Family-friendly vacation rentals in Coronado Beach

Alain’s place was great for my friends and I visiting for a long weekend. The house is exactly as described with plenty of space for all 5 of us to stay comfortably. The patios and hot tub were private despite being in a close proximity to neighbors. Walkable to the beach/boardwalk and plenty of restaurants. Alain was flexible and communicated with us before during and after the stay to ensure we were good to go. He even left us a welcome gift of delicious donuts! Would highly recommend for others looking to stay in the Mission area.

Great location. It's near a surfer beach, but if you're comfy with the ocean, it's a great hang. Also, within about 10m of the main La Jolla Beach which is superb. Cy has all your needs for a great beach stay: boogie board, umbrella, towels, chairs, sand mat, toys. Close location to some decent food. Cy communicates quickly and thoroughly, but otherwise stays out of your way. Place was very clean with a cool shower head. Neighbors in the apartment were very friendly as well. Would absolutely recommend for a beach stay.

Very Cozy house in the middle of everything. Enjoyed staying the weekend in the "Mansion" It definitely has plenty of space. It's landmark for sure, has an amazing outside garden setting with HOT hot tub!! Private parking in the back of the house. It is a duplex with another unit in the back of the property, but does not affect the stay any way! Would recommend for families!

Stayed for a long weekend with family and an infant and it was a perfect home base! Aaron was extremely responsive and everything about the place was comfortable and easy. Would stay again!

It was a very lovely the chest board was awesome and it was very private and Mr Jeff was and is a very QUICK responder and respectful and with a lot of care and concern.

Comfortable home with all the amenities. Close walking distance to beaches and restaurants. Quiet, friendly neighborhood.

We had a great stay at Larry’s place! The house is very clean and has all the amenities one might need. Our favorite place to hang out was the patio - you can see the sunsets right from the hot tub. Great location too, close to so many restaurants and walking distance to Belmont Park. The host was available to answer any questions and provided all the necessities and more. The garage had many beach toys available and we enjoyed flying the butterfly kite! Would definitely stay here again!

This place was amazing! I stayed here with my family, which included two dogs, and it was perfect! The house and yard were great for my family and pets, and the neighborhood is quiet and private. It was also close to many great restaurants and things to do. Isabelle was a great host! She left us a personalized message, cookies, snacks, and drinks for our check in and was extremely nice and responsive when we had questions. She also had some great recommendations for food and places to see nearby. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone, especially if you are looking for a family and pet friendly location close to many great spots in San Diego. I hope I get to come back to the area and stay here again in the future.

Nice, quiet stay that is super convenient walking distance to the San Diego Zoo. Host was very friendly and informative during our stay and made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend a stay if you’re planning on visiting the surrounding attractions.

I had a really comfortable stay and the location was great. The host responded to my requests right away. I had a great time.

Great location to be near my daughter who lives near there. Fully stocked kitchen! Very clean. Good parking. Very communicative owner. Very clean. Comfy beds. Good cable tv. Overall, we are very satisfied. The price is very steep esp with all the added taxes and fees from the company. But that’s not because of the owner. I will rent again next year, too.

We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed sitting around the fire in the evenings. There was plenty of space for our group. The water was hot and lasted through 7 showers each morning. Very close to everything and easy to get around.

This was a great find for us. We were in town to see our new Grandson and this was perfect. After spending all day with our daughter, son-in-law and grandson we often had dinner in Kensington that was conveniently located. The bathroom, bedroom and kitchen were all wonderful. It was great having fresh fruit, coffee and cookies when we arrived. Olga’s son Alex let us in and did a great job helping us understand everything. We def will be back

The yard is just gorgeous! We had a great stay and Mike and Tania were super responsive to any questions - they really went above and beyond!

We are so grateful to have been able to stay at Gwynn's place, it is so peaceful and lovely. Like a secret garden getaway. We loved all the small touches, and beauty of the space. Gwynn made us feel very welcome and comfortable! The pool is amazing and the outdoor spaces are delightful. Can't wait to stay here again.

Vanessa was very communicative & answered any questions right away. The location is PERFECT! A short walk to the beach. The house had so much for our kiddos to do & was fully equipped! Definitely kid friendly. The kitchen had everything you could need! The pool and hot tub were beautiful & clean! The downfall to the hot tub, is you have to turn it on an hour before you use it each time. I believe it’s new so they’re still working out some kinks with the buttons. Vanessa was helpful with this though. There are also apartment complexes that look down into the yard, so not much privacy. I would rate this a 5, but there are a few cons. We had 8 people in our group, 3 being children. Thankfully we were all family so we snuggled in, but I think it’s more like a 6 person house or you are on small cots. You’re kind of on top of each other. The floors are creaky so no sleeping in once someone is awake & the furniture could use some updating. It was torn. Overall the location makes it 5 stars

This place was everything I hoped for. First is the obvious value versus a hotel. A fraction of the price and already meets the basics of a comfortable bed and lots of hot water. Add in plenty of space, a separate bedroom and a full kitchen and it is already a winner. Then add the bonus of a friendly host who sends and responds to messages quickly. The location is great also because it is a nice neighborhood tucked into easy access to multiple freeways for whatever reason you are in San Diego.

This house was a great spot for our family and friends! The living space was very spacious and the kids loved the pool! Convenient location to get around and enjoy all San Diego has to offer. Jesse was quick to respond and clarify any questions we had!

We will definitely be booking to Tooraj’s place whenever we are in San Diego. The place is beautiful and has had super cool decor/esthetic. You can tell that time was taken to make it comfortable and interesting. It really felt like we were escaping to a unique place. The pool and hot tub were great! The pool was warm and private. More towels than we could use, which may not seem like a big deal, but I’ve been in Airbnb’s that don’t give enough towels. Plenty of kitchen appliances and walkable to groceries stores, restaurants, shopping, etc. Tooraj was very responsive and gave detailed instructions. Great place!

We had a wonderful stay! Greg and Leslie were so welcoming and kind and their home is beautiful and very enjoyable. Hope to be back again soon.

Love our stay atTiggs home. Was amazing dogs got to swim. We walked to the beach rode by to pickle ball all around great trip.
