Patti was an amazing host. She made sure that we had everything we need and she went the extra mile providing toys for our toddler. The house was beautiful. Very peaceful neighbourhood and you can just walk to the beach where you can find nice restaurants and a playground. Perfect getaway for families. And the heated pool is the icing on the cake

It was absolutely wonderful staying at Joanne's home. It was very comfortable and loved the outdoor firepit. Very peaceful and lovely home. We would love to come back again for another visit.

We had the most beautiful Thanksgiving gathering at Casey’s Porch on the bay for an extended family reunion. The house is lovely - spacious, gorgeous and cozy at the same time. The views on the water were amazing. There were plenty of beds and ‘hang out’ spots for our tweens and teens, and 3 private baths for the adult couples were much appreciated. And our hosts could not have been more helpful and friendly. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to make more happy memories together!

The area and view are beautiful and the home's decor is welcoming. The home was very comfortable for our family group and had a VERY well-stocked kitchen. The master bed was VERY comfortable as were the rest of the beds. My husband and I slept well. We all felt at home. MJ was very responsive when I had questions and communicated about the property in clear, concise language. The host provided many outdoor recreation opportunities, which included paddleboards, kayaks, and life jackets. There was a nice sized pool but we were visiting out of season so we did not use it. The exercise room downstairs has a lot of equipment. We all enjoyed our time together. Our family is asking to come back again next year. Thanks for a great stay!

The location for this house is beautiful! We loved the private dock and spacious backyard. We stayed in late March so it was a bit cold some days but we still had a great time using the provided Kayaks and sitting on the dock and watching the beautiful surroundings. The location was perfect to have some s'mores nights around the firepit. The hosts were VERY responsive. The few times I had questions they replied within minutes and were very accomodating with our requests. They were very proactive with instructions and generously mentioned a foldable crib for the infant in our group - although we had our own that we used. The kitchen had all of the dinnerware and cookware that we needed for the meals that we made. The living areas were open and inviting. It was perfect for our group. One thing to watch for is the very steep driveway. It took a few times to get used to. We would definitely stay there again when we visit our family in the area.

Beautiful property and wonderful colonial era house. A bit pricey but the grounds and house made it palpable. New dock very solid. Wish there'd be more dock seating but we brought our own. Tree shade around the pool made it outstanding during the sunny heat. Just loved our stay and I can say we'd go back. Will seriously consider next summer, nothing but fond memories now. My biggest complaint is that we didn't have enough days there! 5 minutes to downtown Oxford. Nice big kitchen table for gathering. Outfitted very well be we really didn't use much, just spent most of the time in the surrounding towns and mostly in the pool or on the dock!!

Me and some friends stayed here and we all loved it. More than enough space and so much stuff/activities from movie nights to playing pool to hitting the hot tub and more to do in the house! We would definitely stay here again and the host was great.

Overall it was great stay. Laura was ready to accommodate my group of 22 ppl and had ample space. It was quiet and private place and we enjoyed the weather a lot. Clean place

Andrea was extremely proactive and responsive to our questions, even reaching out ahead of time to make sure we were aware of work being done and arranged for late check-out, a huge help for our group. The local recommendations were really appreciated, and it's such a beautiful location along the water.

We had an excellent time staying and Toby and Kim's place in Fishing Village. Very well maintained, a lot of essestials provided in home, has a personal dock and covered deck is a plus. Very responsive for some of the questions we had for food and other options. Truly a gem by the bay!

Second time staying here and you can’t beat the location. If you love being on the water and are looking for a nice escape, this is your place. Colin is a great host too. Highly recommend to everyone !

This house was perfect for our group. We had 12 staying and there was a room for everyone. We enjoyed all the amenities and spaces. We booked this place because of its remote location as we planned on spending our time together in one place. We enjoyed the movie theater, the gym and the bar area in the back building. The views are beautiful and peaceful as well! We truly loved this property! Couple of notes, Be careful on spiral staircase, we did have one small slip there, but not the first time our group has experienced this. Since we booked to stay on/inside property all weekend together, we cooked our own food. In addition to being beautiful, the oven is an old school gas stove. It is tricky to use and also on the smaller side. Once we figured it out, we managed. Just something to consider if you plan on cooking.

