Absolutely loved this house, felt like I was home. Kitchen was stocked with just about everything needed to prepare meals, plenty of towels for use. We loved the pool too. About 25 minutes to San Marcos. We thoroughly enjoyed Rose’s house and would highly recommend it!

I absolutely loved the place. It reminded me of my old house on Stone Oak overlooking a green belt full of deer and cows. Being from LA having a peaceful place with no car sounds or people is a rarity, as I slept like a baby. Even though my hedge fund lost lot of money during my stay, I still rested great and would stay here again. Great place for introverts.

We had a great time at Carrie’s place. We had the whole area to ourselves and the view was very nice and peaceful.

This is a perfect spot to relax and get away from it all while still being close to town with great shopping and restaurants. The property is beautiful and the home was very clean with great amenities. Super comfortable daybed downstairs with great bed and bath linens. Host was very responsive to any questions.

We loved our stay, the hot tub was incredible, cabin was cozy, and deer came right up to the porch! Owner made sure our Valentine’s Day weekend was perfect!!They even allowed us to extend our stay for an extra day at no extra charge! Absolutely would stay again, thank you Ashley!!!

This place is absolutely stunning and amazing. It is the perfect place to disconnect and have privacy. It is close enough to town for easy browsing but far enough away to really relax. Definitely will be booking again probably this year for my birthday!

We had a magical stay at this lakeside cottage. It was both the whimsy and quiet respite our family needed. We enjoyed waking to the stunning lake views through the expansive windows and traversing the cliff to the private lake shore. The setting was serene, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking for tranquility and a bit of exploration.

Cozy place to stay for a weekend getaway! Ashley stocked us with wood for the fire pit by the pool, but there is also a Chiminea on the porch if you're feeling more intimate. Decor was well thought out. Will stay here again!

The A frame House was absolutely STUNNING! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The tub sold me on this house in the pictures and it lived up to the expectation. A great place to relax. It’s a great location if you want to spend your day in that area or travel to San Antonio/Austin. We were stunned to see two giant bucks in the front lawn one morning. The A-Frame was a perfect spot for a honeymoon, and we’ve already talked about making another trip in the future.

This was our second time staying here and we will definitely come back. Thoughtful touches make this such a comfortable and relaxing place to stay!

This was the perfect place to stay for a small getaway weekend! The community was quiet and peaceful, the stars at night were beautiful! The cabin itself was clean and the perfect size for our party of 4. Also the fact that it is pet friendly was a huge plus, our dog Charlie, thanks you! Will deff stay again if we are in the area!

The container is finished out well and comfortable for what we needed. It’s set in a quiet neighborhood not too far from the amphitheater. Good place to crash after the concert. Oksana was a friendly communicative host. No problems.

Stayed at the Green Retreat. Great location with equal drive to Whimberly and Canyon Lake area. Extremely peaceful overall. Was kinda surprised to see the high school and stadium so close. Could hear the Friday night football game clearly. But good thing is, it’s over early so no interruption in our peace or sleep overall. Loved the views and property. Never did make it down to the creek area , maybe next time. Be prepared for a rough 1/2 mile driveway! But they do warn you not to come in a tiny car. Danielle was so sweet and super helpful with making sure our booking went right and we were happy. Five star host.

We were elated to find this peaceful, quaint cottage with amazing views! We wanted a place to recharge and be with our pups. This place is genuine fashionable cottage style with a wood burning fireplace. It is cozy with style! We loved it, our hosts were perfect. Fresh eggs available to go get yourself a fun plus! Beautiful canyon hiking trail included. And we enjoyed watching the horseback riders from our view. The town of Wimberly is fun and close! Our host recommended Whiskey Ridge dining in Driftwood and it was a perfect birthday celebration! This place is a five star rating for me, for being an authentic English Cottage rental with a scenic setting and was pet friendly too!

I couldn’t have asked for a better Airbnb to help me get married this weekend!! There was enough space for my small bridesmaid party and I to get ready then coming back to unwind from a day of getting married in the hot tub- and the most comfortable bed set on planet earth to finally sleep after a stressful week was amazing. 🤩 I fully plan to come back next year and do a mini anniversary verses a frozen cake.

The Cozy Cabin is exactly that—cozy! The space is clean and inviting, making for a comfortable stay. Though the weather wasn’t ideal during our visit, we enjoyed spending time in the party barn and relaxing in the jacuzzi, which made for a great way to pass the time. The cabin features a detailed and helpful welcome book, and the hosts were both friendly and accommodating while also respecting our privacy. The property itself is peaceful and relaxing, creating the perfect getaway. We chose to dine out rather than cook, but the kitchen was well-equipped for a small cabin. It had plenty of options, and cooking for two would have been easy. Overall, we truly enjoyed our trip and would love to return! Note for boat owners: We didn’t bring our boat on this trip, but we noticed that while the property does have a boat entrance, it would only be suitable for a smaller-profile boat. Due to trees and power lines, navigating the driveway with our bay boat wouldn’t have been possible.

We loved our stay! Had a few issues due to the cold weather but April was quick to respond and very accommodating. It was so peaceful and relaxing, especially with the tub! Home was stocked with bath and kitchen essentials making everything very easy. Highly recommend, would definitely stay again! ☺️

I’ve been searching for the perfect “peaceful getaway” for years and this place has won my heart! It was everything I had hoped for and more! Kate was so kind and accommodating! She welcomed my reservation at 7pm after I’d been terribly disappointed with the original Airbnb I reserved. So many rental owners fool you with photo angles and withheld details but the Happy House was even better than its online presence. My dog and I will definitely be back again and again!
