Smoking-friendly vacation rentals in Cobano District

This was a great rental. It's clean, bright and private. It's right across the street from the beach and that area of the beach was one of my favourites. If you surf, it's a more intermediate break but there are some days that beginners can make it work. It's also really close to the grocery store and a couple of restaurants. The bed was comfortable and everything worked great. Mariana was very responsive every time I had a question. I definitely recommend this rental.

Well, I am one of the first to review this space so I will add a little more than the normal brief review so you know what to expect… lots of pros, no big cons really. As of this writing this place is basically brand new - probably finished in the past few months. There are still manufacturer stickers on things. Completely pristine. Good workmanship. Bathroom is perfect. Bedroom is perfect - bed is a bit firm but a lot of people like that. I slept well. The bedroom is air conditioned and well-sealed to the outside. The “hanging out space” is fully outside - so the kitchen and living area.. so don’t expect air conditioning in that area. That did not bother me but might not work for some groups. It’s really cute and very nice to sit outside and hear the monkeys and watch the world go by. Right next to a bakery. Short walk to restaurants and a medium sized grocery store. Can also walk to the beach - 7-10 minutes. Hosts were very nice and helpful and we used translator app to chat.

We stayed for 10 days and loved every minute! The atmosphere around the apartment is perfect. Giulia was a wonderful host and such a kind person. As a bonus there’s 4 cats that hangout on the property and they’re so sweet. 10/10 will be staying again!

We loved our stay in Santa Teresa! The house is surrounded by nature, surrounded by forest, and we even had the chance to hear howler monkeys one morning, we saw an eagle passing too:-) . The hosts are simply adorable, always available and super welcoming. We talked a lot with them and enjoyed every conversation. Their sympathy made our stay even more special. We sincerely hope to see them again. A big thank you Sarah, Franck and Joy! 😊🌿

If you find availability to book this slice of paradise, don’t hesitate. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 1 month and Betty is literally the best host you could ask for. She will always go above and beyond to make sure your stay is more comfortable and accommodate your needs. I was working remotely here and was worried about the wifi and Betty went ahead and upgraded the internet to the highest speed to accommodate me and it was perfect for work. Betty’s place is perfectly located in the best part of Santa Teresa, just far enough from the dust and noise of the strip to have peace. It’s a short 7 min walk to the beach and the walk back is uphill (ATV recommended) but is worth the spectacular view. The place is very clean and well designed, with fans provided. One of my favourite things to do was watch the sunrise from the property’s helicopter landing pad in the morning. There is a worker onsite that helps with cleaning and made the place feel secure. This place is a hidden gem.

Lovely and spacious apartment for two, 5 min from the beach and close to restaurants, shops and bars. Apartment was just like the photos, and had a lovely balcony to enjoy breakfast. Alejandro was very responsive and helpful during our stay. We really enjoyed it and can highly recommend this place! We hope to be back in the future!

Really enjoyed our stay at Lucia and Nicola, awesome meeting our hosts too who were very kind and helpful. The accomodation is located in a beautiful spot, there are walks starting from the property and it is at walking distance (uphill) from delicious restaurants, beautiful beach and the Montezuma waterfall. Very chill and friendly atmosphere !

Mandatory stop in this area of Costa Rica. Everything is nearby. We don't leave the house. It was our break in the middle of our trip across the country. The hostess was top notch from the start. How we don't travel in 4 x 4, they took us from where we left a vehicle to the house at the entrance and at the egreso. And always available to reach from the village what was needed. The environment is wonderful. And howlers never leave you alone. We would definitely come back. And the entrance path is a nice adventure too. All of 10! Thank you!!!

Very pretty home, it is bigger than it seems. Excellent location, safe and close to Santa Teresa’s main street and beaches. We only encountered 2 problems: there is no microwave, which is a problem is you plan to reheat prepared food, and the fan in one of the rooms did not work.

Avenida Cielo is a closed street making it very quiant and cozy. Walking down the beach with a fresh coffee and coconut cream to start the day was just what we needed! Stephane is very attentive, friendly and gives great local recomendations - made us feel very comfortable. Pura Vida!

The location is perfect, close to the beach and close to commerce. Very clean and cute, had everything we needed, we were 9 people and it was super good, we only had an inconvenience with the water but more or less we knew that the area has some problems on this issue, we reported when it happened and they went to fix us, they were quick to respond to us to fix. Also on the day of check-in we arrived at the beach earlier and we wrote to save a few things before and they responded very quickly and if they left us. We also left something forgotten and they gladly mailed it to us. It's definitely a place we'd go back to and recommend.

Our stay at this place was excellent. The property complied with exactly what is described in the listing, it had everything needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The location is ideal, with easy access to several beaches, which allowed us to enjoy the area to the fullest. Also, we really appreciate the flexibility of the host in allowing us to check in early, which gave us the opportunity to take even more of the facilities from the first moment. I would definitely recommend this place and come back on an upcoming visit to Santa Teresa. Thanks for the hospitality!

I enjoyed my stay at Studio Aloha. The location we very nice. Having security at the entrance was a nice plus. The location is a 5 minute walk to the closest beach. About 10 minute walk to the cafe's and restaurants. So it's just far enough to way to be very quiet and peaceful, but close enough to town to walk. The host, Ophir, was extremely responsive and helpful. She offered many recommendations as well has helped me book a taxi from the airport, book a ATV for the week and connected me with pickup laundry service. I'll definitely be coming back next year.
