Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Corbridge

We spoke to Janice a few times whilst we were at the cottage. Janice was lovely, extra friendly and very accommodating. We’ve visited previously and will be back very soon.

What an amazing property! The house was set far enough from neighbors on all sides to provide lots of privacy. The yard around the house was very big. The space inside was immaculate and exactly as depicted. James and Mel were wonderful hosts. We had everything we needed. We stayed just after Christmas and they even put up a Christmas tree for us. The bedrooms were large with plenty of storage and hanging space. The house itself was very large and spacious. There was a game room for the kids, a place for dad to work and the sofa in the living room was very comfortable. It’s about a 6 min walk into Morpeth high street that has loads of great restaurants and shopping. There is ample parking on site. We absolutely loved it!

The cottage is very well-equipped, with everything you need to rustle up a three course meal - plenty pots, pans, roasting tins, utensils and a huge six seater dining table. It’s really easy to organise supermarket deliveries but only a 10-12 minute drive (Carlisle) if you’d rather pick things up yourself. The location is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of great dog walks close at hand. If you’re feeling less energetic you can relax in the cosy lounge or sit upstairs in the seating area of the master bedroom with amazing panoramic views of the countryside (thanks to the floor to ceiling windows). Sharu was an absolutely lovely host - extremely responsive and ever so helpful, yet completely unobtrusive; allowing me the space to enjoy my stay. I would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again when visiting the area

Just back from a lovely 2 night stay at castle view. Paul's home far exceeded our expectations it was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. It is in a lovely quiet area and within walking distance to the local shops/pubs and ourselves and our dogs felt right at home. Paul was very responsive and informed us prior to our stay of a slight issue with one of the beds. This didn't affect our stay in the slightest but Paul hand delivered us a lovely bottle of wine to compensate. We hope to stay again soon! We would also recommend the wellwood arms if you are staying for food/drinks a lovely local pub and a bonus that they are dog friendly too!

We had a lovely stay here for our friend’s 30th birthday! House was so beautiful and the surroundings were amazing! Lots to do nearby and Christine was so helpful, would definitely stay again!

our family had a lovely four nights here over New Year. We made good use of the kids toys and board games. Kids loved the quirky bunk beds. Had a nice breakfast and dinner down in the town, and also a wonderful pizza takeaway. Made several great day trips to Alnwick, Simonside forest and Bamburgh castle. A lovely relaxing home, thank you very much to the hosts 💛

Fantastic stay for my husband’s 70th birthday celebrations with family age 70 -3 years old. Beautiful home, everything we needed, spacious, comfortable, warm with a little luxury to make our stay special & memorable.

Hosts were very helpful as they checked in with us a few times before we arrived to make sure we understood the parking arranagements, particulary due to recebt road works by the property. Flat was very warm, clean, comfortable and was exactly as described. Perfect walking distance from town.

Emma’s lovely, clean flat in the middle of Bishop was ideal for us. The bedrooms are spacious with massive & comfortable beds. The kitchen is great for cooking and eating as a family & the bathroom’s fab. The living room is really cosy & lots of choice on the TV. It’s great that we could bring our dog as well. Parking right outside made this really convenient. We will definitely be back, as we have family close by. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a lovely stay. Property was well located within easy walking distance to city centre and railway station. The flat was well stocked, beautifully decorated and fitted out and spotlessly clean. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome pack, and were very grateful to Lisa for accommodating our early arrival and late departure.

Zoe's apartment is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Northumberland coast. It is extremely clean and comfortable, fantastically well equipped and surprisingly spacious. The view of the Coquet estuary and Warkworth castle is exceptional. There are lots of good places to eat in walking distance. Communication with Zoe was first class. We would definitely stay there again.

Linda‘s place was extremely comfortable and well positioned. It was close to the Metro. A Sainsbury supermarket and three quaint pubs. Linda greeted us on our arrival and informed us about the highlights in Newcastle to visit. We took her advice and had such an enjoyable time that we would love to come back and explore it more..

The cottage is lovely. Lounge area nicely furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and spotless. As were the bedrooms. The street is full of character and very pretty with all the flower pots and benches and takes you straight to the town or to the river. Rothbury is lovely. Some lovely shops. Very friendly locals. Very conveniently placed for all destinations. The bakers butchers and delicatessen are all excellent. Big Coop if needed. We didn’t go into the pubs but they all looked lively and friendly. We loved it all.

This is a very comfortable apartment right in the heart of Corbridge with views over the church. It is well-equipped and has the advantage of a parking space.

Its the second year in row we have stayed for christmas. Great location accross from a nice quiet local pub, the loft and nook are very pretty, well kept and the owners are great communicators, would recomend
