This beautiful property is off the beaten path, peaceful and bucolic, cozy and well appointed ... close to all you want to see and do in Portland. We woke to birdsong and woodpeckers, strolled through the vineyards, and then picnicked under the cherry blossoms along the Williamette in downtown Portland for lunch! The kitchen had everything we needed for a fun family dinner with game playing around the farmhouse table when the weather turned rainy in the evening. Highly recommended!

Spent a wonderful time at the Carter House! Large, cozy suite in a beautiful neighborhood that is walkable to all the downtown Vancouver spots. My only caveat would be the WIFI/Internet in the suite is very hit or miss, so would not recommend if you are planning on heavy internet usage, but otherwise a great experience!

We really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this place for families as our daughter found the toy stash very quickly and it helped her keep her entertained while we were able to have some moments of relaxation.

The country location is a plus, was very quiet. Traffic marginal for those going to and returning from work. Not enough to really even mention in our case. Was a positive for post surgery recovery. Was not a fan of flannel sheets but suitable. Would return in the future.

Wonderful location as our family traveled for a sports tournament. Great town!

We had an amazing weekend staying here as a group of eight! We spent our time by the fire, cooking delicious meals, playing board games, and even discovering the secret room, which was a fun surprise. It was the perfect opportunity to disconnect for the weekend (there's no WiFi, as mentioned in the listing, but phone reception was still good). While the space was a bit snug for eight adults, it was exactly what we needed for a relaxing mountain getaway!

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely wonderful! The house was even more beautiful in person than the photos, and it was exactly as described. Everything was impeccably clean, which made us feel right at home. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the comfortable atmosphere. If you're looking for a perfect place to stay in Vancouver, we highly recommend this Airbnb. You won't be disappointed!

The room is a large renovated garage and you wouldn't even be able to tell without looking at the closed off garage door. It's spacious and very accomodating.

Everything was clean and the place felt like a home, would definitely return!

Lynne is so generous to share her property with others. We enjoyed a good rest full of peace and the sound of nature all in the back yard. Looked at the stars at night while enjoying the hot tub. Walked around the property to see the live animals including Lucy the dog. I felt right at home. We experienced wonder every day. If you can stay more than one night it is so worth it especially since town is close. Thanks again, Lynne.

This was a beautiful home and met our needs. We took 2 coaches and 11 wrestlers to a tournament and stayed here. It was perfect. The game room was great. Ammenities were exactly what we needed. Would highly recommed for team use for big events in the area. We hope to use this listing every time we are in area.

This was nice and quite cute place stuffed with everything what you need. Lot of extra stuff in a case you need. Mindee was great host, make you feel comfortable like at your own home. Next time when I’m in that area I’ll first check availability of this place Definitely will recommend this place

Even though we stayed here during this rainy pre-spring/spring weather, the views were amazing. When the sunshine broke through no picture could do it justice. My wife, family, and myself were able to have a wondering time at this cozy cabin, and create some life long memories. Thank you, Lawrence & Ray

We loved the place for a good winter getaway to play in the snow. House was cozy and clean. Located right next to Mt Rainier national park. Fenced in yard was perfect for our doggy.

If peace and serenity are what you seek, look no further! The home and property are even more beautiful in person. The home was clean and comfy and private. We felt like we were staying at a friend’s house. Paula was very responsive and available if needed. They’ve taken excellent care of this house and land, and you can see it in every detail. We had a lovely stay and had everything we needed. What a spectacular piece of property!! As an aside - we did not bring dogs, but it would be a dog’s paradise. It is super CLEAN - no dog smell or stains or anything like that, so if you are dog-less - you won’t feel like you are in a “doggy” home :) Perfect spot. Would 100% recommend.

The Airbnb was right outside the national Park entrance easy to find simple parking very clean communication with the owner was amazing. Very attentive person. All the amenities described were as such all the utensils and everything we needed for cooking. amazing space loft was very interesting. Definitely could fit four adults. Maybe even more if you need to pull out couch extra blankets towels washer dryer all ready for you. Please follow the link that he sends for the hot tub and learn how to use it before it’s dark my only tip.

Lyle was incredibly nice and responsive with communication. His instructions were very clear and easy to follow to get to the property, into the property and how to leave it when we departed. Very cute space and very cozy.

This is such a great cozy cabin super close to Mt. Rainier! There were only 2 of us and we had soo much space inside!! You’re very close to the entrance to the park and the scenery around the cabin is so nice. We loved going to the Ukrainian restaurant in Ashbury- we highly recommend!

David was a great host, and his home is amazing! Very peaceful and close to a lot of great outdoor activities.

We had a lovely stay. The place was clean and very nice inside. The area was rural and it even got dark at night. This is a big plus for us city dwellers. The fire pit was wonderful.
