Very quiet, welcoming and clean.

What a great spot to stay near Góis. Its small but it has everything you may need besides a perfect location near the river. Tomé is a fantastic host and give us lots of great tips.

Her stand alone house is perched the. End of a lane with patio and pool deck with multiple seating options. The house faces west to enjoy the sunshine all day! 3 levels inside with kitchen on lowest level with wood burning stove. Everything to prepare meals. Entry floor is living space and electric fireplace. Bathing also located in entry level. Top level with bedroom and smaller bedroom with daybed. A very unique and one of a kind experience. Definitely with visiting and living like a local! All restaurants were hosted by warm people with wonderful homemade foods.

The house is super cozy with a good surrounding area. Calma, no noise. Impeccable cleaning and super useful kitchen utensils. We really like the stay and we count on coming back one day. For holiday or home with friends and family is an excellent option!

My husband and I and 2 chihuahuas checked in very quickly. Easily found a place to stay. We were met by Natalino, a very good-natured and kind host. The house is located in a beautiful and picturesque place. The view from the terrace is incredible. If you want to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city, from people, slow down and connect with nature, we definitely recommend this house. The house was clean, beautiful and very cozy! Nearby there are places worth seeing, such as the Serra de Estrela reserve. Our vacation was in peace and quiet. We will definitely come back for you again. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Joanne was very flexible and helpful. When it was wetter again, she came to get the laundry herself to dry in her dryer. They didn't charge anything extra for that! Joanne and Paul always had tips of what to do in the region. The house was very well equipped and is close to a lot of hiking trails through the woods. We are definitely satisfied with our month-long stay and highly recommend it!

Filipe's house is just as it appears in the photos! Everything was very clean, with nice spaces and, most important for us, super close to all the commerce, accessible by walking. Communication was prompt and Filipe was always attentive. Thank you! We will definitely be back.

We stayed overnight with our two dogs and it had everything we needed for our stay. Clear instructions on how to access the accomodation and we could park right in front which was very handy. Comfy beds, all rooms were en-suite and everything you need to cook in the kitchen. Thank you

Amazing place with an incredible garden!

We as a group of 8 people and 4 furry friends had an amazing time at Casa Toupeira, the check-in was flawless and the house was perfect to spend a relaxed couple of days during the New Year’s Eve, our dogs loved the extra outdoor space and that was what really stood out in the first place in the booking process. The cozy rooms with AC heating an fully equiped kitchen were perfect and the to top it of a great hosting experience with Jolanda that always kept being responsive and attentive, will surely recommend and possibly come back for other occasions.

Natalia’s house is beautiful, both indoors and outside. This was the ideal location to make our base to explore the Silver coast, but it could also be a wonderful retreat! The rooms are very bright and spacious and the kitchen is very well equipped. We appreciated the welcome goodies. Natalia was the perfect host and extremely quick and responsive to any questions we had. Thank you Natalia for a wonderful stay!

Very nice stay at Joana's place. You feel like visiting your relatives. Surroundings are much better than photo's are showing. Yard is surounded in close hills with forests. Big tranquility and very close to Coimbra. 2,5-3 km to local supermarket and good quality restaurants. Everybody have to take into account that owners live in the same house in upper floors, so sometimes they are passing same yard, but they are trying minimise disturbing your privacy as much as possible. Joana shared ecology egg's from her yard it was wonderfull. They are dog lovers as we are and our dog's felt comfortably with their dog's which they owning or supporting in the area. Best wishes to Joana and we would be happy to visit again.

A wonderful place to relax and be at peace with nature. Great for winter or summer tourism. We had everything. We didn't lack anything. We had Internet and telephone signals, not that we need to use because the place is magical. The kitchen is very well-equipped, we find everything very clean and organized. We enjoyed our stay and we strolled and dined in the city in Penacova. We already recommend it to several friends and family. Mr. Bruno very friendly and helpful. You can be sure we will return. ♡

I can only leave excellent observations about this place and its hosts. Corresponded and totally surpassed our expectations, we loved the privacy, beauty and tranquility we felt throughout the stay. We really enjoyed getting to know Christophe and Hayat, super communicative and friendly people, we couldn't be happier with these days spent in the cabin. We took our 2 dogs and took advantage of the surrounding trails to walk with them, they loved it. We recommend 100% and we intend to go back. À bientôt Christophe et Hayat. Carlos’ and Helene’s apartment is exquisite. Only 10 mins from Coimbra it is a beautifully restored cottage that is warm and inviting, but the most welcoming component is without doubt the hosts. Helene met us at check-in and in addition to giving us the full rundown on the property and it's surrounds, encouraged us to enjoy the surrounding bounty of fruit and produce, showed us the leisure equipment they offered and walked us through the use of electrical amenities. Next came the best surprise of all. The kitchen. Because our stay exceeded 3 nights our magnificent, thoughtful hosts had stocked the fridge with continental breakfast options and offered us locally produced honey and Olive Oil. It was such a thoughtful and generous act that really touched us. During our time both Carlos and Helene regularly touched base to see if all was ok and on leaving wished us safe travels for the rest of our journey. I can’t recommend it highly enough, do yourself a favour and stay.

The house corresponds exactly to the photos, it is comfortable and perfect to spend a few days, even in winter. The A/C system throughout the house ensures a warm and pleasant atmosphere. Communication with the host was easy and quick. I highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay. The house is beautifully appointed, with excellent linens and top of the line appliances, and was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. It’s a very unique and comfortable house with an incredible view and an interesting history. The lot is carved into the side of the escarpment flowing down to a long and dramatic beach. The beach walks were wonderful.

Thelma is a great host. Timely and quick to communicate. The house is very spacious, with a beautiful view of Coimbra and is located in the center in a very quiet and peaceful street. The house is well furnished with a modern and functional style. Highly recommended.

Perfect place and place to stay. With the necessary and sufficient. even if there are houses next door, they are not noticeable at all, silence in absolute pure tranquility. The little house, a little one is ideal and fair. Maybe with some extra furniture and decor but it's still perfect. Victor is super attentive and friendly and resolves the inconveniences super quickly. I know important: the farm is on the slope, so you will exercise like it or not. We will definitely be back. we loved the experience. Also our dog had a great time sunbathing

A beautiful home with great amenities and a friendly host :) I grew up in the town so it was nice to see a lot of tourists visiting. Only suggestion is for the host to recommend the two coffee shops and hiking trail, also list the near by grocery stores for guests.
