn't really mind but something to note for guests who prefer seclusion and solitude. Inside, however, is cozy and well-appointed, with comfy linens and lots of windows to take in the views. We loved the dormer window with views of the nearby mountains that looked like a painting! Would definitely stay here again, especially with the easy 20ish minute drive to Asheville.

Great place to stay. Very clean with lots of games and things to do inside when not enjoying local attractions.

The condo was amazing. It was a recommendation from a friend and didn’t disappoint. The kitchen had all the necessities. The beds were comfy and pillows exceptional. If we come back to Banner Elk we would stay here again. It’s a perfect location between both mountains. Brian was helpful and communicative for all our needs.

House was very nice and interactions with Mr Lake Lure is always friendly and prompt. FYI this house is incredibly secluded which is not a bad thing. But there is no visibility/beautiful mountain views if that is what you’re hoping for. But we did have a few bear sightings!! This is not a complaint. We were very happy with our stay!

My buddy’s and I have an amazing time this weekend snowboarding and this Airbnb was part of what made this last weekend so great. Affordable, cozy, and warm. Also, very close to both mountains to snowboard which is awesome!