Nice place, had an issue with the ac but they had issues resolved quickly.

Dementria had impeccable communication! We had a lot of moving parts to our travel plans becoming delayed due to a big thunderstorm in North Carolina that prevented us from checking in until the next evening. Dee was gracious, understanding and cared about our well-being and comfort. We enjoyed our stay and her place is so AWESOME! Can't wait to come back!

If you are looking for a peaceful escape, you found it. Although this home can be used for large gatherings, it is also the perfect getaway for 2. My husband and I loved watching the water and the natural wildlife. DO NOT MISS THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE THIS HOUSE!

Clean, nicely decorated and cozy. Easy communication and a very nice place to visit for a couple of days. Had everything we needed right at hand.

Our group had a wonderful time at Phi's place. We especially enjoyed the water views and were pleasantly surprised by seeing Bald eagles, and so many cardinals! We loved spending our evenings around the firepit under the lights with views of the lake. Very pretty location. 2 new Kayaks arrived during our stay and we made good use of the kayaks, canoe and paddle boat. The house was very well suited for our large group of 16 moms who were there for a respite weekend getaway from the demands of daily caregiving for our sons living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. It was a delightful getaway! While we had plenty of bath towels on hand, our only suggestions would be to have included hand towels, washcloths and some extra dish towels. For some reason, we couldn't get the coffee pot/pods machine to work. But we had brought a small one with us so we got our morning coffee anyway.

We absolutely loved the house, the host and the view! The home was comfy and well equipped. Our only regret was coming on a night the neighborhood restaurant was closed (Mon-Wed) if we had been more prepared I would have brought food to make at the house as the closest food at night was 35-40 min away, no fault of the host at all. Every thing else was perfect. Would love to come back on a weekend and soak up the views and steamed shrimp at the restaurant nearby!

Lots of space inside. Kitchen well furnished, with new appliances. Bathrooms were spacious, both with huge walk-in showers. Water temperature was lukewarm, at best. Water heater needs adjustment. Bed configuration was strange. Master bedroom had two single beds, with no flexibility to put beds together. Only one TV in 3 BR home. Overall great accommodations, away from busy streets and noisy neighbors.

The home was lovely and well-appointed with everything you could need to enjoy a relaxing stay. The kitchen was well stocked; the outdoor spaces were well designed Raisa was friendly and very responsive.

Everything was exactly as advertised, plus many extra touches that made our stay great. Would like to come back when the temp is a little warmer, but the hot tub and water access were perfect even for early spring. Thanks Maria!

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house over looking the bay! The views all around the property were absolutely stunning, creating such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I was on a work trip with several coworkers, and the house was incredibly comfortable and spacious —it truly felt like home. The space was clean, safe, and well-maintained, making it the perfect retreat after long workdays. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to prepare a large family meal, which was a huge plus. Most importantly, our host was amazing—she was incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a serene and welcoming getaway. Thank you, for such a great experience!

We were overly pleased with the house and property. Such a beautiful space. We found sharks teeth on the private beach, saw herons and osprey from the deck and enjoyed the sounds of the waves throughout our visit. We will definitely come back for a visit!

Our family traveled from South Carolina for a funeral in LaPlata MD (a short drive away from this home). Jane's property was just what we needed to accommodate our family of 6. The house was clean, comfortable and well equip with everything that was needed. The ping pong table in the garage provided much needed entertainment when we had down time. The views were absolutely beautiful and we can not wait to come back. While there we enjoyed crabs at Captain John's crab house a couple of miles away. I would totally recommend this home to anyone that is traveling for business, leisure or just a peaceful, quiet getaway. Thanks Jane for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful home with us.
