Remote Thatch Cottage on Dartmoor with Hot Tub

ClareRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Many thanks Miranda, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay . We particularly loved the amazing panoramic view from the kitchen, so spent a lot of time sitting on the floor...with little ones I hasten to add.....under floor heating....what a luxury! Unusually, the hot tub was hot on arrival and we made good use of it. The property was clean and had the most amazing soft rugs everywhere giving the place a really luxurious feel. We will be back!

Cramwell Cottage, The Ley Arms

SarahRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This cottage is not just beautiful but also very welcominng and cosy, there is everything your family needs to make your stay comfortable. We loved the hot tub, down stairs shower room , coffee machine ( thank you for the very generous amount of pods included) , very secure outside courtyard which was escape proof for our dog 🐕 and the use of the washing machine and dryer 😀 We took advantage of the The Ley Arms pub which is just 1 min walk away - the food was outstanding and the portions where huge ( definitely a winner 🏆) . We will definitely be bookjng again in the future, thank yoh for having us 🙏

Dunstone Cottage

AlyssaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had such a lovely time staying at Claire & Marks cottage. It is in an absolutely breath taking location with many beautiful walks right on the doorstep. The cottage itself is stunning and was spotlessly clean throughout. It felt like home from home with absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The pictures really do not do this place justice! Claire went above and beyond to make my birthday extra special and we can’t thank you enough. Perfect home and a perfect place to stay! Thank you xx

We had a beautiful stay at the oystercatcher for my birthday! Emma and Kevin went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after! The place was absolutely stunning and perfect for anyone wanting a homely, beautiful stay in Dartmoor, spitting distance to everything it has to offer! Hosts knowledge and tips about food and outdoor activities was amazing - we had a great two days exploring the local area using their guidance! Also very happy to have spent time with the goats, Juno the dog and pickles the cat! Thanks again, would not hesitate to return :)

Charming Cottage, Sea Views, 1 min walk to Harbour

ChloeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We spent 2 nights here - 2 adults and 2 children. We had a lovely stay, and really appreciated the scones with cream and jam on arrival - and the fresh milk and tea, coffee and sugar. We loved the views, the great location and how cosy the place was. We definitely will return as we have family in the area. The girls especially appreciated the crabbing equipment 🦀 Thank you James!

Magical Country Hideaway

BeckyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I can only echo what others have said- it truly is magical! I loved everything about the house, the wooden doors, the art work, the rugs, the smell (like old leather and graphite)! The kitchen was well equipped, which is rare for an airbnb, and made cooking easy. Only wish I could have stayed longer. Thanks to Michael and Julie for sharing their beautiful home.

Quaint Cottage near moors & beaches, dog friendly.

TiggiRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Had a great stay; really lovely cottage which was extremely thoughtfully equipped . The cottage has lots of character and we particularly enjoyed the log burner at the end of our days of exploring ! Gill was very flexible with our check in and out times and very easily contactable and helpful. Great to have The Wild Goose Inn within a minutes walk; very welcoming and serving excellent food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quiet village off the beaten track and Gill even supplied sunshine; we couldnt have asked for more. Thankyou .

Cosy Fisherman's Cottage w/ Balcony & Sea Views

JimRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a fantastic long weekend at the very aptly named Cosy Fisherman's Cottage. With panoramic views across the Plym estuary to Plymouth from both the kitchen / dining area and sitting room, it was a lovely setting to both wake up in and come back to. And the wood burner added to the lovely warm and cosy feel of the place. The local pubs and restaurants are great - and (as we wanted) - you can walk from cottage as its right on the South West Coast path. Thoroughly recommended!

Charming Thatched Country/Coastal Cottage (Devon)

KimRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The cottage is very cute all you would expect from a 16th century farm workers cottage, it warmed up really quickly, the neighbors were really lovely, perfect for the dogs, with separate garden, need to be able bodied as there's steps to garden and a small walk to parking, the cottage is well equipped with great views as on an elevated position . Jump in the car there are some great walks near by in the forrest and Woodbury is one of the area's that has great walks, one downside perfect for me being 5 foot but my partner did bang his head on the main beam running through the house more than once, but people were smaller in the days when these were built so we hung a bag on the beam to remind him and that worked. all in all a good place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Eleanor’s cottage. The location is great, really close to the centre of Totness with quick access to great beaches and stunning countryside. Eleanor has some great recommendations in her welcome folder, particular faves were the independent cinema, Indian restaurant and Man beach. The house is well decorated and furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. We hope to visit again

Little Buckland Cottage

AnnaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a great stay at Nicola's in her lovely warm cottage which was very convenient for our family wedding nearby. Nothing was too much trouble, be it wood for the burner in the conservatory or more milk for our breakfasts and she made is a delicious loaf of bread and gave us freshly laid eggs from her hens. The location was peaceful and quiet in beautiful surroundings.

Luxury self-catering getaway in Salcombe

SandyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved our stay at Victoria’s place. She was very flexible & understanding when our plans changed unexpectedly - even offering us extra time at the cottage if we needed it. We couldn’t have asked for a more responsive host. The cottage is lovely, so cosy and homely, especially in the cold winter weather. Everything is clean and neat, and feels very new. Everything we needed was provided, and more - some delightful treats were left for us and we felt thoroughly spoilt.

Wren Cottage, Brixham

NicholasRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A cosy cottage, with delightful wonkiness. We made use of the log burner, as it was still chilly in February. A quiet location which was an easy walk into town (with a real kicker of a hill at the end though – I’m glad it wasn’t icy!). David’s Fish & Chips were great as recommended, and Albero’s in town did delicious Italian style seafood. I’d happily stay again.
